Theatre sharing is the bigger issue these days when multiple films are hitting the marquee on the same date. Biggies are coming into an accord much earlier and then fixing their release date, but this Friday three films with equal capacity are locking horns. There is a ‘hurt’ angle to this happening, as per inside sources.

Like we already said earlier, in the case of Nene Raju Nenu Mantri targeting an 11th August release, Dil Raju is quite unhappy that Suresh Babu is coming on that date when two of his distribution ventures LIE and Jaya Janaki Nayaka is also in the race. Speaking of the same thing, Suresh Babu said that he’s also unhappy with the three-way clash. But why he’s releasing NRNM then on that date?

During the talks to reach a compromise, Suresh Babu requested Dil Raju to back off and promised him more theatres for LIE or Janaki Nayaka if he comes at a latter time. When both parties are not budging, reportedly Dil Raju is said to have pointed at budgets of these movies. They reportedly stated that LIE and Jaya Janaki Nayaka are made with superior budget than Nene Raju Nene Mantri and that’s what hurt Suresh Babu, say insiders.

Not only Suresh has locked the same date post this meeting, but he’s also allocating many theatres to Nene Raju Nene Mantri thereby threatening others. More than LIE and Jaya Janaki Nayaka, now Rana’s film is occupying in many theatres which will give a huge edge in terms of collections. Take Prasad IMAX for example, on release day they are screening 10 shows of NRNM, 8 shows of LIE and 7 shows of JJN and now think how much variation single screen allocations will see.

Bollywood young actor Prateik Babbar who failed to make it big in Bollywood revealed about his destructive past.

He said that he has been addicted to drugs right from his childhood and he tried each and every drug in his life. It was quite destructive but he felt quite happy after coming out from the life of drugs. Prateik Babbar is the son of legendary actors Raj Babbar and Smitha Patel. He made his debut with Ek Deewana Tha and all his Bollywood outings ended up as disappointments.

During a recent interview, he said “I faced many challenges in my life and to face the pressure, I got addicted to drugs during my schooling. The biggest challenge lies in defeating drugs and I request everyone not to get addicted to drugs. I was so much addicted to drugs that I tasted each and every drug. I met many specialized doctors in this process and I am finally out”.

With all the actors occupied with couple of interesting projects each, sensational filmmaker VV Vinayak had to wait for the right opportunity. He locked Supreme star Sai Dharam tej for his next and the movie has been launched officially yesterday in Hyderabad.

The movie is said to be a mass entertainer and Lavanya Tripathi is the female lead. The regular shoot of this untitled movie will start from the first week of September. This film is quite crucial for Tej as he has been suffering with a series of debacles.

Vinayak took his time and wrapped up the draft of the film. Akula Siva penned the script and C Kalyan will be producing the film. The movie has been launched with a pooja ceremony and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao clapped the film. Megastar Chiranjeevi blessed the entire unit after the event.

Vinayak is in plans to bounce back with a massive hit. After a debacle like Akhil, the success of Khaidi No 150 did not bring enough credit to the top director. We have to see how the film shapes up and if it saves both the director and hero from the slump.

Despite the film being a commercial failure, both director Teja and hero Mahesh Babu won quite a lot of critical acclaim for the movie “Nijam”. Especially the director’s hardcore way of touching corruption and politics has impressed many though they compared it with Bharateeyudu movie.

During the promotions of Nene Raju Nene Mantri at various radio stations, Teja was continuously asked one question by many callers about this film. Will he do a sequel to Nijam movie? Our director has his best answer saved for this question. “Yes, I’ll honestly do Nijam’s sequel or prequel whatever, it will be titled ‘Idhi Nijam Kaadu’. And the film will not have Mahesh Babu”, said Teja, while promoting his latest movie.

Though many feel that Mahesh has to do the sequel to it, Teja has his own reasons for it. “Nijam is liked by all and they are asking for a sequel, only because of its content, not because of the hero. So I’ll make another film that will be talked about its content”, Teja added.

Right now, only if Teja scores a big blockbuster with Nene Raju Nenu Mantri, the sequel might workout with Mahesh Babu. Otherwise, he has to pick newcomers only, because such a big star won’t risk with this director right now.

On the other hand, Teja promised that NRNM is going to be a kick-ass film for all those who love to hear about politics going on in the state. “I’ve not left any single politician right now in our state and thrown satires on them all. If you love politics, you’ll love Nene Raju Nene Mantri quite well” he quips.

Of course, Kajal Agarwal never does like a Nayantara by avoiding promotions of a movie saying that I’ve done my job and there is no need to promote a film that way. But this hot lady never appears too much in media circles and other press events promoting the movie.

In the recent times, even when Kajal Agarwal has done some biggies, she’s seen promoting those films only for fewer days. Things are not the same however now, as she is literally present at every single event related to Nene Raju Nene Mantri promotions. From running to various TV channels, to attend college events and other TV shows, Kajal is quite active on the promotion circuits. Wonder why?

Some sources from industry are quipping that Kajal is not doing these extra promotions for free, but she’s charging an additional 30 lakhs from Suresh Babu to promote the film this way. But Suresh is known for spending less and spending wise, will he budge to such demand is the question.

Whether that is true or false, Kajal is not having any big film on hand at the moment in Telugu. So to make sure that more filmmakers, both directors and producers approach her, she should definitely project her value-added services big time. And hence such a huge promotion for Rana Daggubati’s flick. What say Kajal?

Bubbly beauty Praneetha has been struggling to make her place in the list of top actresses of Telugu cinema. Though she made it big in Kannada, Telugu filmmakers restricted her for the roles of second heroine which did not go well with her.

She is not in a mood to sign such films and she shifted her focus towards Kannada again. The actress has interesting projects in pipeline. Praneetha is said to be quite calculative and the actress is said to have launched a new pub named ‘Boot Legger’ in Bengaluru last year.

Young actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are all set for a grand wedding that will take place on October 6th and 7th in Goa. The wedding will take place according to both the traditions of Hindu and Christian culture.

The actor is now gearing up for the third release this year with Mahanubhavudu which is in final stages of shoot. Maruthi is directing the movie which is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer.

The makers are keen on wrapping up the post-production work and release Mahanubhavudu during Dasara if NTRs Jai Lava Kusa walks out of the race. The movie’s work has been pending and there are talks that the film may not hit the screens during Dasara.

If Tarak walks out of the race, Mahanubhavudu will hit the screens on September 21st. Mehreen is the female lead and UV Creations are bankrolling Mahanubhavudu.

Producer-distributor-exhibitor and Studio owner Suresh Babu-owned theatre was caught in fire and burnt. The incident was reported in Chirala of Prakasam district. Suresh Mahal theatre in Chirala was totally burnt due to a short-circuit.

The short-circuit occurred when a few workers were making repairs in the cinema. Huge fire said to have erupted due to the short-circuit and in no time, it spread wildly engulfing the entire cinema. Fortunately, no one is there in the cinema hall as it was under repair.

The loss is estimated to be around Rs 2 Crores. Usually, Suresh Babu takes utmost care when it comes to his properties and ensures that his staff work perfectly. Despite the necessary measures, the unfortunate incident was reported incurring loss.

Suresh Babu is yet to respond on the incident. Currently, he is busy with the release of Nene Raju Nene Mantri (August 11, 2017 release) that is co-produced by himself and starring his son Rana Daggubati.
