At a time when everyone is going gaga over makers of Bollywood film “Raabta” alleging that they have copied the theme and scenes of “Magadheera” to the fullest, here comes another core allegation that will upset the batallion that is batting for Rajamouli and Ram Charan’s flick.
If the allegations made by SP Chary are anything to go by, “Magadheera” story was copied from his 1988 novel “Chanderi”. He accused that even the names of characters, Harsha and Indu, are lifted from his novel, where he called his protagonists as Haradaul and Indumathi. Adding more, SP Chary said, “In my novel, the two die jumping into a well and they get re-incarnated after 400 years. But here in the film they changed it to Kings and Epic backdrop”. He further added that the villain in his novel is hero’s brother, while it is heroine’s cousin in Magadheera.
After complaining on Geetha Arts at Film Chamber, the complaint was left unattended and Chary now wants to go to Court. Though Chary is suing Geetha Arts in fact, we have to see if story writer of Magadheera, Baahubali fame Vijayendra Prasad will respond.
Some cinema observers however felt that though central point sounds similar, the story of Magadheera has so much to do with Kings backdrop and 75% of the film is original and new. We have to see how this issue gets concluded.

Amidst the raging cow slaughter and beef ban row in the country, a High Court judge on Wednesday gave a baffling demonstration on why cow should be made the national animal.
Rajasthan High Court judge Mahesh Chandra Sharma, making a comparison between cow and national bird peacock, said that both the species have many divine qualities.
He called the peacock a lifelong brahmachari citing that it never has sex with the peahen. When asked how peahen gets pregnant then, he shared a preposterous theory that it gets pregnant after swallowing peacock’s tears. “The peacock is celibate and pious, that’s why it is worn by Lord Krishna on his forehead,” he said.
Commenting that cow is as divine as peacock, he demanded the government to allot national animal status to the cow. He also recommended the government to impose life sentience on those who resort to cow slaughter.
The comments would have gone unnoticed but since an honorable High Court judge made these baffling statements, the social media went berserk.

While, Neeraja claimed that she did not commit any mistake. Instead, she claims being harassed by the youth who also abused her several times calling her an ‘Non-local’ Andhra woman.

The United States has pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord, with President Donald Trump alleging that it was partial to some of the world’s highly polluting countries such as India and China.
He reportedly said that whereas India and China were allowed to build hundreds of additional coal mines and double their coal production; the US was asked to reduce its coal production.
“Even though the US is USD20 trillion in debt, billions of dollars that should be invested in our country, will go to countries that have been taking our jobs if the Paris Accord comes into effect. We want fair treatment before those countries start laughing at us,” Trump said without acknowledging the fact that the US is second only to China in terms of carbon emission.
It had been Trump’s pre-election promise to cancel the Paris climate deal within 100 days of becoming president in order to boost US oil and coal industries.
On the other hand, India termed the Paris Accord as the great hope to stop the rise of global warming by cutting down on carbon emission. PM Modi has made it clear that India will not pull out even if the US does.
The Paris Climate Accord will come into effect only if a minimum of 55 countries ratify it. As many as 61 countries have committed to this climate deal at the end of 2016.
