The latest speculations that gripped SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali : The Conclusion are that a sequence in the film is copied / inspired from a web series. A section of netizens are widely sharing a sequence from Netflix’s Marco Polo – Season 2 and drawing comparisons to a sequence in Baahubali 2.
In the War Against Crusaders in Marco Polo – Season 2, a large group of horses with fire attached have been used to attack the rival troop. Now, netizens are accusing Rajamouli of adapting it for a sequence where a large group of Oxes with fire are used to attack Kuntala kingdom (of Devasena) and Amarendra Baahubali rescues the kingdom from them and the war that followed.
However, this is not first-time, Rajamouli is facing such accusations. Many scenes from his films, including Baahubali 1 & Baahubali 2, have been accused of inspiring from Hollywood films like Hercules, Benhur and Ten Commandments and few others. Now that this is fresh allegation by a few miscreants that it is inspired from the second season of a web series, it has to be seen how the makers would react. Or will they just ignore them like they did before.

After enthralling Telugu film lovers with his comeback film ‘Khaidi No.150’, Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently getting ready to start his next project, a biopic on freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. An interesting development about this project is currently making rounds in film circles.
Evergreen beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has reportedly been approached to romance Megastar in this film. If she gives her nod, this will be her first heroine role in a direct Telugu film. The only other direct Telugu film she was part of earlier was Nagarjuna Akkineni’s ‘Ravoyi Chandamama’ (1999), she did a special song in that film.
Aishwarya Rai, who made a comeback to films with Jazbaa, has been choosing her roles carefully. She was last seen in a temperature-raising avatar in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. If makers of Uyyalavada can offer a meaty role, the beauty queen may bless Telugu audiences with her charisma and alluring screen presence.
