Anushka seems to be delivering a powerful performance yet again after Arundhati and Baahubali (Devasena). Thaman’s background music deserves special mention. He nailed it. Touted to be a horror-thriller, Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame has meticulously directed the film.

Praising Hyderabad, India President Ram Nath Kovind said it is simply majestic as the Hyderabad is the city of biryani, badminton and Bahubali – giving the country delicious food, a string of badminton champions and films that are an expression of Indian soft power. Telugu cuisine is also very popular in Delhi, particularly the pickles.
Participating in the valedictory function of World Telugu Conference, the President said Telugu has often been called a bridge language between the south and the north of the country. Like the Telugu people, it has been assimilative and has accepted and embraced words, thoughts and ideas from other cultures. Telugu has incorporated words from Sanskrit, Arabic, Urdu and English, among other languages.

The President congratulated Telangana Government for achieving first rank in Ease Of Doing Business. “For a new state such as Telangana to make rapid strides and show such potential as a business and industrial location is creditable”, he said.
‘I Want to Work With Pawan Till I Get Old’
Well-known actor and noted Bollywood personality Boman Irani has made interesting comments during the audio launch of Agnyaathavaasi.
Boman said that Trivikram has been giving him ‘old characters’ in his films. He said he would like to act with the same hero, same director and the same team again and again till he become old.
Boman said when he first got to know that he got an offer for a Telugu film, he posed only two questions, “Who is the director?” When he was told it is Trivikram Srinivas, he asked the second question, “Who is the hero?” As soon as Boman was told that it is Pawan Kalyan, he said, “No More Questions. I don’t want to know what is my role or script, I’m doing this film.”
Boman said Attarintiki Daaredi (full-fledged Telugu debut) was one of the nicest cinematic experiences he got and he loved the work of Pawan and Trivikram then itself.
“This year (2017), I’ve spent more days in Hyderabad than Mumbai. The city has adopted me,” Boman said saying that he would like to work with Pawan, Trivikram till he become old.
Crazy Fan Shocks Pawan, Powerstar Shocks Him Back
At the audio launch function of “Agnyaathavasi” movie, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is surely the centre of attraction, but for one fan, he’s more than that. And the way that fan behaved shocked everyone, including the security team of Pawan and the bouncers placed at the venue.
The moment Pawan ascended the stage, a crazy fan actually stormed from the front, has fallen on Pawan’s feet and then started hugging him. But in a split second, a couple of bouncers and others rushed to Pawan and then dragged the fan aside. If that’s a shocker, then the way Pawan responded is another shocker.
Asking his team not to drag the boy away in that rude manner, immediately Pawan asked them to bring the fan to him. Though the bouncers are in no mood to listen even to Pawan and trying to kick the fan out, Pawan stressed again to bring him. After the youngster came, Pawan asked what is his request and when the youngster told that he wants a selfie with the Powerful hero, he simply obliged.
Later Pawan asked to escort the youngster down the stage not without scolding him or hitting him. And that humility of a big star is so adorable, isn’t it?

Allu Vs Anil: Issue Sorted In A Kshanam
Apparently, the news of “Okka Kshanam” facing plagiarism allegations has stunned tinsel town as director VI Anand who made a film like Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada impressed audiences big time. Especially when it is said that Korean film “Parallel Life” is officially remade in Telugu as “2 Manamiddaram” and then Allu Sirish’s film a free-make of it.
Reports have come that producer Anil Sunkara, who has got the remake rights of Parallel Life is actually contemplating to take legal action on Sirish’s film producers. But the issue got sorted out in a kshanam (second) over a table.
A couple of hours earlier, producer Anil Sunkara tweeted, “Had a pleasant chat with Vi Anand &Chakri of Okka Kshanam. All the concerns are sorted out &cleared. After knowing the entire content of d film, i am sure that its gonna be a big hit.Advanced congrats to @AlluSirish @directorvianand nd Chakri. Looking farward 2 working with dem (sic)”. Should we now read this as Okka Kshanam is not even a distant copy of

Bangalore Event: Sunny Gives Up On Twitter
Finally, it looks like Sunny Leone has understood Indian politics better. Citing the way crowds thronged to catch a glimpse of her in Kerala, the police of Karnataka stated that they will not be able to provide security cover to both people and the actress in case if she comes to Bangalore.
Actually, this hottie was supposed to perform at a New Year event in Bangalore like the way many actresses take up such 31st Night assignments. Quite surprisingly, Karnataka’s agitators warned that Sunny’s arrival is a spoiler of culture, while Police felt that it will be a security issue. After taking everything into consideration, the actress who has returned from her USA trip decided to call the even quits.
Taking to her micro-blogging site, Sunny Leone tweeted, “Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Years event, my team & I feel, the safety of the people should always come first, therefore, I cannot attend.God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year! (sic)”.
Many labelled this as a failure of the system that police have given up to the whims and fancies of some moral inducing guys and political goons. One of a netizen’s tweet read, “Shameful that you guys criticize law and order in UP but can’t even manage an event in Bangalore, Chodo yeh double standards & get your act together on this one”.
And Sunny has re-tweeted a slew of tweets that criticized the way Congress government in Karnataka and Bangalore police are functioning.

Tollywood 2017: Producer Of The Year
Dil Raju has set a benchmark for all the producers by making six movies in this year. Every film has turned out to be profitable to him.
MCA, which is due for release on this Thursday also is a profitable film for Dil Raju even before the first show is screened.He opened the account with Sankranthi blockbuster Shatamanam Bhavati that was released against two of the biggest heavyweights.
He followed it up with Nenu Local that released just three weeks after Shatamanam. His next release DJ didn’t bring profits to its buyers and in fact many of them have lost some money on it.
However, it was followed up by Fidaa that turned out to be a humongous blockbuster. Raja The Great also did okay on the commercial front. A few buyers couldn’t recover their investment but it was a profitable film for Raju.He is hoping to sign off the year with MCA on a high note. Irrespective of its commercial outcome,

Actor Nani, who is having best phase of his career, doesn’t seem to be entirely happy. The issue is not with his career.

Nani is largely non-controversial star in Tollywood and until recently not much rumors were written about him.
“I am aware that being a star we have to face criticism and also have to handle gossiping. As long as they criticise or bitch about my movies or performances, my attitude, it is fine.
But the moment they write baseless news about personal life, it hurts deeply. I went through similar incident recently,” Nani said.
He didn’t elaborate much but the actor said a website wrote baseless personal gossip that hurt him badly. He requested media to maintain dignity while writing such news.
“Gossip is fine but not baseless rumors about personal lives,” he asserts.
