The shooting of Mahanati, a biopic on yesteryear actress Savitri commenced on Monday. Now, a picture of actress Samantha from the sets of this film is going viral on social media, needless to say it left many scratching their heads.
It is known that beautiful actress Keerthy Suresh is reprising the role of Savitri in Mahanati. Sam is also playing a crucial role in the film. It was widely reported so far that she would be seen as a journalist tracing the story of Savitri.
Well, Samantha’s costumes in this pic make everyone doubt whether she really is playing a journalist or the character of some contemporary actress of Savitri.
Makers are currently canning a vintage song featuring Keerthy Suresh. Sam’s costumes indicate that she too is taking part in the song shoot, sharing screen space with Savitri aka Keerthy. In that case, she is not essaying the role of a journalist.
Keeping the mystery surrounding Sam’s character aside, doesn’t she look gorgeous in this pic!!

When Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi No.150’ was running successfully in theatres across the Telugu states, we have informed how the super hit songs of the film attracted audiences repeatedly to theatres. Now, the same mantra is being used on Television to attract TV viewers to this non-Baahubali industry hit.
The first TV premiere of Khaidi No.150 was held on 29th May. Despite the IIFA Utsavam was being aired during the same time on another channel, TV viewers reportedly preferred to watch the Mega tsunami.
Interestingly, two of the most popular songs from the film – ‘Ratthalu Ratthalu’ and ‘Ammadu Lets Do Kummudu’ were repeat telecast, no need to tell how joyous the viewers were. This is said to be the first time in the history of Indian television that two songs from a film were repeat telecast. Megastar is indeed changing the way films are aired on TV.
Chiru had ruled youtube as well as box office with Khaidi No.150 and he is expected to shatter the existing TRP records on TV as well.

Actors, who ruled the South film industry in the 80s, have come together to form a club named ‘Class of 80s Reunion’ and have been reuniting once every year since 2009 to relive their memorable bonding.
Actress Lissy, Suhasini, Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Ambareesh have so far hosted the get-together in the last few years. Coming to 2017, the same event has reportedly been planned in China. As of yet, there is no clear idea on who all will be attending the party that will be held during the first week of June.
The get-together was originally started by Lissy and Suhasini. As many as 32 actors including Superstar Rajinikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Nagarjuna, Kushbu, Suhasini, Radha, Lissy, Revathy, Saritha, Jayaram and a few others have joined the class of 80’s reunion club.
The reunion this year will reportedly be vastly different from the previous years. It will surely be nostalgic to watch all the senior stars again in one frame.

There is a growing dissent against actor and MLA Balakrishna in Hindupur constituency. With the actor quite busy with his line up of films and bothering minimal about his constituency is said to be one of the reasons for he losing charm. Especially, Balayya has cut down his visits to his constituency.
Currently, shooting for his next film with director Puri Jagannadh, Balayya has not even attended TDP’s annual plenary Mahanadu in Vizag which was held on grand scale. It’s gossiped that Balayya is quite occupied that he is not even caring to spend time for party.
Many in Hindupur are of opinion that they’re being neglected by their MLA who is busy with film shoots. Especially it’s alleged that Balayya has changed after tasting success with Gautamiputra Satakarni. Post the film’s success, Balayya seems to be more interesting in doing many films and this is said to be not going well with the people of his constituency.
If this is not enough, Balayya has also earned bad reputation when his former secretary Sekhar was in charge. However, he was later sacked following AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s strict order due to severe revolt from own party leaders and media in the constituency.
The moot question is will Balayya mend his ways and consider the mood of people of his constituency?
