Basking in the success of Telugu film “Fidaa”, a love story set against the backdrop of Telangana, actor Varun Tej says his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu outing with director Venky Atluri will be a very different love story.

“People must be wondering why I’m doing two back-to-back love stories. Venky’s love story is very different and that’s why I didn’t mind doing these films in succession. Both of these films have their own charm,” Varun told IANS.Also starring Raashi Khanna, the film went on the floors in the last week of July.

“Even though ‘Fidaa’ was a love story, Sekhar’s touch and presentation made it stand out. Similarly, Venky has perceived love so differently and that’s what makes his film different,” Varun said.The film is being bankrolled by BVSN Prasad.

People have forgotten “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham”, but Allu Arjun continues to put himself in an awkward position by talking about it.The other day, at an event of Darsakudu, he once again claimed that DJ was a super hit. He went to laugh unnecessarily through his speech and showed over enthusiasm.

It was pretty clear that he was under pressure to prove that he was cool.He recently had a slip of tongue regarding training for “Naa Peru Surya” in the US. Initially, he said he will be going to the US to train for the part, then he said that a trainer would be coming over to train him.

Riding high on success, the debacle of “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham” has put Allu Arjun in an embarrassing situation, not because of its failure but for over action of the team.

Hits and failures are part and parcel of any star’s career, a single flop doesn’t bring him/ her down. But “DJ” has definitely put a dent in Allu Arjun’s image seriously.

Both Allu Arjun and his director Harish Shankar made false claims that the movie collected Rs 100 Cr in just five days at the movie’s “success event”. But the film ended up being a flop. So, people have started trolling him online.

Clearly, his recent public appearances and the “overt” speeches tell us that he is trying a bit too hard to forget his wrong moves.

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has hired a new celebrity manager for herself. This is after her former manager Roni was arrested by the Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department in connection with the drug racket busted recently.

After his arrest, Kajal’s issued a statement to media saying that she was shocked, appalled with the incident. She clarified that she has only professional bond with Roni and said she has no control over his actions, life.

Although Kajal’s parents – especially her mother – manages her most of the time, Kajal said to have appointed a new manager to interact with the producers, directors. Of late, offers have been declined to Kajal. Despite Khaidi No. 150 success, Kajal hasn’t got offers as expected.

She recently signed a film opposite Kalyan Ram on the dotted line. She is now pinning all hopes on Nene Raju Nene Mantri. It needs to be seen whether Kajal would bounce back or not.

The first phase of SIT interrogation will be over by today (Tuesday). Actor Nandu is the last among the 12 film industry people who have been summoned for interrogation, and the young actor appeared before SIT today.

Nandu came to SIT office this morning at around 10 AM, and the questioning started at 10.30. He was accompanied by his father. The father-son duo offered special prayers at the temple of Goddess situated at the Abkari Bhavan before stepping inside the office. The actor, who belongs to Brahmin community, was spotted having a Tilak on his forehead, and looked composed while entering the SIT office. It may be recalled that Nandu had earlier denied to having received notices from SIT.

After Nandu’s interrogation is over, SIT is likely to file a charge sheet in the court. Reportedly, Excise director Akun Sabharwal hinted at a second list claiming that many big people from film industry as well as other sectors will be summoned. He refused to divulge the names at the moment and asked media not to speculate any names and wait until the next official announcement from his department.

Young actor Tanish was interrogated on Monday (yesterday). Interestingly, his questioning lasted for only 4 hours. The actor looked tensed while entering the Abkari Bhavan but he looked pretty cool while coming out. The less duration of interrogation and Tanish’s body language is allegedly being seen as the SIT’s loosening of noose in the drugs case.

In fact, this song from “Jaya Janaki Nayaka” featuring the hotness of Catherine Tresa is making waves ever since the video teaser featuring this hottie got released. Her spicy charms in wet outfits and bead-studded bikini tops is catching all the attention. More than that, the lyrics of this song is slowly snowballing into a big controversy.

Apparently one of the lines read, “Hai Message lu Thai Massage lu.. Aaatilikai vastaru Reddulu Raajulu”, which literally means Reddys and Rajus come for hai messages and thai massages. And the line that follows reads, “Fuse egiri istaru enno fees lu.. voddanna istaru diamond gajulu”, which means, “They will lose their mind and gifts diamond bangles”.

As you could read them, these two lines are depicting two forward castes from Telugu states and that’s the reason for controversy now. Maybe it was written just for a rhyming, but the timing is not right.

If grapevine is to be believed, Nithiin and Hanu Raghavapudi’s Lie is likely to be deferred. Producers are contemplating to postpone the film’s release from its current release date of August 11 to a later date in order to avoid the clash with two other films Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Rana-starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

Although nothing has been made official, the production house is said to be toying with the idea of postponing Lie and looking for a solo release to garner more traction.

The idea is still in nascent phase. There is no confirmation yet. A key decision regarding the film’s release is likely to be taken today. Trade is also said to be indicating to postpone Lie to avoid clash with two other films.

If Lie postpones its release, this would certainly give way to both Jaya Janaki Nayaka as well as Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Predominantly shot in US, Nithiin and Megha Akash-starrer Lie has been made with a relatively high budget.

Naga Shourya, who is seen as Nara Rohit’s brother in Jyo Achyutananda, will be seen in a guest appearance in Rohit’s upcoming film Kathalo Rajakumari. Apparently, Rohit has suggested Shourya’s name for the cameo when director wanted a young hero for a special role.

Shourya couldn’t say ‘no’ as it was referred by his BFF Rohit. It is learnt that it is a three-day role and would be limited to a short duration in the film. Well, that is not just limited to films and Nayanthara is reportedly charging a bomb for a TV commercial. Nayan is brand face of a popular DTH service and the talented actress charged Rs 5 Cr for one TV commercial, leaving all the contemporary stars in envy and open mouth.

Nayanthara is said to be charging around Rs 4 Cr for a film and that excludes promoting the film, they say. But Rs 5 Cr for a TV commercial shot in just two days speaks loud about Nayanthara’s demand.

On film front, Nayanthara is right now busy in a film Velaikkaran with Sivakarthikeyan and Imaika Nodigal with Ganamuthu. And in Telugu, reports say that she signed the dotted line for Balakrishna – KS Ravikumar movie, which is yet to start.

Megha Akash, who is all set to make her Tollywood debut with Lie where she is paired opposite Nithiin, has been replaced by Lavanya Tripathi in forthcoming film featuring Ram as the main lead. Although Megha had been the initial choice for the film, due to her clash of dates, the makers have approached Lavanya who has readily agreed to work with Ram. Lavanya is going to join the shoot soon in the first week of August.

The film is going to mark the reunion of Nenu Sailaja combo. Director Tirumala Kishore, hero Ram, producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and music director Devi Sri Prasasd have joined the forces once again.

Inside information is that the film would be called as ‘Unnadi Okkate Zindagi’. The film’s title would be unveiled soon along with its first look. Ram is quite confident on the film and it’s said that the film is shaping up well.

Anupama Parameswaran, of Shatamanam Bhavati and Premam fame, is playing the female lead opposite Ram which will also see Lavanya in another female lead. Like Nenu Sailaja, Unnadi Okkate Zindagi will also be a youthful entertainer.

Other day Pawan Kalyan has simply stunned with his speech, at his first ever media interaction in Amaravathi. And that speech got something to do with Pawan and his Mega fan base as well. Here are the two reasons for which fans are highly upset.

Reason 1:

Pawan Kalyan directly quoted that he’s not into secret friendship with Telugu Desam party but will continue his allegiance. And when the time comes, he will question and fire at TDP on behalf of people. While saying this, he said, “I’ve not even spared my brother, why would I spare TDP?”, which sounds quite genuine.

But some hardcore mega fans do feel that whenever Pawan Kalyan wants to prove that he’s genuine and great, he should not bring Megastar Chiranjeevi’s name this way. While Chiranjeevi never speaks in such harsh tone against his younger brother, why Pawan is always saying that ‘he went against his brother’ other than the fact that he wants to earn sympathy out of it.

Reason 2:

Apparently, the Janasena President clarified that he will be focusing on full-time politics from October as he will be commitment free by then regarding his film assignments. In that case, Pawan Kalyan is likely to finish only Trivikram’s movie but may not find time to wrap another film under the direction of Santosh Srinivas. Trivikram will be needing the whole of August and September to wrap his movie with Pawan, #PK25, and that will be Pawan’s last film in case if he has decided to forgo his film career forever.

Whether these two reasons are genuinely upsetting fans out there or not, his arrival into full-time politics is being welcomed by many of his good wishers.
