After news emerged earlier that makers had approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play Megastar Chiranjeevi’s love interest in his 151st film ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’, latest reports suggest that Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to essay a crucial role in the film.

Buzz is that Bachchan was recently met in Mumbai and given a narration. He is yet to his nod though. It may be noted that Bachchan had earlier asked Chiru to make his comeback to films and promised to do a cameo in his comeback film. As there was no prominent role in Chiru’s 150th film that could be played by Bachchan, he wasn’t approached then. But, since plans are being made to make Uyyalawada as a pan-India film, he is now reportedly approached to attract attention of Bollywood.

It is very well known that Balakrishna Nandamuri had earlier approached Bachchan to play a key role in his proposed project ‘Rythu’. Krishna Vamsi and Blaayya went all the way to Mumbai and gave him a narration. He however couldn’t allot his dates due to language problem and also his packed schedule.

Will Bachchan grant Chiru’s wish now? It may all depend upon the kind of role he was offered and also availability of his dates.
