Ram Charan has some sizable hits to his credit, but he hasn’t scored a blockbuster besides Magadheera.Fans expected him to take over the Tollywood throne from his father, but Cherry couldn’t live up their expectations as yet. In fact he has been lagging behind his cousin Allu Arjun in the race towards the number one spot.
Although Dhruva was a successful film, its full run collections are nowhere near to big hits of Tollywood. He should score a bit hit with Rangasthalam to reclaim his position.Also it is a litmus test for Sukumar who has not lived up to expectations post Aarya. Despite working with big stars, Sukumar is repeatedly failing to deliver a massive blockbuster.
Everything has fallen in place for Rangasthalam that is releasing today. Hype and buzz around the film is huge as it has grabbed full attention of film buffs with an intriguing setup.The film has the potential to take Charan and Sukumar to top if it generates positive word of mouth with this pre release buzz.

1980. Story begins with Prakash Raj meeting with an accident and Ram Charan trying to save him. Prakash Raj is admitted in hospital and Charan begs doctors to save him. No relationship between them is established yet.
Story moves to flashback…some months ago….
Ram Charan is now introduced as Chitti Babu, a rural guy with hearing deficiency. He can hear some sounds, some can’t.
Rangamma attha (Anasuya) is introduced.
Jagapathi Babu as village president is inroduced. And title song “Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana” comes.
Kumar Babu {Aadhi), Chitti Baby’s elder brother, comes down to Rangasthalam from Dubai.
Movie is going slow.
Chitti Babu accidentally sees Ramalaxmi (Samantha) while she is bathing. She uses choice of swearwords at him but for him it is love at first sight.
Here comes the popular song “Yentha Sakkagunnave…”. The song is shot beautifully in Papikondalu area.

Interval: Ram Charan dominates the show. His performance is highlight. Director Sukumar didn’t deviate from the main plot. So far good but is too rustic.
Second half begins with Charan staying in hospital taking care of Prakash Raj who is in coma.

Akhil Akkineni’s Hearty Wishes To Ram Charan
Akhil Akkineni is one of the closest friends of Ram Charan. Akhil addresses him ‘Annayya’ and Charan along with Chiranjeevi attended Hello pre release event to wish him luck.
Now Akhil took to Twitter on the eve of Rangasthalam release and wished Ram Charan, his ‘super sister in law’ Samantha and team Rangasthalam all the best.Akhil also posted an endearing photo of Charan and him along with the tweet.
“Here’s wishing chitti babu and the whole team of #Rangasthalam for their big release tomorrow. A big shout out to my super sister in law @Samanthaprabhu2 and one of my (favorite) directors sukumar garu. You guys have put your life in to it and I’m sure all your hard work will pay off,” Akhil tweeted.
Ex PM’s Phone Call To Pawan Kalyan?
With the Assembly elections in Karnataka are fast approaching and the EC has already released the election schedule, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan is the centre of the attraction. Pawan is being roped in to campaign and lure the Telugu voters who play a key role in the coming elections that is majorly fought between the ruling Congress, Opposition BJP and JD (S) parties.
Though it was not clear to which party Pawan would support and campaign in the highly densed assembly constituencies of the Telugu-speaking people, Pawan is curious to meet Telugus in karnataka.
It is learnt that JD (Secular) leader and former Prime minister HD Deve Gowda has already approached Pawan and sought his help in consolidating Telugu voters in support of his party in the ensuing elections. However, Pawan did not take any decision so far.
Speculations are doing the rounds that pawan will take up a whirlwind visit in some assembly constituencies and ascertain the political situation . Based on the outcome, Pawan will decide his course of action including his support to other parties in the election. If Pawan does, he will cement his tag as the Campaign Star in the politics.
Is He a Dog? KE Fumes on Vijay Sai Reddy
AP Deputy CM and one of the senior MLAs KE Krishna Murthy has come down heavily on YSR Congress Party’s Rajya Sabha MP and A-2 Vijay Sai Reddy who made derogatory remarks against Chandrababu Naidu and his dead parents.
Responding to Vijay Sai Reddy’s verbal diatribes, KE shot back, “Is Vijay Sai Reddy an MP or a Dog? How can he make such remarks against a chief minister and his parents who are no more?” “If it were someone else other than Chandrababu, they’d have beaten Vijay Sai Reddy with cheppals,” added KE stating that Chandrababu and TDP is against to violence and always stands by healthy democratic politics.
Earlier, Vijay Sai Reddy has touched the feet of PM Narendra Modi and claimed that it was part of Hindu tradition, culture. Chandrababu Naidu too objected and condemned Vijay Sai Reddy’s personal remarks against him and stated that his words against his dead parents have pained him. Chandrababu questioned back whether abusing his dead parents also come under his tradition, culture.
On the other hand, Vijay Sai Reddy maintained that he abides by his personal comments on Chandrababu. KE Krishna Murthy reiterated that BJP, Janasena and YSRCP have a nexus and trying to trouble Chandrababu Naidu.

Fake Clicks, Likes : Telugu Producers Are Cheated
These days, there has been a huge demand for YouTube records in Tollywood. In order to do such feats, several groups and batches have spurred up. The batches promise fake clicks, likes to their trailers, teasers as soon as they’re released within hours. Apparently, such ‘fake’ digital groups are charging an exorbitant sum of Rs 25 Lakh from each film on an average.
Even star heroes are said to be encouraging such acts of the groups. It is learnt that most of the fake clicks, likes are coming from China, Russia and Africa. Unlike the US, UK or Europe or Emirates where the Telugu-speaking population is considerable, the clicks and likes coming from China, Russia are raising several eyebrows.
The demand for orchestrated YouTube records in Tollywood from the star heroes, producers is leading to the encouragement of such groups. As soon as the groups receive the payment from the producers, they approach the Click Farms through which they get the job done.
The PR teams of the film would eventually push these records to journos who eventually carry the records. That’s how the boast of fake YouTube records are going on a full throttle in the Tollywood. While many claim that they get organic traffic, the reality is totally different.

#NTR Picked This Date Because..
Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally launched the biopic of Sr NTR today at Rama Krishna Studios and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu graced the occasion. A lavish stage was set up with a large throne in the middle and the makers have completed the Muhurtam Shot. On this occasion, Balayya has revealed the reason for launching this prestigious project on March 29.
Addressing the gathering, the actor shared that on this particular day, the highest number of prints for Patalabhairavi were allocated on March 29th, even though it officially released on March 15. And NTR’s first ever colour film Deshoddarakulu also released on March 29th only. Also, Lava Kusa released on this day as well. Also, 29th is the Formation Day of Telugudesam party. Balayya revealed that all these memories of this special day made his plan for Muhurtam shot of this prestigious project on this day.
However, Balayya made a stark remark on the present generation of actors saying that their generation has tough thinking and always feels passionate to deliver something new. He praised that hero Rajasekhar is looking young with each passing day due to that passion only.
Who Has Guts Than Balayya To Do This?
Whatever his political differences are, Nandamuri Balakrishna is maintaining a cordial relation with Mega Family for a long time. Not just he has attended #Mega60 birthday bash, but he has also invited Megastar Chiru as Chief Guest for the launch of Gautamiputra Satakarni. And here is an extension of it.
While Chiranjeevi is busy shooting for #SyeRaa, the presence of Allu Arvind at the muhurat event of “NTR” biopic fulfilled that deficit though it’s not 100% replacement. Taking to the occasion, Arvind said, “Who has the guts to produce a biopic on NTR and to act in the role of NTR, if not Balayya?”. Before that, he revealed that once Telugu people are called Madrasis but it is NTR who got us this “Telugodu” status.
After looking at the muhurat shot taken on Balayya, where he uttered the lengthy mythical and poetic Telugu dialogue with ease, it looks like Arvind’s words are damn true. If not Balayya, definitely other actors will need to work very hard to do justice to the role.
Furthermore, Arvind added, “Three years ago, this film’s co-producers Vishnu Induri revealed the story. Then we felt like Balayya will suit well for the role but never thought the film would materialise. It’s feeling great”.
