Finally, Salman Khan convicted in Blackbuck case
Bollywood star hero Salman Khan received a big jolt as Jodhpur court on Thursday convicted him in the two-decades-old blackbuck poaching case for killing two of the endangered species.
The other co accused actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam were given the benefit of the doubt and acquitted. The Judge will pronounce quantum of punishment later in the day.
Final arguments of the case were completed in the trial court on March 28. Salman is accused of killing two blackbucks, hunting of which is prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act, at Kankani village in Jodhpur during the shooting of film Hum Saath Saath Hain. Actors Saif, Sonali, Tabu and Neelam and a local resident, Dushyant Singh, are among the accused in the case.
The 52 year old Salman Khan arrived the court from Mumbai in a chartered flight. He was busy shooting Rece- 3 Hindi film.

Village ‘Cleaned’ With ‘Yellow’ Water After Jagan’s Yatra
Yesterday, as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra walkathon, YSRCP President YS Jagan visited the Narakoduru village in Guntur district. While the YSRCP’s local cadre was delighted to see Jagan, his tour had also angered Narakoduru residents and they did the unthinkable.
Soon after Jagan left their village, a large number of people, including several TDP activists, took to the roads on which Jagan conducted his yatra and ‘cleaned’ the roads with tankers full of turmeric water. Angry protestors even displayed banners and placards, saying that their village is sinned by a ‘corrupt person’s Padayatra.

Bollywood bombshell Sunny Leone is known for her scorching hot avatars that set the screens ablaze. But here’s a totally different Sunny, looking flamboyant in a long coat, a black hat and boots as she turns cowboy and wields a gun. Sunny called her first attempt to turn cowboy ‘silly’.
Sunny will next be seen in a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film titled Veeramahadevi. She is also awaiting the release of her upcoming Hindi flick Total Dhamaal. On the personal front, after adopting a baby girl named Nisha Kaur Weber, Sunny and her husband Daniel recently turned parents to twin boys named Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber.
Sharwanand, from a lover boy to a rugged thug
Sharwanand has been successful with his soft lover boy roles, be it in ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ or in ‘Mahanubhavudu’. The happening hero will next be seen in a rugged avatar as he plays a gangster. Directed by Sudheer Varma, the romantic action entertainer is bankrolled by Sitara Entertainments. ‘Hello’ fame Kalyani Priyadarshan will be seen as Sharwa’s love interest.
The makers have planned back to back shoot schedules starting in Vizag today. Comedian Sudharshan and Aadarsh will also take part in the schedule along with lead pair. A brief schedule is also planned in Kakinada.
The film unit will return to Hyderabad for next schedule where they will be canning a heavy action sequence at massive set erected in Aluminum Factory. Sharwanand is also busy wrapping ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ interim.

No Rumours Plz!! Venky-Teja Film Is On
The super success of “Nene Raju Nene Mantri” has brought back director Teja into huge demand. With that, there came few pressures as well. And now it is being rumoured that the director has to let go off one of his most awaited films.
Surprisingly Teja signed both “Aata Naade Veta Naade” and “NTR” at the same time. His plan is to manage the shooting of Venkatesh’s Aata Naade.. first and then move on to NTR. However, Venky’s brother Suresh Babu who is looking after the script of their film is not happy with the script outcome and wants some more changes it seems. In this context, reports are coming out that this project is cancelled. What is the truth anyway?
Even after doing a photo shoot with Venky and Shriya, there are chances that the film might get halted, but in reality, there is nothing of such sorts. We hear that from April 23rd the makers are going for a regular shoot of the movie. After the first schedule gets wrapped, Teja will start a bit of NTR and will come back for the second schedule.
And at the time when Teja goes for NTR shooting, Venky his start his “Fun and Frustration” with Varun Tej under Anil Ravipudi’s direction. Those who believed in rumours are feeling that Aata Naade Veta Naade is the second film in a row for Venky and Teja after “Ganga” to get cancelled, but there is no scope that anyway.

Coming to his latest movie, till now he made somewhere between 15-20 tweets for “Bharat Anu Nenu”. But with release date fixed on April 20th, he may aggressively tweet about the film from the day after tomorrow after he returns from Spain. So that may take the number of tweets to an all-time high. They say that he will easily tweet more than 15-20 tweets in the coming days about the film. And if the film scores a hit owing to the buzz, he will continue tweeting.

BJP Damaging My Credibility : Chandrababu
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday (April 4, 2018) accused the BJP of “mud-slinging” and said the Centre was trying to “damage his credibility” ever since his party began the fight for the special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister demanded setting up of a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) to look at the issue.
“After the state was bifurcated, we needed hand-holding and that is why we joined the NDA. We went for campaigns together and assured people that justice would be done and people voted for us,” Naidu said.
“Everyone thought the BJP combination would bring betterment. Despite my 29 visits to Delhi during the last four years, nothing has happened, except minor things. Major things are left to be done,” he said.
“People of Andhra Pradesh continue to feel betrayed. But why can’t the present government have a review? Appoint JPC and tell them to have a look into the issue,” he said.
The chief minister also played clips of Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising the special category status (SCS) to Andhra during public meetings in Nellore, Amaravati and Tirupati.
“During a meet in Tirupati, the PM had said that the capital city of Amravati will be better than Delhi. He even advised me to visit Kazakhstan’s capital Astana to get ideas. I do not know what happened after that. Now when we are raising our voice, you (BJP) are harassing my government. The central government is indulging in mud-slinging and it is painful. They want to damage my credibility which was built over a period of 40 years,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had last month ended its four-year-old alliance with the BJP and walked out of the NDA, days after two of its Union ministers resigned over the Centre’s refusal to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Following the move, BJP president Amit Shah had in a letter accused the TDP of being driven by political considerations and not the concern for the state.
When asked if he had reached out to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E K Palaniswami, the Chandrababu said, “They should support our cause as both the states share an excellent relationship”.
“I did not reach out to the Tamil Nadu government. But we are sharing Krishna River water with them and have an excellent relationship. So they should offer support to our cause,” he said.
Commenting on his rival YSRCP’s efforts for getting the SCS for the state, Naidu said, “I am fighting the attitude of the central government. I am not talking as TDP president. Some people may adopt different strategies or have a different agenda. But I want support of all parties”.
Naidu also accused the centre of reversing Rs 350 crore fund as special assistance to Andhra Pradesh, without any intimation.
#RRR: We Can’t Believe Charan And NTR!!
If there are any historic moments of modern Telugu cinema, then Baahubali’s creation and success will be followed by the coming together of Ram Charan and NTR for a film with Rajamouli. And here is what Film Nagar folks are saying.
Last week while promoting Rangasthalam movie, Ram Charan revealed that he is yet to hear about the story of the Rajamouli directorial. And then other day at IPL teaser launch program, Jr NTR also clarified that he hasn’t yet heard any story from Rajamouli but agreed to the film due to the combination. There starts the doubt-train running in our minds.
The first question that comes to anyone’s mind is, how come two-star heroes sign a project without even listening to the story. But with Rajamouli at the helm, they might have done it. Then, here comes the doubt. Why did they go to the USA to take part in the photo session if Rajamouli didn’t narrate any story? For which character, they will do the shoot without knowing the script?
Some say that both Charan and NTR have got clear-cut instructions from Rajamouli as to what they speak about #RRR in the media. And both the actors are said to be planting the same story in the minds of everyone when it comes to talking about ‘story’ of the film. Otherwise, can we really believe that these two don’t know the story?
Prabhas Meets Sukumar At Airport!! What’s Up?
Running high with the success of “Rangasthalam”, director Sukumar actually want to take a long break before he starts his next. And when quizzed about his next, the director clarified that he will be taking a call after finishing his holiday with family members. But here is what happened a couple of days back.
Already many star producers are running after Sukumar and one of them gave a mind-blowing amount in advance to the creative director. And that producer wanted Sukumar to meet Prabhas once to discuss the possibility of collaborating in the coming months.
As Prabhas was heading for Saaho shoot and a flight to catch to Abu Dhabi, the producer made arrangements for a 30-minute meeting with the actor at a hotel in Hyderabad international airport premises. Reports have that Sukumar met him at the place and told the Baahubali star that he will come up with a script in three months.
Looking at the way Rangasthalam is getting huge applause, Prabhas is also having on the mind to do some realistic cinema and is said to have asked Sukumar to come up with another such script.
A source informed us, “Prabhas will start for Sukumar’s film first if all goes well and director Radha Krishna’s film will be little delayed. But if Sukumar’s script gets delayed, then he will finish both Saaho and Radhakrishna’s film”. Let’s see.
Mehrene Demanding 80 Lakhs From Shourya?
Despite having not even a single hit like a Samantha or Kajal at the time when their careers took off to a flying start, heroine Mehrene Pirzada is quite lucky that she’s continuously bagging offers.
