Costly B’Day Wishes To KTR
Though the party leaders claimed it to be a low key affair, three flights have been roped into for the 40th birthday celebrations of Telangana’s dynamic IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao in the city. These flights have been used to sprinkle flower petals on the TRS party’s head office, TRS Bhavan, Buddha Statue at Tank Bund and billboards displayed in some areas of Greater Hyderabad.
To mark the celebrations, some leaders sprinkled seeds by planes as part of Haritha Haram on the outskirts of the city. Helicopters were also used to sprinkle seeds in Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts. TRS senior leader and MP D Srinivas’ close aide KM Pratap has taken the responsibility of the entire event. Meanwhile, leaders and well wishers made a beeline to extend greetings to KTR at his residence since this morning.
Distribution of clothes and fruits to the poor and annadaanams were part of the social service programmes conducted across the state on this occasion.
KTR Joins Modi, Abdul Kalam, Nawaz Sharif
The sand sculpture created by renowned sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo on Telangana IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao at Puri in Orissa attracted national attention.
The sculpture displayed KTR wearing pink colour head scarf and his achievements like inviting investments from Google, Microsoft and other multinational companies.The sculpture has been created on the sidelines of KTR birthday on July 24. TRS youth forum took the responsibility in creating the sand sculpture.
Earlier, Patnaik created sculptures for many famous personalities including Prime minister Narendra Modi, Pakistan Prime minister Nawaz Sharif and also noted scientist Abdul Kalam.
Manchu Lakshmi becomes a big fan of KTR
Telangana IT and Industry minister KT Rama Rao’s instruction to all his party men and well wishers not to display hoardings and billboards on his birthday on Sunday in the Greater Hyderabad limits received appreciation from many quarters.
The simplicity maintained by KTR was recognized first by none other than collection king Mohan Babu’s daughter and celebrity Manchu Lakshmi. She tweeted “wish there were more politicians like you.”While, KTR asked his well wishers to distribute fruits and cloths to the deserved instead of pending money on flags and boards.
As a minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development KTR has recently instructed Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation stop the advertising agencies from displaying ads until they fulfill all the safety requirements. Unfortunately, not a single agency qualified to display advertisements as it failed to meet the requirements.
Young Heroine puts in impressive efforts!
Mannara Chopra, the cousin sister of Bollywood Diva, Priyanka Chopra made an unsuccessful debut with Indian Idol Sriram Chandra’s acting debut, Prema Geema Jantanai in Telugu. The actress is trying her luck here once again after a brief gap. The actress had three releases lined up one after the other.
She will be very soon seen in Sunil’s Jakkanna, a comedy entertainer which is releasing on coming Friday after which Sai Dharam Teh’s Thikka is up for release on August 13 and Puri Jagannadh’s Rogue is yet to announce its release plan. The actress is putting in good efforts in promotions.

Sharwa to give life to Fade out heroine?
Aksha who sizzled in few Telugu films was last seen in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator. The actress who barely has any offers left in Tollywood got an unexpected lifeline from Sharwanand as she is offered a crucial role in his landmark 25th film. The movie shooting is already going on at brisk pace.
BVSN Prasad will be producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner. Interestingly, BVSN Prasad’s last film, Nannaku Prematho is Young Tiger NTR’s Landmark 25th film. The movie directed by Sukumar and produced by BVSN Prasad went on to become the biggest hit in NTR’s career and also his first 50 Crore film.
And now the Senior producer is also going to produce the 25th project of the young Actor. Sharwanand will also hope that the producer and his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner turns lucky for him as well. Chandra Mohan, a protege of director Karunakaran will be wielding megaphone for this film. Ratan is the music composer while Karthik Ghattamaneni will be cranking the camera. Andhala Rakshasi Lavanya Tripati will be romancing Sharwanand in this film.
‘I Will Work Until Arjun Becomes Hero’
Senior hero Venkatesh is not doing films in hurry. He refused many scripts after Gopala Gopala. He accepted Babu Bangaram since he was impressed with script.Unlike several co-stars, Venkatesh is keeping his children away from films. Interestingly, at Babu Bangaram audio launch event he spoke about his son Arjun’s film debut, apart from revealing his exit. Venky has announced to continue in films until his son Arjun makes entry.
“I don’t know how these 30 years have been passed away. I thought of decreasing doing films from last five years. I told Maruthi ‘you have extended my expiry date (in films) to 15 more years’, after watching Babu Bangaram trailer. I will continue doing films for 10 or 20 years or until my son Arjun makes film entry,” said Venkatesh adding Maruthi has shown him differently in the film.
Venkatesh affirmed of Babu Bangaram to be entertaining like his Preminchukundam Ra, Bobbili Raja and Nuvvu Naku Nachav. “Let’s see what you call me after release of this film- Pellikani Prasad or Babu Bangaram,” asserted Venky.Venkatesh clarified to release Babu Bangaram on August 12th as announced by the makers earlier.
‘Baahubali’ (Bahubali) China box office collection: SS Rajamouli’s film strikes gold in Chinese market
Director SS Rajamouli’s period movie, “Baahubali” (also spelled as Bahubali), which was released in China on July 22, has got a superb opening and is taking the Chinese box office by storm”Baahubali: The Beginning” was released in theatres around the world on July 10, 2015 and made record breaking collection everywhere. The makers had announced that they would dub the film in Chinese and release it in the country long back, but it was delayed due to unknown reasons. Recently, the producers kick-started its promotion in the country and announced its release date.
Leading Chinese distribution house E Stars Films, which has bagged the theatrical rights of “Baahubali: The Beginning,” had massive promotion for the film for over a month in the country. This publicity helped the film record decent advance booking everywhere. The movie was released in around 6,000 screens across the country.Luka wu, Chief Editor, Producer at ETTV News (Taipei, Taiwan), tweeted, “Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing… every city ✊ #Baahubali all set to wow Chinese audiences .” She added, “#Baahubali #ChinaRelease in every cities ✊Beijing 60 theaters 214 screens, Shanghai 82 theaters 284 screens…”
“Baahubali: The Beginning” opened to decent response and collected approximately $0.12 million at the China box office on the first day. The movie received positive response from the audience and the word of mouth took its business upwards on Saturday. A viewer named Balakrishna M tweeted, “Finally watched on Big screen @BaahubaliMovie!! ~80% occupancy in a Beijing downtown cinema, thats a great signl!”
As per early trends, the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer has shown around 110 percent growth in its business on Saturday. “Baahubali: The Beginning” has collected approximately $0.25 million at the China box office on its second day, taking its total to $0.37 million. Indian Box Office tweeted, “#Baahubali: China – Saturday collection shows little growth, Collects $0.25M$ on Day2 [Total 2days-$0.37M]”
Early trends show that “Baahubali: The Beginning” has shown further growth on Sunday and its collection is expected to cross the $1-million mark in the opening weekend. US, China hold NSA-level talks after South China Sea verdict
The U.S. on Monday called for “candour and openness” ahead of NSA-level talks with China in Beijing, the first such high-level political dialogue since an international tribunal rejected Beijing’s expansive claims over the strategic South China Sea.U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice began her visit in Beijing by holding talks with her counterpart Yang Jiechi after China’s outright rejection of the tribunal, questioning its legality.
Welcoming Ms. Rice, Mr. Yang said ahead of their talks that the U.S. and China have been cooperating more closely on global issues such as nuclear non-proliferation and the Ebola epidemic and both sides should carefully manage their differences.Acknowledging that U.S. and China faced other “global issues and challenges”, Ms. Rice said “to the extent that we are able to surface those challenges in candour and openness, I’m confident that we will be able to work on them as we have many others in the past.”
The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague on July 12 noted there was no legal basis for Beijing’s claim to nearly all of the waterway. While quashing China’s claims, it also upheld the Philippines’ rights over the area.China claims sovereignty over almost all of the South China Sea. The Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan seriously differ with Beijing’s claims and accuse China of illegally reclaiming land in contested areas to create artificial islands with facilities that could potentially be for military use.
On July 15, Mr. Yang said the sovereignty issue is China’s bottom line.
“Though China is large, we cannot lose one centimetre of inheritance left by the ancestors,” Mr. Yang, who is the State Councillor, holding a rank higher than Foreign Minister, said in an interview rejecting the tribunal verdict.Earlier, the commander of the People’s Liberation Army Navy Wu Shengli told U.S. counterpart Admiral John Richardson during their meeting here that “we will never stop our construction on the Nansha (Spratly) Islands halfway… the Nansha Islands are China’s inherent territory, and our necessary construction on the islands is reasonable, justified and lawful.”
Besides discussing the management of tensions in the South China Sea after the tribunal verdict, Ms. Rice also was expected to focus her talks on the preparations for the U.S. President Barack Obama visit to take part in the G20 summit to be held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou in September this year.
She is also expected to call on top Chinese leadership.
The South China Sea, rich in natural resources, is also a major shipping lane. Over half of the world’s commercial shipping passes through the Indo-Pacific waterways – including one-thirds of the world’s liquefied natural gas.
Sathyaraj To Turn Producer
Veteran Versatile actor Sathyaraj is a busy actor now in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Sathyaraj has got a huge name and recognition for his role in the film Baahubali.
