These communal debates have been causing a great damage to the society and since the past three years, we have witnessed a blatant effort by communal forces to affect the viewer’s response on Hindi films. From PK to Padmavat, many controversies have sparked in the industry, but now even before his film has hit the floor, Bollywood superstar Aamir got criticised for his choice of role in epic mythological drama Mahabharatha.

The known news is that Aamir Khan has teamed up with Mukesh Ambani for the prestigious film Mahabharatha, with a budget of Rs. 1000 crores. He’s likely to play either Lord Krishna or Arjun in the project. On a shocking note, a few people on Twitter started questioning him, how can a Muslim play the role of Hindu.

A French journalist, Francois Gautier, started this communal debates on social media, as he tweeted, Frenchman tweeted as, ‘Why should Aamir Khan, a Muslim, play in most ancient & sacred of Hindu epics, the Mahabharata? Is BJP Govt of Narendra Modi going to be like the Congress party & just stand by in name of secularism??? Would Muslims allow a Hindu to play life of Mohamed?’

Reacting to the same, writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar gave a fitting reply. He asked the journalist if he is getting paid from PR agencies to spread negativity against the most ambitious project of India “Mahabharata” planned by Mr Mukesh Ambani and Aamir Khan.

But Francois didn’t stop there and he took a jibe at Javed’s personal life saying that the writer and his second wife speaks for Hindu women while they secretly believe Islam is only true religion.

Irritated with the unethical tweets of this so-called journalist, Javed this time showed him his place with just a single tweet. He tweeted, ‘You scoundrel, have you not seen Peter Brooks production of this great epic Mahabharata in France. I would like to know which foreign agency is paying you to spread this kind of perverse and poisonous thoughts in our country’.

Not just Javed, many Bollywood celebrities have come to rescue of Aamir and also Javed Akthar.

We always see one end of the tunnel but the other hand also has its own share of light and shining. Here comes an interesting case where an anchor interviewing a star director just shocked everyone around.

As the director is promoting his latest film, an anchor of a big Telugu TV channel tried to flirt with him and the director is not giving in. This could be noticed in some of the interviews that are aired and that are available on YouTube. Actually, she’s tried to go swirls at each and every line of her and for sure she is hitting on the talented filmmaker.

Then after the cameras are switched off from recording, she asked him for a coffee, for which the director asked, “A coffee? Are you asking me a chance to act in my next movie? Come to my office then”. Then the anchor snapped back, “Don’t act smart. Are you a man? or not?”.

This happened in front of a couple of leading journalists and they are shocked by the lady anchor’s behaviour. The director is double the age of her and asking him for a date is little too much, at least in India, they felt.

“My wife knows if I’m a man or not and it doesn’t matter what am I as long as I’m making wonderful films,” the director said and walked out.

Samantha is winning appreciation for her innocent yet feisty performance as the village belle Rama Lakshmi in her latest hit ‘Rangasthalam’. The film was directed by Sukumar and he had said in several interviews that he was quite impressed with Samantha’s performance and dedication.

Now, it looks like Sam is banking on the goodwill she shares with Sukumar. A close source has informed us that Samantha is requesting Sukumar to do a film with Akhil. Sam is said to be determined to see her doting brother-in-law rocking Tollywood and has taken his responsibility.

Sam had closely watched how Sukumar had brought the best out of Ram Charan on Rangasthalam’s sets. She feels that a film with Sukumar in the early stages of Akhil’s career will help the Akkineni scion a great deal. Sukumar is yet to oblige the Akkineni daughter-in-law’s request.

After debuting with “Oka Manasu” couple of years ago, this chubby girl signed only a couple of small budgeted films and one of them is readying for release. Now latest buzz has that she will be sharing the screen with none other than ‘pedananna’ Megastar Chiranjeevi in the upcoming film “Sye Raa”.

A source revealed that Niharika already took part in a shoot for a couple of days and Chiranjeevi is so happy with her terrific performance. She will be seen as a work-maid in the house of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the source revealed. Acting with Megastar is a big dream come true and taking part in a film like Sye Raa is the biggest of the big thing. This news is currently being kept under the wraps as the mega family don’t want to create unnecessary hungama.

In what could be the most anticipated answer, actress Sri Reddy who made a huge fuss about Sekhar Kammula has posted something for him and then deleted it. All these days, the notion of mouthing whatever they like to get fame and then backtracking from those statements happened only with politicians. Now it looks like Cinema Actors are also joining the gang.

Other day with director Sekhar giving a stern warning of a legal action to actress Sri Reddy, she made surprising comments late in the night on her Facebook page. She stated that all these are just stories cooked up by her to entertain her Facebook fans. Also, she mentioned, “When you have not done wrong why do you worry?”. Looks like Sri Reddy will throw mud and then ask others not to react if they are innocent. How can she explain this?

But the twist comes here. She removed the post in no time and then added another post, where she indirectly accused that Sekhar Kammula will give only side-characters and friends roles to Telugu and Telangana girls, but picks up ‘north’ and ‘fair’ beauties for the lead character.
