Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali has collected a massive $13 Million in the first weekend of its release in the Overseas creating an All Time Indian Record. The movie has collected about $4.05 million in US and Canada while grossing $4.25 million in the Far East which includes Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.

There is still Europe, Oceania, Africa and parts of Middle East to come. Then the movie had collected more than $2.25 Million in Gulf and has broken all the records in Sri Lanka, making it a $13 million weekend. With this, Kabali has smashed all weekend records for a film from India which was previously held by Dhoom at $10.32 million

By early estimates, Kabali has crossed 200 Cr gross at Worldwide Box Office for the Opening Weekend despite all that negative talk and reviews. The movie just sustained and came all this way on the brand value of Rajinikanth. The real test for the film will begin from today as the Working days begin.

Natural Star Nani already have two releases this year with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha and Gentleman. Both of them are good hits and the actor is gearing up for the third release of the year. His next, Majnu (Tentative Title) under the direction of Uyyala Jampala fame Virinchi Varma is being planned for September 17th release.

According to rumour mills, Nani will be seen as assistant director in the film. There is also a buzz that Rajamouli will be seen in the cameo role as the director. Interestingly, Nani is an assistant director before unexpectedly becoming a hero. Malayali Actress, Anu Emanuel and a new girl from Mumbai, Riya Ludhani are chosen as the heroines

The movie is said to be a complete romantic entertainer. Malayalam director Gopi Sundar is scoring music for the film. The movie recently completed a little schedule in Bhimavaram and is currently being canned in Vishakapatnam. The team will begin their promotions very soon with the title announcement and the First Look Poster release.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will begin the regular shooting of his next in the direction of Gopala Gopala fame Dolly starting from August 6th. The first schedule of the film will happen in Hyderabad itself. Pawan Kalyan will be sporting a twirled moustache in this film which is touted to be a remake of Tamil blockbuster, Veeram starring Ajith.

Sources also say that the makers have brought in Bhoopathi Raja, the original writer of Veeram on board to prepare the script. Earlier the makers confirmed that it is a love story of a factionist but refuse to comment about the remake news. We are said that Pawan Kalyan wants to keep it as a secret as it will decrease the hype on the project.

Kadapa King is the title in rumours for this new project but there is no official word. Shruti Haasan who romanced Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh, is pairing up with the actor in this film as well. The makers are targeting Sankranthi 2017 release. Anup Rubens is the music composer. This is his second time with Pawan Kalyan after Gopala Gopala.

Bollywood Hero Vivek Oberoi was approached to play a villain in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film. The actor is yet to agree for the role. Previously they have approached Jagapathi Babu for this role but the actor is not interested. On the other side, the heroine hunt of the film is also yet to be completed.

So the makers are canning the portions with out the heroine. The second schedule of the movie is currently underway near Chevella. The schedules are chalked out in a way there are no big resting periods as Chiranjeevi is keen to release it for Sankranthi 2017. The First Look Poster of the film will be released on August 22nd as Chiranjeevi’s Birthday Special.

The yet to be titled film is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi starring Vijay. VV Vinayak who recently bagged a failure with Akhil – The Power of Jua is given the chance to direct the film. The title of the film is likely to be announced on August 22nd as Chiranjeevi’s Birthday Special along with the First Look of the film.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali which released on Friday, garnered bad talk and reviews right from the noon shows. The movie has got an earth shattering opening on its release day. But there are signs of the bad talk taking its effect even in the first weekend, indicating that things may get tough from Monday.

The makers have decided to trim some boring portions from the film. We are said that a good 12 minutes from the film will be edited out from Monday and the new version will come in to effect. The makers feel it will be more entertaining than the existing version. Lets see if there is a change in the talk.

Kabali is made with a budget of 120 Crore and went on to do a pre-release business of 233 Crore including the satellite rights. As of now, the Overseas distributor of the film is in profits Zone. We will have to see if the movie gets to become a break-even. Monday run should give us an idea.

AR Murugadoss is busy finalizing the cast and crew of his next with Mahesh Babu. It is emerging that he had chosen Dheepa Ramanujam to play the hero’s mother in the film. She recently impressed every one with her performance in Bichagadu where she is seen as the hero’s mother. So she became the natural choice for Murugadoss.

The film will begin its regular shoot from 29th of this month. Recently, a Look Test was conducted for the actor in Mumbai. Mahesh will be seen in a serious role in this film, the makers wanted everything to be perfect before going to the shoot. Various costumes and different looks were tried on Mahesh.

We already know that Kushi director SJ Suryah will be playing the baddie in the film and they said Nadiya will be playing his wife in the movie. Reliance Entertainments, the corporate film production house is in talks with the makers to bag all the rights of the film as a Package even before the shooting began.
