Come Sankranthi, both the star heroes Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun are going to lock horns at the Box Office. While Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva’s Bharath Ane Nenu is slated for Jan 11 release, Allu Arjun’s up next film Na Peru Surya, Na Illu India to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally is also going to release for Sankranthi.

Although the clash of star-studded films for Pongal is not new and it is quite normal, however, both Mahesh and Allu Arjun slugging it out for theatres is what makes the fight more interesting as the stars have never clashed withe each other. Mahesh-Koratala film is being produced by DVV Danayya who may has backing of Dil Raju in arranging theatres (given that Dil Raju himself released Danayya’s Bruce Lee), of course, producer Lagadapati Sreedhar would have the backing of Allu Aravind who has a sway over the theatres.

However, it is too early as both the films are in the initial stages of production. It has to be seen whether if anyone backs out of the race. It can be recalled that 2017 Sankranthi season saw clash of titans Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
