Letter Shared By Pawan: RGV Fires Counter Letter
Director Ram Gopal Varma has shot a strong letter to Telugu Film Chamber over its recent letter to Telangana state government in drugs case. This very same letter was shared by many celebs including Pawan Kalyan through their micro blogging sites, giving unanimous support to it. Blaming Telugu Film Chamber’s letter to CM KCR in which the former stated unconditional apology for the “fault of a few industry persons”, RGV clearly found fault with the Chamber and its members for the letter and “apology”.
“When no one in the recipients of the notices (from Excise Department) admitted of doing wrong and when the SIT has not proved any of them wrong, then how the Chamber stated apology in its letter?” RGV questioned in his letter to the Telugu Film Chamber.
RGV didn’t stop there. RGV blamed the Telugu Film Chamber for its “shameful” act of writing letter and “pleading” government for no reason. Ramu went onto demand the Film Chamber that the Chamber should write an apology letter to the accused Telugu film personalities if they are proved innocence.
Ramu also asked the accused to speak out on the issue. “If anyone of you have courage and feel responsible for the pain caused to your family members and well-wishers due to the allegations, you should speak out. Had the issue is in court, it’d be okay not to talk about it. But when the charges are not even filed, the constitution has given rights to every citizen to speak up,” RGV wrote in his open letter.
RGV stated that he has been asking the Telugu Film Chamber with due respect. RGV’s latest letter is now set to explode and invite a huge flak from the members of the Film Chamber.
Nandyala Shouts : Boycott Jagan
The Nandyala by-elections in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a peculiar situation. Although the battle – technically – is between Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy and Shilpa Mohan Reddy, the real battle is surrounding in and against Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As the by-poll is considered as a referendum to the next general elections, the political campaign has been focusing on Jagan.
And majority of Nandyala has been shouting for a ‘boycott of Jagan’. The anti-Jagan solgan has gained momentum especially after the recent public meeting held by YSRCP. Jagan’s ‘shooting’ remarks against CM Chandrababu Naidu seems to have not gone well with many of Nandyala people.
In addition to it, the usual favour of people to the ruling party (TDP) in by-election is expected to come in handy. Apart from it, there has been a strong sentiment among Nandyala people in Bhuma family and Bhuma daughters who lost both their father (Bhuma Nagi Reddy) and mother Shoba Nagi Reddy in a short span. Also CM Naidu’s development agenda is another major factor that is expected to work in favour of TDP in Nandyala by-election.
As TDP is positioning it as hatred politics (YSRCP) Vs development politics (TDP), political analysts predicting a clear advantage for the CBN-led TDP. And of course, Jagan’s personal comments on Naidu often is damaging YSRCP’s prospects. The demand of ‘Boycott Jagan’ has been gaining a lot of heat in Nandyala making a clear way for the TDP. Let’s wait and watch.
NTR’ s Big Boss Too Get Into Big Trouble!
After the Tamil version Big Boss embroiled in to major controversy with the presenter Kamal Haasan’s derogatory comments, the Telugu reality show headed by Junior NTR is also heading to face a big crisis.
Social activist Achyutha Rao lodged a complaint with Telangana Human Rights Commission against the Big Boss show for entrusting ‘inhuman’ tasks to the contenders. He also challenged the tasks are distracting the youth watching the programme regularly.
Rao said the tasks like jumping in swimming pool, cutting Onions all through the night and sleeping in open places are attracted to suppressing the freedom of live. The Rights Commission is likely to respond to the petition in a week time.
Sukumar Upsets For His Hero
Director Sukumar is currently working on his latest movie “Rangasthalam 1985” which features Ram Charan and Samantha in the leads. While meeting deadlines for this project as the release is set for Sankranthi 2018, he produced another film as well.
Darsakudu is the latest film of Sukumar Writings and surprisingly he didn’t write the script. Moreover, the film got attention because our talented star director is introducing his brother’s son Ashok Bandreddi as a hero. As Sukku is popular for giving break to heroes like Allu Arjun (Arya) and Naga Chaitanya (100%Love), many are eager to see what kind of fate he will write upon his brother’s son. But what happened at the box office is really worrying.
Ashok didn’t get full marks on his debut, say it a cliched script or his average performance, he didn’t score well. Probably it looked like the young man who wanted to turn to acting though he worked as assistant director earlier, didn’t polished his skills to suit the need. That aside, Sukumar too didn’t focus on the script written by Hari Prasad Jakka, Darsakudu’s director as well, to ascertain what would help Ashok to prove his talents. Many thought that Sukumar’s brother son will become a star with debut film itself, due to the creative factor the director will bring, but that didn’t happen. Even Sukumar is said to be upset with this happening.
In the recent times, many other family-backed stars are also failing to get a hit at the box office as the launch pad films didn’t do well. Hope Ashok proves his mettle with the next.
Illegal Abortion kills an Engg Student in Hyd
An engineering student Haarika died of botched abortion today and the incident took place in a private hospital in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. 21-year old Haarika died of excessive bleeding after abortion after which she has been rushed to another private hospital. She has been declared dead on arrival.
The doctor who performed abortion along with Haarika’s boy-friend Madhu have been taken into custody and are being interrogated. Haarika’s body has been shifted to Osmania hospital and the student was five-month pregnant when she was taken to the hospital.
Her boy-friend Madhu deposoited Rs 20000 at the hospital and the cops kept a keen watch on the hospital if they violated any guidelines as per the Indian Medical Council. Haarika hails from Patancheru and is in a relationship with Madhu who is her relative.
Padmini Opens Up About Mahesh Babu
Today it happens to be Raksha Bandhan festival and the who is who of Tollywood are flaunting their Rakhis tied by their sweet sisters. On this occasion, Superstar Krishna’s younger daughter Padmini Priyadarshini, who happens to be the wife of hero Sudheer Babu, spoke about her brothers.
“My elder brother Ramesh is like a father figure. He used to take care of well during dad’s (Krishna) absence in childhood. He used to give his pocket money to us. Nani (Mahesh Babu) is like a friend. We used to fight and he used to tease us. But after growing up, he’s become a caretaker. Nani enquiries if I’m happy with Sudhir Babu or not, and how my kids are doing” said Padmini.
Padmini has brothers Ramesh Babu and Mahesh Babu, and also two elder sisters Padma and Manjula as well. All the sisters have this special bonding with both brothers and always Mahesh also flaunts his respect and love for them quite openly.

About films, she added, “I have not hiked my remuneration and I am eagerly waiting for the release of Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Spyder”.
