Mega family hero Varun Tej, who has given his consent to act in a multistarrer alongside senior hero Venkatesh, is going to make it a twin Mega-Daggubati association next year as he will be collaborating with Rana Daggubati in another film.

Director Prabu Solomon, who will direct Rana in his ambitious adventure film, “Haathi Mere Saathi”, has confirmed that Varun Tej is playing a character as important as Rana’s in the trilingual to be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. ‘Adavi Ramudu’ is the title under consideration for the Telugu version.

Rana surprised his fans by releasing his look from the film on New Year’s Eve. He will essay the role of Bandev, an environmental activist in the film, but the director chose to keep Varun’s character under wraps for now. Meanwhile, fans are delighted that two Mega-Daggubati multistarrers will be releasing next year.

Internationally-acclaimed cinematographer Alphonse Roy, who has shot films for BBC, National Geographic and Discovery, is on board to crank the camera for this massive project. The film will be shot in Thailand and across India.

Making it the first of its kind film in Telugu cinema history, ace director Rajamouli has chalked out a magnanimous plan for his next project after Baahubali franchisee. Sharing a picture of him with NTR and Charan together, the creative director broke the internet with his future plan indirectly revealed.

From a time, script work of this interesting Mega-Nandamuri multi starrer movie is going on with Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli and team working on it relentlessly. According to the grapevine, Rajamouli has already fixed a date to roll this movie. While the exact date is not yet known, they are likely to take the film to floors from October 2018. By that time, Ram Charan will be wrapping his work on Boyapati Sreenu’s film while Jr NTR will also complete most awaited Trivikram’s film. Aiming a 2019 release, Rajamouli is making sure that this film will be a magnum opus of all sorts, but without much of visual effects.

Popular artist Ghazal Srinivas was arrested this morning on the complaint of a woman who accused him of sexual harassment.

Punjagutta (Hyderabad) police have reportedly confirmed the arrest of Srinivas. A woman who works in AalayaVani Web Radio, owned by Srinivas himself, has filed a case on him citing he had harassed her both sexually and mentally for long time.
Acting on her complaint, the police have conducted a preliminary inquiry, and arrested Srinivas after reportedly finding incriminating evidence against him. Further details regarding this case are to be known.

If the ongoing buzz in film circles is to be believed, Sukumar and Co. have decided to reshoot a few portions of Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan in lead role.

It may be recalled that the unit of Rangasthalam had finished a lengthy schedule in Rajahmundry a few months ago. Owing to the unbearable heat wave in last summer, the shoot wad cancelled suddenly, and reports emerged later that the remaining portion was canned at a specially erected set in Hyderabad.

The latest buzz suggest that makers were not happy with the particular portions filmed in Rajahmundry, and that they have decided to re-shoot them. And, the new schedule for the same may commence tomorrow in Rajahmundry.

Going by these speculations, the reshoot will add further delay to the film, which has been in making for almost a year. Some songs and patch work are still to be completed. Makers aim to release the highly anticipated film in March end, 2018.

Noted cinematographer Nizar Shafi, who impressed with his brilliant camera work in films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, Nenu Local and Mahanubhavudu, is making his directorial debut with an all-chick flick. He has penned the story as well as cranking camera besides calling the shots.

Reports say that Shafi has roped in Anjali, Anisha Ambrose, Nandita Swetha of ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada fame and popular Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath for his debut film. All the four beautiful ladies will have equal importance in the film, which is an investigative thriller. The film’s shooting has already commenced.

Makers are planning to make an official announcement very soon. They are said to be heavily banking on the casting coup the cinematographer-turned-director has pulled off. The film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.
