After a long wait, Akhil’s much-awaited second film has hit the floors only in April. Vikram Kumar, of Manam fame, is directing the film and Akkinenis are super excited about the film.

However, after a brief shooting, the film has been stopped for a break. Apparently, director Vikram hasn’t found heroine opposite Akhil and this is said to be the reason behind the break.Touted to be a youthful love story with feel-good factor, the film is going to have Vikram Kumar’s trademark style.

Meanwhile, the makers are contemplating on the film’s title. Hello Guru Prema Kosame and Junnu are the titles that are in consideration for the film. Producer Nagarjuna is quite confident on the film and hoping that this would be a ‘Siva’-like hit for Akhil.

What everyone thought as a local film is now getting a pan-Indian touch as the makers of “Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy” haven’t just decided to hike the budget, but also planning to make the film a trilingual and feature Bollywood leading ladies as the legendary freedom fighter’s wives.”Success of Baahubali 2 has proved how big the Indian film market is. And at the same time, Uyyalawada is an inspiration even for the likes of Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai and Alluri Seethama Raju. They have uttered his name many times. Looking at this, we felt like the film should be told to maximum audiences in their own language” says Megastar Chiranjeevi, as he preps for the role.

A story that is familiar with many Indians is what mainly pushed Chiru to take up the story of this rebel who fought with the British government and got his head hanging on fort’s wall for two decades. “Uyyalawada is the one who inspired many others to revolt against the British. So that’s the origin of our freedom fighting movement. And that’s why we are putting even better budgets on the movie, such that the look and feel will be more realistic” he added.

Produced by Ram Charan on Konidela Productions banner as Production No.2, this film is being carved by Surender Reddy, while Paruchuri Brothers wrote the script and Sai Madhav Burra is providing dialogues. The film will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi while consultations are in process to rope in Bollywood’s biggies as leading ladies.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s last release ‘Brahmotsavam’ remains a black spot in the actor’s career. Well, its one year since the release of Brahmotsavam and there is still no clarity on when Mahesh’s next film ‘SPYder’ will release. It is heard that Mahesh is quite disappointed with the delay of Murugadoss.

SPYder was expected to hit screens in April if not for Sankranthi this year. But, as Murugadoss continued to shoot and allegedly reshoot, the number of working days kept increasing. The film’s release was pushed from April to June and then from June to August/September. If the latest buzz in film circles is anything to go by, SPYder’s final copy may not be ready even by the end of September. After watching Baahubali 2, Murugadoss has reportedly decided to deploy high quality visual effects in his film too and it is one major reason for the film’s delay.

Since makers of SPYder are panning to release the film in Hindi besides Telugu and Tamil, they need a solid date in all the three film industries, which is highly difficult task. As there is no clarity on when the final copy would be ready, makers are mulling over the release date. Moreover, SPYder will not get a solo release date in or after September as a slew of biggies are lined up for release.Amidst huge pressure from fans, Mahesh is reportedly showing his disappointment over the snail-paced proceedings on the sets. Fans hope that the uneasy atmosphere between the hero and director does not affect the film’s final output.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken time off from his hectic schedule and watched a film on Friday. And no, it’s not magnum opus Baahubali. KCR along with his daughter and MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha watched Nikhil-starrer Keshava that released on the same day. This has been kept under the wraps and media wasn’t aware of it.

Apparently, KCR and Kavitha liked the film thoroughly. A source in the know revealed that KCR looked quite impressed after watching the film. Especially, it’s said that KCR was all praise for director Sudheer Varma who made the film stylishly and crisply.Although it’s a regular revenge drama, the way Sudheer made it appealing is said to have won KCR’s praise. In the film, hero Keshav suffers from dextrocardia, a rare heart condition due to which heart is located to the right side of chest.
