What is Defect in Mahanubhavudu?
After delivering a remarkable film to Nani in form of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy which see Nani suffering from “memory loss”, director Maruthi is attempting something new and different ‘defect’ on Sharwanand in Mahanubhavudu.
Sharwa will be seen as a person with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which sees the protagonist with too much obsession for neatness, cleanliness. Interestingly, Maruthi is now churning this to generate fun like how he did in BBM. Sharwa essays the role of Anand and Mehreen of KVPG will be seen as his love interest. Maruthi has also holding up a suspense for the second-half which he is not revealing in the teaser. The film’s teaser will be unveiled tomorrow (Aug 24) by its makers.
Except a song, the film’s shoot has been wrapped up and even the dubbing work has been done for the first half and re-recording work has begun. UV Creations who is producing the film has locked its release date as September 29 competing with the bigwigs such as Mahesh’s Spyder and NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa.
Nayantara to pocket Rs 7 crore in two films?
No doubt, dusky actress Nayantara is on a roll these days. Close on the heels of signing a big-ticket film with Balakrishna, the actress is doing another biggie ‘Sye Raa’ with megastar Chiranjeevi which was launched two days ago. Despite getting offers with seasoned stars, the ‘Babu Bangaram’ star has not reduced her remuneration, since both the stars showed more interest to work with her, rather than other way round. Hence, the actress is going to pocket Rs 7 crore (Rs 3.5 cr per film) in next few months to fatten her bank balance.
Nayan reportedly wants to do films with big Telugu stars and not every other film. She wants to retain her exclusivity and brand image and picking roles accordingly. Despite doing more Telugu films, the actress hasn’t appointed a manager to handle her work in T’wood. She seems to be adept in choosing meaty roles and also understands the fan following Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna enjoy among Telugu viewers.
It seems to be true, as the actress has been making waves in T-town with her scintillating performances in films like ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ and ‘Simha’, barring a dud like ‘Babu Bangaram’. With 50-plus Telugu stars finding to difficult to find heroines with matured look, Nayantara is going to be on demand for some more time.
A British Guard Who Hates, Loves Uyyalawada
Megastar’s next movie Syeraa Narasimha Reddy has been announced other day with huge enthusiasm and excitement. Even cinema lovers also received it with the same passion and enjoyed the first look motion poster of the title. And what excited them more are the exceptional star-cast of the film that boasts from Amitabh Bachhan to Vijay Sethupathi.
Critically acclaimed and sensational Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathy has been roped in to play a pivotal role in this film. This turned out to be a huge sensation across Tamil media as they wondered what made this acclaimed hero who is in the top gear of his career to sign this film. With many questions coming his way, the actor is overwhelmed now.
We hear that Vijay Sethupathi has been asked to play a British guard in the film whose character will have negative shades. The character will then move on to a positive side as the film progresses. His character starts opposing Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy but later he ends up supporting him and loving to die for him. Vijay Sethupathy has been completely impressed with the role and he signed it immediately after a narration. He even is much excited for sharing the screen with Megastar Chiranjeevi with a challenging role.
Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, and Kicha Sudeep will be playing other prominent roles in the film. Surender Reddy will helm the 100 crore budgeted Syeraa Narasimha Reddy and Nayanthara is the female lead, while AR Rahman is composing music.
Balayya Can Make Amitabh President?
Balakrishna has agreed to do Krishna Vamsi’s Rythu on condition that Amitabh Bachchan would be part of the film which requires a larger-than-life person to essay a prominent role in the film. However, Amitabh had gently turned down the role in the film for his own reasons that were revealed later.
The role was all about how an Indian President praises the Best Farmer (to be played by Balakrishna) and hand over him the award. It is very crucial role for the script and no one other than Amitabh could pull off, felt Balayya.
Krishna Vamsi along with Balayya had met Amitabh on the sets of Sarkar 3 and narrated him the role. Amitabh was quite impressed but he couldn’t take it up since he was one of the contenders for the top post. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly had Amitabh in the mind and wanted him to nominate for a key post – either President or Vice President. Amidst that situation, Amitabh said no to Balayya and the film subsequently didn’t materialise as Balayya was adamant on having Amitabh.
Now that Amitabh has ‘missed’ the chance to occupy the top slot in real, he would have no qualms to take up the role on screen now. If Balayya and Krishna Vamsi could meet Amitabh again, probably, the film could materialise.
Since Amitabh has agreed to do a pivotal role in Chiru’s 151st film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the chances of Amitabh giving nod to Balayya’s film are also high. However, it all depends on Balayya and Krishna Vamsi. Since Vamsi is at the rock bottom of his career, especially after Nakshatram’s disaster, it is doubtful whether Balayya and producers would encourage Krishna Vamsi.
Shriya is Not Heroine, Only for Business!
As per insiders, Shriya Saran is not the heroine in Balayya and Puri Jagannadh’s Paisa Vasool. Shriya has been roped in for a prominent role in the movie that takes the story forward. However, she is not playing Balayya’s romantic interest in the film. She will mostly settle with a side-role in the film yet it has significance.
Interestingly, Puri is working with Shriya for the first time in his long career. Never before Shriya was cast for a Puri film. And even now, she has been limited to a side-character. Apparently, Shriya agreed only after a lot perseverance from the makers who offered good amount. Shriya has been roped in to generate ‘buzz’ in the trade circuits. Given that Balayya and Shriya’s Gauthamiputra Satakarni worked, makers have roped in Shriya for ‘business’ purpose and they have succeeded in it.
Newcomers Musskan Sethi and Kyra Dutt are said to be seen in eye-candy roles who rev up the glam quotient in this stylish action entertainer laced with Puri’s trademark twist and witty dialogues.
Talk of Nandyal: Bhuma Mounika Reddy
In the absence of her father late Bhuma Nagi Reddy, who is hailed as the leader of masses by timely coming to the rescue of followers, partymen, his younger daughter Bhuma Mounika took active part on the polling day in Nandyal. Mounika has not just come to the rescue of the TDP leaders in a few booths, she even complained to police and security personnel deployed at the booths against the rivals who are violating the poll norms.
When cops had asked a few TDP leaders to go out of booths in sensitive areas such as Saint Joseph school polling booth, Mounika questioned back and explained that the TDP leaders are the official booth agents appointed by TDP to observe the voting process as per the EC rules, regulations. This is not all. Bhuma Mounika even complained to police about Shilpa Chakrapani’s son making rounds to booths without official car pass.
Bhuma Mounika has taken many by surprise with her leadership skills and supported the partymen when they need her. Many felt that she is replacing Bhuma Nagi Reddy and trying to complete the vacuum created in party, constituency due to his untimely death.

Have A Look At Rs 200 Note
Reserve Bank of India has started preparing a plan to launch the 200 Rupee note, people aware of the development revealed. The central bank which has already approved the launch of new 200-rupee denominations is likely to make them public from last week of this month or early next month (September).
This move will apparently reduce the deficiency of smaller denomination notes. Until now, only the 500 Rs note is under circulation between 100 and 2000-rupee denomination and that’s keeping the cash transactions in bothered state. Also, people in country facing severe cash crunch post demonetization and we’re only left with 70% of cash in bigger notes. Prior to demonetization, India was holding 86% of cash in Rs 500 and 1000 notes.
According to sources, around 50 Crore 200 notes will be printed and made available to public to gradually bring down the scarcity of cash and illegal trade. Earlier last week, we have read about the RBI’s decision to introduce new 50 Rupee note without demonetizing the older one.
However, a chief economist at State Bank of India says, ‘the large number of new currency notes will certainly thwart the operational difficulties being faced by the common man.’

The highly anticipated Forbes list of biggies in film industry has brought good news to Bollywood too. Three bollywood actors found spot in the top ten highly paid stars. However, this time its not all the three Khans of Bollywood.
Shahrukh khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, secured 8th, 9th and 10th spot respectively, trumped the perfectionist, Aamir Khan.
SRK grabbed staggering $38million and Salman, Akshay took home $37 million, $35.5 million, respectively.
Mark Wahlberg topped the list of 2017 being the most highest paid actor across the globe.
However, it is astonishing that Aamir was missed out on the list. His ‘Dangal, in China alone kept running the cash machines with collection of 2000 crore.
According to Forbes, the data was specific to the time period of June-December 2016. Wahlberg in the time earned a kitty of $78 million. Even though his fantasy film Transformers-The last Knight did not do well at the box office, Wahlberg’s fixed signing amount made him top the list.
Meanwhile, the highest paid actresses list hints about the role played by gender resulting pay gap. La La Land actress Ema Watson topped the list with $26million in her kitty, which is nowhere close to what the male leads are paid.
Mega Sister’s Special Gift to Chiru
On the eve of his 62nd birthday celebrated on August 22, Megastar Chiranjeevi was poured in with wishes and gifts from fans and well-wishers. The gift presented by the legendary actor’s sister and nephew Sai Dharam Tej however surprised him.
Tej and his mother gifted a custom made sword to Chiru. It was specially manufactured by handicraft experts in Amritsar. In the pic shared by Tej on Twitter, Chiranjeevi looks quite elated to have received the gift. First Record Deal For Mahesh’s Bharat!

Bharat Anu Nenu is said to be a political drama and Mahesh is playing a Chief Minister in the film which has been aimed for Sankranthi 2018 release. We have to wait and see if the duo scores a massive hit once again with Bharat Anu Nenu.
