After a series of duds, Mahesh Babu seems to be back in form as his latest release Bharat Ane Nenu has opened well and received good talk. Mahesh and team was in jubilation ever since the film got a positive talk.

When asked about who was the first person who told him the film’s talk and its result, a happy Mahesh told, “It was Namrata who told me the first talk. She waited till 2.30 AM to finish the first show in the US. As soon as the show got over, she found out the talk and she told me that the film got ‘Super Duper Hit’ talk. I was overwhelmed.” Mahesh has been waiting to hear such word from a longtime. Right now, Mahesh is enjoying the success of Bharat.

Mahesh also revealed about his darling daughter Sitara who loved the film a lot. “She has been singing the song Vasumati. She loved the song. In fact, she loved Kiara more than the song,” said Mahesh.

Mahesh is planning to go for a brief vacation. After this, he will join the shoot of his next (Mahesh 25) directed by Vamshi Paidipalli. For his up next (Mahesh 26), he will collaborate with Rangasthalam director Sukumar

Despite so much hype around his last outing “Okka Kshanam”, Allu Sirish remained the only mega hero who is still to score a big success. While all of his cousins are going ahead and becoming 20+ crore range heroes, this youngster is yet to make his mark.

From the last couple of months, Allu Sirish intensified his search for stories and would ask young and budding directors to come up with some commercial stories that suit his image. But he rejected many experimental stories outright. Finally, it looks like Sirish found it safe to come up with a remake.

Speaking with a leading English daily, he revealed that his next is a remake of 2013 Malayalam super hit comedy movie ABCD (American Born Confused Desi). Its the story of two spoiled youngsters (NRIs) who are forced by their father to go to India in the name of vacation, but actually they are forced to live without any luxury.

While Sirish is one hero, we have to see who will play that cousin role, which is important for the film. Some say that the Telugu makers are cutting out the cousin role to elevate the mega hero. Newcomer Sanjiv Reddy is directing the film.

Danayya revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi watched the film on the very first day of its release with his family members and immediately phoned him personally to congratulate.

“Chiranjeevi garu spoke for nearly ten minutes and appreciated us for making a fantastic movie. He said the film would become huge blockbuster and it is turning into a big blockbuster,” Danayya happily said.

Koratala Siva opined that he always treats Mahesh Babu’s movie as something special.

He is known for writing great dialogues but the director reveals that he feared writing dialogues for the character of Posani Krishna Murali who played a minister in the movie.

“Posani is my guru. This was the first time he had acted in my film. I was tensed to write dialogues for him,” Koratala said.

Remember Poonam Kaur? The model-turned-actress from Punjab, who acted in a few Telugu films which people don’t even remember, is desperately trying to gain their attention by cashing in on the demand for special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

Though Poonam Kaur was appointed as the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh handlooms industry, she has hardly done any promotion of handloom clothes till date.

There have been no reports of her participating in any of the exhibitions and fashion shows. Of course, the Chandrababu Naidu government, too, has not done much for the sector. Now, with the agitation for special category status reaching its peak, Poonam thought of grabbing the attention of the ruling party.

On Sunday, Poonam performed special homam at Rishikesh on the banks of Ganga river seeking special category status to Andhra Pradesh.She also conduced special prayers at the ashram of Karoli Baba and wished that AP would get special category status at the earliest.

Though Poonam has stopped acting in Telugu films long ago, she is posing as if she represents Tollywood.She said the Telugu film industry should take the initiative and come forward to agitate for special category status.

She appealed to the film bigwigs to support TDP and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu in his efforts to secure justice to the state.

Talking about Charmi at a press conference of Mehbooba, today Puri Jagan made an interesting remark on the actress. He said, “I like Charmi very much because she works better than many males. “Magallakantey baga work chestundi”. Even when we’re shooting at locations with minus temperatures, she used to take care of food and everything for all of us. Such a hard worker” stressed Puri.

And that explains how the director is actually using the services of the former heroine as an executive producer of this company. Insiders say that there is nothing actually going on between Charmi and Puri, like what outsiders and gossip mongers perceive.

And then Mehbooba trailer is talking volumes about Puri Jagan’s hard-work. In this context, Puri revealed that Dil Raju’s comment after watching the film made him happy. “So if you put your heart, then this the kind of output you’ll deliver- Dil Raju said. And with Dil Raju releasing the movie, many distributors are expecting positive about the film” said Puri Jagan.
