As per the rumours doing rounds in industry circuits, Nagarjuna said to have pocketed huge profit on Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam. Since the film happens to be director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala’s immediate film after Soggade Chinni Nayana which went onto collect ground-breaking numbers in Nag’s career, naturally, trade was willing to bet high on Ra Randoyi. Distributors said to have bought the film out-rightly for a fancy price earning hefty profits to Nag.

More than a father, Nag acted as an astute producer and made business on the film. With this, Nag couldn’t change the film’s release date (May 26th) as it has already been promised to distributors who couldn’t go back as they have already paid advances to theatres and blocked them. The film is now going to be released with table profit as per schedule.

Billed to be a story of a young pair whose love entangles with a family rift, Ra Randoyi is apparently similar to Nag’s classic Ninne Pelladatha. However, the feel and treatment said to have made the difference.But one has to wait and see whether the film would bail out its buyers or not. Let’s wait and see.

On the eve of young tiger NTR Jr’s birthday, a surprising announcement has been made. It’s about the actor’s 29th film tentatively being referred as #NTR29.Star director Koratala Siva, who earlier directed NTR in ‘Janatha Garage’ will once again call shots for the actor in #NTR29. Mikkilineni Sudhakar will produce this high budget film on his newly floated banner, Yuvasudha Arts. This film will go on floors after NTR completes Jai Lava Kusa and a Trivikram’s film – #NTR28.

After completing ‘Bharat Anu Nenu’ with Mahesh Babu, Koratala will work on the script for NTR’s film. The actor has already given his nod for the single line narrated by Koratala. The actor’s line up of films look formidable.

After winning box office as well as accolades for his deft handling of ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, director Krish was roped in to bring the story of Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmi Bai on to silver screen. Unfortunately for him, the historical project titled ‘Manikarnika’ has now landed in legal soup.

Manikarnika was recently announced with Krish as the director and award winning actress Kangana Ranaut as the lead. Now, noted Bollywood filmmaker Ketan Mehta has sent a legal notice to Kangana accusing her of hijacking his ambitious project, “Rani of Jhansi: The Warrior Queen”.

In the notice, Mehta alleged that he had first approached Kangana for the biopic of Lakshmi Bai in 2015 and that he got her green signal. “I had shared all the research material and several drafts of the script with Kangana as she was actively participating in script discussions over last two years. However, I never thought she would finally hijack my project and rope in another filmmaker to helm it,” said Mehta.

Telugu audience love fun.. comedy. That’s the reason why most of the filmmakers try to make ‘entertainers’.  Action entertainer, Comedy Entertainer, Family entertainter so on so forth.  Whatever be the film, ‘entertainment’ should be there.  Situation is same on the small screen also.  There are several comedy shows in the Telugu TV channels.  But the trouble is that the adult content has become rampant in these shows.  There is severe criticsm on the extremely popular show Jabardasth for its double meaning dialgoues and adult conent.  Irated with this kind of shows a person has filed a police complaint.

Censor Board member Nandanam Diwakar has filed a complaint in Balanagar Police Station.  He said that the dialogues in these programs are crossing the limits and audience are unable to watch these shows with the family.  These programs will have negative impact on the behavior of youth.  He requested the police to take immediate action to control this kind of programs.   He felt that it is unfortunate that these programs are anchored by celebrities like Roja and Naga Babu.

Apart from this police complaint, senior filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja expressed his opinions on these TV programs through his You Tube channel with the title ‘Naa Alochana’ sometime back.  He opined that “The programmes like Jabardasth that are being telecasted on TV are high on double meaning dialogues. It is not expected from a TV channel that is owned by the great Ramoji Rao”.

‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ continues mint money at the box office thereby creating new records.  We can understand the range of ‘Baahubali 2’ success if we just consider the Indian box office collections, keeping aside world wide collections.  ‘Baahubali 2’ Hindi version has created a new record recently with highest collections for an Indian film.

‘Baahubali 2’ has launched 400 crore club in India with its collections.  The movie is able to collect Rs. 433 crore nett in just 17 days of it’s release and topped the list.  Other places are occupied by ‘Dangal’.. ‘P.K’.. ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’.. ‘Sultan’.  Surprisingly, ‘Baahubali 2’ Telugu version occupied the 6 position again with more than Rs. 300 crore nett collections.

‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ Telugu version stood in 8th position with Rs.225 crore nett collections. We can understand the range of ‘Baahubali’ as Telugu version has occupied 6 and 8 positions in the List of Top 10 Indian films with highest collections.  The collections figure will surely increase in the full run of ‘Baahubali 2’.

Superstar Rajinikanth on Wednesday yet again refused to clear doubts whether he was taking a plunge into politics.

“What I want to say I have already conveyed two days ago. I have nothing more to say for the present,” Rajinikanth told reporters when asked if he has decided to join politics. He was reacting to media questions during the photo sessions with his fans.

Asked about Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan inviting him to join the BJP, he said: “No comment.”

After meeting his fans on MOnday, the actor said that if he enters politics, he will be truthful and will not entertain people who want to make money.

“God decides what we have to do in life. Right now, he wants me to be an actor and I’m fulfilling my responsibility. If God willing, I will enter politics tomorrow. If I enter, I will be very truthful and will not entertain people who are in this to make money. I won’t work with such people,” Rajinikanth told his fans, who had gathered at Raghavendra Mandapam here.

One of his die-hard fans said: “If Rajinikanth sir becomes a politician, he will be the best.”

Another fan said: “Thalaiva should announce his own party and clean up Tamil Nadu. He is the only one who can save Tamil Nadu and take it forward again.”

Mahesh Babu is gearing up to finish his SPYder and start shooting for his next, Bharat Ane Nenu, in the direction of Koratala Siva. The film had been long delayed already has producers planned to start in early March. But now, with SPYder shooting definitely coming to an end, Mahesh wants to start Bharat Ane Nenu this month only.

Precisely, the shooting will start without Mahesh Babu on 22nd of May and a schedule will be completed of ten days. After that from June second week the second schedule will start in a set specially erected for the movie in Hyderabad and Mahesh will start shooting from this schedule.

Kiara Advani has been finalised for the movie and Mahesh will be seen as an NRI returned to Andhra Pradesh. The hero is highly disturbed by local politics and he starts campaigning as a politician to change the system and situations make him the Chief Minister of the state. From then on how he caters to the public and counters opposition forms the rest of the story as per the sources.

The movie is scheduled for a Sankranthi release and in July, the team is planning to go for a 40 day schedule to London. Koratala Siva is confident that the movie will be a bigger hit than Srimanthudu.
