Former actress Pooja Dadwal, who acted in good number of movies in the 90s including pairing with Superstar Salman Khan in 1995 movie “Veergati”, is reportedly very ill and waiting for financial aid from him.

According to reports, Pooja is suffering from Tuberculosis and has been admitted in a hospital in Mumbai for the past two weeks. She has tried to get in touch with Salman so as to ask for financial aid but Salman has not responded yet. She has reportedly sent him a video message and apprised him of her medical condition.

She claims that her financial condition is so bad that she depends on others for even a cup of tea. She is still waiting for Salman Khan’s response.

Meanwhile, some concerned fans took to Twitter and requested Salman to help her.

The role of Megastar Chiranjeevi in Ram Charan’s films is indisposable. His involvement starts right from finalizing projects to deciding the runtime of final copy. Having said that, Rangasthalam can be attributed as Chiru’s least involved Ram Charan-starrer.

After Chiru gave his nod to Sukumar’s story, Ram Charan gave the intelligent director a complete freehand. As per reports, neither he involved nor he let Chiranjeevi involve in any creative aspect of the film. Charan trusted Sukumar’s conviction and vision completely.

When the film’s title was announced as ‘Rangasthalam’, rumors did rounds that Chiru was not pleased with it. Charan however voted for Sukumar’s decision. Most recently, after watching the final cut, Chiru reportedly suggested that the film’s runtime is too long, nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes, and asked the makers to cut some portions, stating that audience of this generation don’t sit in theatres for such long duration. Even in this case, Charan backed Sukumar’s final cut and politely ignored his father’s suggestion.

Rangasthalam is completely Sukumar’s film (off screen) and Charan’s film (on screen). Having utmost belief in Sukumar’s vision, Charan ignored even his father’s rich expertise and did not let anyone interfere in the creative aspects. With such freedom, which is rarely given to directors by star heroes, Sukumar has filmed whatever he had envisioned.

Actress Sai Pallavi, who impressed with her Telangana accent in the blockbuster film, “Fidaa”, will once again turn a Telangana girl for a new film.

We have reliably learnt that Sai Pallavi has signed a new heroine oriented Telugu film. It will be her second such film after “Kanam” in which she played the central character. Director Venu Udugula, whose first directorial, “Needi Nadi Oke Katha” releases this Friday, will direct Pallavi in the new film.

Sai Pallavi’s stardom and the everlasting image she has created as a lively Telangana girl have made her the first choice of makers. The film will roll later this summer.

We have already reported that Saptagiri, the star comedian turned lead hero, will do his third film as protagonist in Eshwar Reddy’s (Siddhu from Srikakulam fame) direction. The film is currently in pre-production.

It is heard that the project got revived after almost from the stage of being shelved. Saptagiri’s high remuneration has been cited as the reason for the producer backing out. As per the buzz in inside circles, Saptagiri demanded Rs 1 Cr remuneration for the film.

Taking into account that his last film, ‘Saptagiri LLB’ was a colossal flop and his debut film, ‘Saptagiri Express’ barely broke even, the producer refused to pay such high remuneration. The deadlock between the duo left the project in doldrums for some time.

The film got revived only after Saptagiri took a back step and asked the producer to give him a Percentage in Profits instead of upfront fee. The producer got convinced as he wouldn’t have to pay a hefty remuneration upfront and should pay the hero’s fee, which is the lion’s share of any film’s budget, only if the film brings profits.

Saptagiri on the other hand has immense confidence on the project and believes that he can pocket more than Rs 1 Cr on profit sharing basis. For now, its a win win situation for both.

Akkineni scion, Akhil has recently ended the huge suspense regarding his third film, by making it official that Venky Atluri of ‘Tholi Prema’ fame is the chosen one. Is the project ready to take off anytime soon? Unlikely, as per the prevalent speculations in inside circles.

In general, the directors who make successful debut, feel immense pressure to prove that they are not fluke and hence take significant time before starting their second film. Sankalp Reedy, Tharun Bhascker, Sandeep Vanga etc. have all done the same. However, Venky Atluri’s second film, #Akhil3, has been announced just about a month after the release of his first directorial, ‘Tholi Prema’.

It is heard that Venky hasn’t yet completed the script work for his second film and that he wishes to take any further step only after he is satisfied with the final draft. Meanwhile, Akhil is said to be worried about the delay that is likely to happen. He can’t look for other options as the project has been officially announced. He doesn’t want to hasten Venky either as it may result in the young director going to sets with half baked script.

That’s a strange dilemma Akhil is facing!

During the shooting of Rangasthalam, Upasana had spent most of her time with her husband Mr C at Rajahmundry and few other places in the Godavari. Also when the shoot is in Hyderabad, she made a point to spend special food items to the Rangasthalam team. We know that Megastar’s wife Surekha was also present at the shooting spots of Khaidi No. 150 for a few days.

Mega daughter Sushmitha is already busy working as costume designer for mega heroes like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Varun Tej. We also hear that Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Srija is attending the shooting spot of her husband Kalyan Kanuganti’s debut film. Similarly, when Fidaa is being shot in Nizamabad, both mother Padmaja and sister Niharika, are spotted on the sets, spending time with Varun Tej.

Treading in the same path, Sneha Reddy was spotted on the sets of Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India with Allu Arjun. As she wants to catch up with the last two days of the shoot, she’s present at the spot watching her husband do a Surya. If it is Sai Dharam Tej’s shooting, we can easily find his mother Vijaya Durga around. We heard that throughout the shoot of Inttelligent movie, she’s there all the time.
