Thaman Charges 1 Cr for NTR!
SS Thaman is known for his flexible nature and easy on his pay cheques in film industry. However, now, Thaman too seems to have hiked his pay as he would be charging a bomb for his next biggie NTR – Trivikram Srinivas film. If sources are to be believed, Thaman will be paid Rs 1 Crore by Haarika & Hassine Creations for NTR and Trivikram Srinivas’ untitled film.
Thaman has been working on a lot of films of late. Especially in 2017-18, Thaman has delivered many hits. Since he is back in form, NTR and Trivikram have zeroed in on Thaman.
Although initially, Trivikram had planned to have Anirudh, but the plans were dropped after the disaster result of Agnyaathavaasi. NTR also said to have enthused a lot of confidence, trust, faith on Thaman.
With this, Thaman will also said to be focusing completely on NTR and Trivikram film, by keeping his other projects aside and hence Thaman is said to be charging a Crore.
Two Groups of Janasena Clash, Cops Enter Scene!
Even though Janasena is at very start of its political journey, it has witnessed a clash between two groups on Saturday in Guntakal of Anantapur district. It all started when Janasena leader Tailor Pawan have called for party meeting in a private function hall to discuss on poling booths, forming of ad-hoc committees, future political course of action. Learning about the meet, upset die-hard fans of Pawan from Guntakal entered the venue and picked up a quarrel for not inviting them.
Stating that they have been working hard in Guntakal from longtime and has been taking part in many welfare activities, social service activities, a group of fans – visibly upset – have broken the chairs, furniture at the meeting. This let to jostle as two groups clashed and shoved each other. All this took place in front of party’s state leader Mahender Reddy, district observer Prabhakar, district leader TJ Varun.
This led to a tricky situation as both groups turned angry and tempers rose. Finally, cops have entered the scene and expressed displeasure for conducting a political meeting without permission. Cops later present till the end of the meet. Meanwhile, state leader B Mahender Reddy has intervened and pacified both the groups by asking everyone to work hard for the party.

Nadiya has started her second innings with Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram Srinivas Attarintiki Daredi. Since then, there is no looking back for her. Although she is seen as Prabhas mother in Mirchi, but definitely it was Attarintiki Daredi that cemented her position in Tollywood as a character artiste.
The latest is Nadiya will be seen as Allu Arjun’s mother in his forthcoming patriotic drama Naa Peru Surya. While Allu Arjun essays the role of a brooding angry army officer Surya, Nadiya is his mother.
It is buzzed that the film has ensemble cast including Sarath Kumar, Arjun, Nasser, Boman Irani. Rao Ramesh will play Allu Arjun’s God Father. The film also has a romantic side. Anu Emmanuel will be seen as Allu Arjun’s love interest. Noted music duo Vishal-Sekhar has composed the music while writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi is making his directorial debut with the film.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who graced the pre-release function of Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India that is slated for release on May 4, is all praise for Allu Arjun. Charan recalled his childhood and how enthusiastic Bunny has been.
Calling Allu Arjun as better dancer than him, he admitted that his father, Mega Star Chiranjeevi had told him to learn dances seeing Allu Arjun. This is not all. Charan said Allu Arjun has always entertained the whole family members during family events or functions.
Revealing that Allu Arjun would be the first person who takes initiatives to dance or entertain at family events, Charan admitted he has always been shy.
Recalling an incident, Charan said Chiru was worried about Charan’s dancing skills before the shoot of Chirutha and had called Allu Arjun to take his feedback on Charan. Charan said it was Bunny who gave confidence to Chiru about Charan, his dance skills privately. “Allu Arjun had told dad that I’ll do well and I should be allowed to work for films. Arjun told dad that how I do privately. Convinced dad had stopped scolding me ever since. It is all because of Allu Arjun,” said Ram Charan.
Charan said he always wanted to make it to the filmy events of Allu Arjun, but he couldn’t make it earlier either due to the shooting of his films or someother work. He said he is very happy to attend the pre-release event of Naa Peru Surya. Charan said Allu Arjun is so “hungry” towards his work and is very dedicated, committed actor.
Heaping praises on Naa Peru Surya, Charan said it is looking like honest film and is looking like yet another super hit. He said all the critically-acclaimed films have been becoming big hits for the past 2 years. He said industry is going through a very good phase. He said even his Rangasthalam has been received well and said it is right moment for Naa Peru Surya as well. On the whole, Charan’s presence, words at the Naa Peru Surya pre-release event has given big boost to mega fans who have united.

Why No Promotions For Rangasthalam?
Rangasthalam is undoubtedly the first true blockbuster of the year. The Ram Charan starrer film is still collecting shares in few areas in its fourth week which is a great achievement these days. Moreover, each and every distributor is enjoying profits.
Curiously, makers of Rangasthalam have completely stopped the movie promotions from third week. It is a common scenario that producers opt for additional publicity when their film is running successfully and is providing surplus profits.
However, Rangasthalam promotions have been stopped ever since Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu hit the screens.
On the other hand, BAN makers are promoting their film like never seen before manner. Despite giving regular interviews and attending media interactions, they organized two success meets within a week of its release.
They officially announced that the film grossed Rs 100 cr in 2 days and Rs 160 cr in the first week.
Though Rangasthalam crossed Rs 100 cr share mark, they didn’t announce it officially. They didn’t even release a press note regarding collections till date. Buzz is that Bharat Ane Nenu is the reason behind this.
Producers of Mythri Movie Makers have good affiliation with Mahesh Babu, his wife Namrata and BAN director Koratala Siva. Furthermore, they have a film coming up with Mahesh Babu for which Sukumar is the director.
Irrespective of poor promotions, Rangasthalam is doing well in many areas. If they hold success meet in Rajahmundry or Tirupati, it will definitely have negative impact on BAN.
Perhaps this will damage Mythri Movie Makers’ association with Mahesh Babu. So, they have decided to stop Rangasthalam promotions as to give complete space to Bharat Ane Nenu.
Now, JP Praises Koratala Siva
Accolades continue to pour in for Bharat Ane Nenu’s director Koratala Siva. The film is winning everyone’s appreciation for the important social messages it propagated with a fine coating of entertainment.
Apart from fans and film industry celebrities, a few politicians, including KTR, have also appreciated the movie. Lok Satta leader Jayaprakash Narayan is the latest politician to have been impressed with the film and its director.
JP, who is considered a visionary by many, watched Bharat Ane Nenu along with his family in a special screening this evening. He took to Twitter and said, “Koratala Siva has combined mass entertainment with two powerful messages to make people think: rule of law and local govts. Power shd be localised to allow people to make democracy work.”
JP went on to say – “wherever decisions made locally impact only local lives and not others, power should be vested entirely in local govts. Only then ppl understand links between voting & their lives, and taxes & services; democracy works.”
Incidentally, during the recent interactive session with KTR, Koratala Siva revealed that he had discussed Bharat Ane Nenu’s script with JP several times and that the bureaucrat turned politician had given him several revolutionary ideas that changed the script to a great extent.

Yes, I’ll Meet Chandrababu Too – KCR on Federal Front
Strongly vouching for a non-Congress and non-BJP front to take on Narendra Modi-led NDA, Telanagana Chief Minister and TRS chief KCR has met DMK supremo Karunanidhi on Sunday in Chennai. After his brief interaction with Karunanidhi, KCR has spoken to Tamil media where he has revealed an interesting thing.
When a media person had asked KCR whether he would meet AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as well, pat came KCR’s reply. Without thinking much KCR said, “Yes, I’ll meet Chandrababu Naidu too. There is no doubt about it. We have worked together. We are good friends.”
KCR had met TMC president and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, JD (S) chief Deve Gowda. KCR is expected to meet Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav and Odisha CM, BJD’s Naveen Patnaik in sometime.
However, the delay in the meet of KCR and Chandrababu Naidu’s meet has led to various speculations. Telangana CM KCR has been vouching for a Federal Front as an alternative to national parties BJP, Congress. KCR has been meeting CMs, heads of various regional parties to muster support.
But KCR and Chandrababu Naidu’s meet is certainly expected to trigger a major political significance.

Boney Kapoor’s Sweet Tribute To Sridevi
It seems Boney Kapoor is indeed planning to make a documentary on his late wife and beloved actress Sridevi.
He has already registered three movie titles called Sri, Sridevi and Sri Ma’am. Kapoor registered these titles with the movie registration department of one of the producer associations of Bollywood.
Says a source, “Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too.
Films like Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently.”
Sources further inform that these names are only a few among the 20 odd titles being registered by him.
Is it federal front or Pro-BJP front?
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been claiming of launching a federal front as an alternative to the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
But if one were to closely observe his moves, it appears the TRS president’s moves are mainly aimed at isolating the Congress party, thereby indirectly helping the BJP.
At his party’s plenary held on Friday, KCR went on speaking about how the successive ruling parties at the Centre failed to develop the country in the last seven decades, but most of the time, he targeted the Congress party.
His primary objective seems to be not to make it to the national politics with a bang, but prevent the Congress party from coming to power at the Centre.To achieve that, KCR has to wean as many parties as possible away from the Congress, so as to ultimately decimate the United Progressive Alliance.
For the last few months, he has been holding talks with leaders of only pro-Congress parties or the UPA allies – starting with Mamata Banerjee of Trinamul Congress, Hemanth Soren of Jharkhand Mukthi Morcha, Ajit Jogi of Chhattisgarh, Stalin of DMK and Deve Gowda of Janata Dal (Secular).
And in the coming days, he announced that he will hold talks with Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party, Mayawati of Bahujan Samaj Party, Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar and Sharad Pawar of Nationalist Congress party.
Interestingly, KCR has not made any attempt to meet NDA allies like Akali Dal and Republican Party of India.
He also declared that he would hold talks with leaders of parties who fell apart from the BJP – like Biju Janata Dal and Telugu Desam Party. But, he did not talk about bringing parties like YSR Congress which is likely to join the BJP bandwagon.
Analysts say KCR could be playing into the hands of Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo, whose main objective is to make Congress-mukth Bharat.If KCR can isolate Congress by luring all its partners into the so-called federal front, the Congress becomes isolated and cannot come to power on its own.
At the same time, the federal front will also not be able to remain a single piece, because of a common binding thread.Ultimately, it will be help the NDA come back to power again, which works to the advantage of KCR, ultimately!
It’s Time Sai Pallavi Put An End To Her ‘Extras’
Sai Pallavi scored two back-to-back hits in Tollywood and gained a huge fan following. Thanks to this success, Sai Pallavi became extra demanding. She started giving statements like she will accept a movie only if she likes her character and even refused a handful of movies in the process.

Had Naga Shaurya promoted Kanam, the success he had attained with Chalo would have helped Kanam a great deal.
South Indian movies have always given less importance to the female leads. If Sai Pallavi adamantly sticks to her decision of acting in movies only if she likes a particular character, she may end up doing movies like Kanam in future. All this craze may not last long and industrywallahs opine that it’s high time Sai Pallavi realised it and put an end to her ‘extras’.
