Yesteryear actress Neelam Kothari, who acted in good number of Hindi movies in the late 80s and early 90s, is reportedly upset with the intimate scenes of her actor-husband.

Neelam is married to TV actor Samir Soni for the past six years. They had a good relationship until the actor agreed to play lead role in a new web series. Titled ‘Bewafaa Sii Wafaa’, the web series is produced by Ekta Kapoor, who made movies like ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’ series etc. Do we need to elaborate more on what sort of content the new web series might have?

As the story revolves around an extramarital affair, Samir had to act in plenty of intimate scenes with sizzling leading ladies Dipannita Sharma and Aditi Vasudev. As per the reports, although Neelam was beforehand aware that the web series is adult oriented, she didn’t expect that those lovemaking scenes would be so intense and frequent.

After Neelam saw the trailer, she reportedly had an altercation with her husband, Samir, who then made an unsuccessful attempt at pursuing the makers to tone down those erotic scenes.

Sampoo recalled that in his earlier interviews, he had claimed that he was an NRI and that he returned to India to make movies investing the money he had earned. He has now confessed that all those were big lies and that he was a very much local guy.

‘My real name is Narasimhachari. Before entering films, I used to work at a jewellery shop in my native place, Siddhipet. I still roam on cycle when I go to Siddhipet,’ Sampoo revealed.

Senior Tamil actor Sathyaraj is surely receiving applause form movie lovers across the world for keeping his ego aside and seeking a dignified apology to Kannadigas to help Baahubali 2 have a smooth release in Karnataka. The act of Sathyaraj however gave an opportunity to fans of Superstar Rajinikanth to troll him. So, what exactly happened between Sathyaraj and Rajini?

Going into details, a few years ago, when Kannadigas had stopped the release of his film, ‘Kathanayakudu’ following his comments, Rajinikanth issued an apology to them. Rajini put an end to the controversy by clarifying that he didn’t want to hurt the sentiments of Kannadigas but he only wanted to raise the plight of farmers in Tamil Nadu.

Rajini’s apology was welcomed by Kannadigas but the same was met with resentment by the Nadigar Sangam members led by then President Sarath Kumar. Sathyaraj, who was a member of the Sangam then, commented that he would never have apologized and instead he would have preferred to bear the losses if his film was stopped from releasing.

The same Sathyaraj, who commented against Rajini about a decade ago, has now sought an apology in a similar fashion when Baahubali 2 faced similar release hurdles. The ardent fans of took complete leverage of this opportunity to troll Sathyaraj who ridiculed their favorite actor in the past.

The Andhra Pradesh state govt. has officially permitted the exhibitors of Baahubali 2 to screen 6 shows a day during the first week run of the epic film. Ticket rates should not be hiked though.

Given the craze for Baahubali 2, the govt. seems to have taken this decision. Besides curbing the black ticket mafia to some extent, the decision of allowing six shows a day will also help the govt. keep law and order situation under control. With six shows being played in theatres from the permitted 7AM to 2.30AM duration, maximum number of people can watch the film in the first week itself.

The decision by the AP govt. will be beneficial for the producers, distributors, exhibitors and movie lovers. The unparalleled craze and the 6 shows a day feasibility are expected to generate earth shattering revenues during the first week run of Baahubali 2.

Ending weeks of drama over the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion in Karnataka, finally, pro-Karnataka organisations have stepped down their protests against the film. Clearing way for the film’s release, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike and Kannada Film Producers Association have made statements in favour of Baahubali. This is after actor Sathyaraj and director SS Rajamouli tendered unconditional apology to the people of Karnataka.

It all began when the members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike had vowed to stop the film’s release unless Sathyaraj says sorry over his remarks during Cauvery water crisis made nine years ago.

Rajamouli’s Master Strategy Works!

Jakkanna yet again proved he is master of strategies. He seems to have prepared a well-written script to overcome the controversy erupted there. First, Rajamouli has appealed protesters to not to stop the film that has no connection to Sathyaraj’s personal comments. He distanced from Sathyaraj’s remarks and said Sathyaraj isn’t part of story, screenplay or any technical aspect and said he is “just actor who took his remuneration”.

He smartly sent a video message in which he spoke in chaste Kannada and there by he satisfied pro-Karnataka organisations and hardcore Kannada fans to an extent. Since his roots are also from Kannada, his emotional appeal in Kannada touched many to an extent.

And this is followed by Sathyaraj aka Kattappas’s sorry that the protesters have been demanding for. Sathyaraj  apologised just a day after Rajamouli appealed. Rajamouli also said that he and his team have informed Sathyaraj about the developments in Karnataka over the phone and said they don’t have ‘more power’ than this.

The very next day, Sathyaraj stated that he has no intention to hurt Kannadigas. He further asked not to target Baahubali and urged to have smooth release. And pro-Karnataka organisations agreed to release Baahubali. Thanks to SS Rajamouli who masterfully dealt the issue and got it resolved a week before the film’s release (April 28).

Thus Rajamouli’s master strategy saved a whopping Rs 50 Crore, i.e the estimated cost of the Baahubali 2’s theatrical rights in Karnataka.

Macho hero Gopichand, who is struggling of late with his films either bombing at box office or getting stuck in cans for years, may have three releases in the coming 2-3 months. Just a couple pf days ago, Gopichand’s long-delayed film ‘Oxygen’ was announced for May 2017 release. The film has been in production for close to two years. Extensive VFX work was cited as the reason for the delay.

Now, another delayed film of Gopichand, ‘Aaradugula Bullet’ has also been announced for May 2017 release. Also starring Nayanthara, the film is being directed by senior filmmaker B Gopal. The project has been marred with financial issues and hence the shoot happened intermittently. Finally, makers seem to clear all the hurdles and gearing up to release the film in May.

If both the above mentioned films of Gopichand are targeting May release, the actor’s ‘Gautam Nanda’ is also targeting late summer release, probably in June or July. This Sampath Nandi directorial has Hansika and Catherine in lead roles. Its been one and a half year since the release of Gopichand’s last film ‘Soukhyam’ and now have three films of him releasing in a span pf 2-3 months.

While Krishna Vamsi’s “Nakshatram” is getting ready for a release, fans are having mixed thoughts about this films due to the delays associated with it.

There is another interesting happening in this movie. Yesteryear heroine Amani who was last seen in Chandamama Kathalu will be seen as Regina’s mother in the film.

Gopichand’s long awaited film in B Gopal direction, produced by Thandra Ramesh is at last seeing light with Aaradugula Bullet confirmed as title. Producer Ramesh officially announced May release unveiling an action packed first look poster.

Gopichand is as usual looking modish and smart. Sumo blasts in the poster symbolized B Gopal’s trade mark action. After creating wonders with Samarasimha Reddy, Indra and Narasimha Naidu, director B Gopal promises one more trendsetting flick Aaradugula Bullet in this summer.

While Nayantara is playing Gopichand’s romantic interest, the film is rich at casting with Prakashraj, Kota, Brahmanandam and others. Vakkantham Vamsi provided the story while Mani Sharma composed music.
