In a shocking remark, Pawan Kalyan too spoke in the same tone, manner of YSRCP’s Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Although general elections are far ahead, Pawan has begun his political campaign of his party at the Jana Sena Maha Sabha, the formation day of the party, held in Guntur.

“Take money from candidates who distribute. Not just Rs 2000, if possible take Rs 5000. But vote for Janasena,” said Pawan.  What is striking is that YS Jagan too made similar remarks earlier during 2014 polls, Nandyal by election. Pawan’s speech reminisced Jagan to many. This is not all.

Asking the people of all walks of life such as students, youth, women,senior citizens, Pawan asked everyone to vote only for Janasena in the coming elections. Pawan said that he would give tickets to young, sincere, hard working youth to contest elections from his party.

Showcasing sympathy on physically challenged people, Pawan announced to provide house, employment security and if needed a helper to physically challenged. Pawan also smartly raised the issue of his daughter, son who are Christians. Stating that he doesn’t have any such favouritsm towards any caste or religion, Pawan also specially mentioned Muslim youth. He promised them of taking care of them.

With this, Pawan has sent a strong signal to all sections of people in AP to vote only for Janasena in the next general elections, stating that he is not for CM post but for people. However, one has to see whether people believe in Pawan or not.

Responding to Pawan’s acerbic attack, TDP’s spokesperson and senior leader Babu Rajendra Prasad has condemned Pawan’s allegations. Describing Pawan’s accusations as “baseless”, Babu Rajendra Prasad said that TDP would strongly react to such personal attacks on its senior leadership.

Maintaining cool, composed nature, Babu Rajendra Prasad said that it was not Pawan Kalyan’s words but people around him have misled him, misinformed him.

Not stopping there Babu Rajendra Prasad said that Pawan has just read out Sakshi newspaper that consciously spread “baseless rumours”, “allegations” against TDP with “political motivation”.

Rajendra Prasad opined that Pawan has made such strong comments in order to wipe out the image that he is the supporter of TDP and close to Chandrababu. “In rush to erase the public image of TDP supporter, Pawan has read out Sakshi news paper which spreads baseless allegations,” said Babu Rajendra Prasad adding that people have trust, faith in Chandrababu who has been doing clean politics. Rajendra Prasad also said that allegations against TDP were “cooked up” by YSRCP for their “political gain”.

Countering to Pawan’s comments, Rajendra Prasad shot back at Pawan questioning that why was he silent all these years if TDP or Chandrababu is doing “mistakes” according to him. On the whole, Pawan’s speech at Jana Sena Maha Sabha in Guntur is expected to create a stir between the supporters of TDP, Janasena.

In what can be the biggest volte face, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has teared into Chandrababu Naidu and TDP government accusing it of turning the state into ‘Corruption Andhra Pradesh’. Lashing out at Naidu directly, Pawan criticized each and every act of Chandrababu, his government.

Starting from sand mafia to Uddhanam to violence against lady government official to Rayalseema’s backwardness to the problems of Prakasam, Uttar Andhra districts, Pawan has not left out a single issue to blame Chandrababu.

In a direct attack, Pawan alleged Chandrababu of doing power politics to make his son Lokesh as the next successor of the state. Alleging Lokesh of involving in corruption, Pawan asked Naidu whether his son Lokesh’s corruption didn’t come to his notice.

Regretting his support to TDP during 2014 polls, Pawan said that Chandrababu has totally failed to deliver what he has promised to the new state. Pawan even raised the aspect of Chandrababu turning emotional in Assembly, and shot back Naidu whether he wasn’t feeling bad about the other issues in the state.

“Avakasalu Kondarikena? Andariki. Adhikaram Kondarikena? Andariki,” said Pawan rebuking TDP to the core reminding them that the power, opportunities shouldn’t be centred, limited only to a few. At the same time, Pawan didn’t even spare YSRCP and criticized them for not attending Assembly sessions. On the whole, Pawan’s stunning u turn to hit back at TDP is surprising many including political pundits.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Wednesday continued his attack on opposition parties and its leaders.

The TRS supreme briefed on various development schemes his government has undertaken in last four years and said, ‘while united AP have utilized capital expenditure of 1,29,683 Crores during 10 years of Congress government, Telangana region has not even received 25% of total funds. Whereas our TRS government had spent 1,24,966 crores in last 4 years. These are official figures, and anybody can verify it. That’s the achievement of our government with commitment.’

During his criticism on opposition party Congress, KCR said that the national party has snubbed the former MP Vijaya Shanthi, who switched over her loyalties from TRS party after deferring with KCR during state separation. In the past, KCR declared Vijaya Shanti as his sister but they both separated and took different paths later.

‘Had we compromised on state capital Hyderabad, we would have achieved Telangana much before. But, we neither compromised special package not Telangana without Hyderabad. If Congress had come to power in 2014, they sure would have damaged the spirit of Telangana. Also, this Congress party had been trying to weaken the strength of our government but we are devoted and nothing can dampen us,’ said KCR.

Finally, the Chief Minister reiterated that his government is working with 100% commitment and there is no red tape and no illegal sanctions in last four years. All the tenders are issued based on online filing and companies belonging to Komatireddy also grabbed some projects in the similar process, KCR added.

In what can be a major jolt to the incumbent BJP that is ruling both UP and the Centre, the by poll result of UP and Bihar come as a rude shock. PM Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath have received a blow from the by-poll results in Uttar Pradesh, India’s largest and politically most significant state. This is when both the central and state government are under BJP’s control. This shows us both the fragility of politics and robustness of democracy.

Just one year ago, the BJP had swept the UP state assembly elections with a record majority by defeating SP, Congress, BSP. However, within just a year, the political situation seems to have changed completely as BJP is on the verge of losing Gorakhpur, Phulpur – the seats of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Sushil Modi.

SP candidate Nagendra Pratap Singh Patel has taken an unassailable lead of 40,000 votes in Phulpur by-election after the 25th round of counting. In Gorakhpur,  SP candidate Praveen Kumar Nishad is leading by 28,372 votes against nearest rival Upendra Dutt Shukla of BJP.

RJD candidate Kumar Krishna Mohan alias Uday Yadav has won Jehanabad bypoll. The Jehanabad Assembly seat fell vacant after the death of RJD Legislator Mundrika Yadav. BJP candidate Rinki Rani Pandey has won from Bhabhua.

On the whole, the poll drubbing of BJP in UP, Bihar is seen as an anti-Modi wave in the country, ahead of crucial assembly elections in Rajasthan, Karnataka and the next general elections for parliament.

Amidst grave injustice meted out to AP by the Centre, Pawan Kalyan’s public meeting in Guntur commemorating Janasena party’s formation day is the cynosure of all eyes. The most eagerly awaited aspect is Pawan’s speech at the event as scores of fans, followers, party activists are looking out for Pawan to unfold Janasena’s agenda, his future political course of action.

Inside info has it that, in his speech, Pawan is going to tear into PM Modi whom he had strongly supported during 2014 polls. Pawan is expected to talk in detail at length about the gross injustice meted out to AP and how AP’s genuine demands have fallen onto the deaf ears of the Centre.

Buzz is that Pawan is likely to give a few slogans to motivate, inspire youth, people in support of the Special Category Status and also against BJP. It’s learnt that Pawan has already prepared an emotional speech covering many crucial aspects. Also, Pawan Kalyan is expected to say apology to people for supporting Modi in 2014 and announce that he is regretting his decision.

At the same time, Pawan would also attack the Congress which was main reason for the sad state of AP. Pawan may give call against national political parties in his speech. Let’s wait and see. As of now, all eyes are on Pawan’s speech.

Poor organization by the organizers led to ruckus at the Janasena formation day being held in Guntur district with much ado. The delay in the arrival of Pawan Kalyan, crowd thronged in large numbers resulted in a stampede as mob tried to come close to the dais.

Many of the bouncers, security personnel were seems to be the inexperienced volunteers who were spotted with sticks to control the mob. All these efforts have failed resulting in the broke of stampede. However, cops stepped into action and tried to pacify the situation.

Unlike disciplined political parties such as TDP who have various committees, organized structure to look into minute details, organizing events involving large crowds, Janasena suffered with its teething problems.

Pawan, who was supposed to arrive by 5 PM, has come to the venue opposite Acharya Nagarjuna University by over 1 hour late. Yet, the fans, crowds have waited patiently to catch glimpse of Pawan, his speech.
