The madness for tickets of Baahubali 2 is at peaks in the entire country. People are unable to book tickets even with advance booing as websites are crashing and almost all shows are showing housefull. At such hour, if a person offers a ticket free of cost, he or she will surely be revered as a deity.
Warangal district collector Amrapali has done the unthinkable as she has booked 500 tickets for Baahubali 2’s first day first show at a multiplex in Warangal. And, she has gifted those tickets to her subordinates who have impressed her with their dedication in making Warangal a beautiful city.
Amrapali’s admirable act is receiving applause from every corner. People might be wondering, why don’t they all have bosses like Amrapali?

Ever since Allu Arjun’s DJ was announced for June 23 release, it is strongly believed that Superstar Mahesh babu’s upcoming film ‘SPYder’, which was earlier slated for that date, would be postponed.
Now, a fresh rumor has emerged in film circles that makers are considering to release the action thriller on August 9, which also happens to be Mahesh’s birthday. There is no official confirmation on the same but the development is wildly circulating among fans and movie lovers.
The date doesn’t look a possibility as Thala Ajith’s Vivegam is currently scheduled for August 10. As SPYder is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, it is bound to have a simultaneous release in both the languages. Tamil distributors and exhibitors would hardly show any interest if makers of SPYder dare to clash with an Ajith starrer.
Interim,unfazed about the release date rumors, Murugadoss is completely focused on shaping up a product that meets the staggering expectations on his combination film with Mahesh.
Apparently, a WhatsApp message is doing rounds which is seeking Mega fans to abandon “Baahubali 2” on the first four days. This is in connection with the way both AP and Telangana governments have given special permissions to this film.
The message reads: “Mega fans, ignore watching Baahubali 2 in theatres for a week at least. For Khaidi No 150 we’re not allowed to screen premiere shows and benefit shows. Same repeated with Katamarayudu as well. But for Baahubali2, AP government allowed 6-screenings per day and also sounded positively for ticket hike to 200 rupees. So ignore Baahubali 2 to make everyone understand how the governments are being partial for only some people”
And when we checked with many fan groups, they have started that in fact, they got this message couple of days ago. Well, there may be a strong reason for fans to ignore the film but on other side, there is no need for ignoring or over-liking any film. And films like Baahubali happen only once in centuries, so it’s better to not have such hatred.

Apparently, from the last couple of weeks, director Rajamouli and his Baahubali gang are busy promoting Baahubali 2, but most of the times they are seen exclusively on National television.
Coming to print and web medias, only one media house that is associated with the film’s finances got special interviews of the whole team including Rajamouli, Prabhas, Rana, Ramya Krishna, Anushka, Senthil, Kamal Kannan and others.

As the countdown to the big day begins, the makers have released another character poster from the film – this time, it’s Anushka Shetty in her Devasena avatar.
In the poster, Anushka, who essays Devasena in the film, can be seen sitting on a throne, looking regal in a royal blue saree and heavy jewellery.
In ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, Anushka played a tortured, harassed woman who was held prisoner by Bhallala Deva (played by Rana Daggubati), the cruel, ruthless king of Mahishmati.
What kept her going was the belief that one day her son – Shivadu will come to rescue her. Now, in the sequel, the audience will go back in time and witness the journey of the young Devasena.
Chennai: AIADMK cadres on Wednesday removed sidelined party General Secretary V.K. Sasikala’s banners from the party office here in Tamil Nadu.
The removal comes hours after party Deputy General Secretary T.T.V. Dinakaran, a nephew of Sasikala, was arrested by Delhi Police on Tuesday night.
Earlier, E. Madhusudanan, an AIADMK leader and part of former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam group, had demanded the removal of banners sporting the image of Sasikala in the party headquarters.
The Panneerselvam faction has demanded Sasikala, Dinakaran and their family members be ousted from the party.
A couple of days ago, Finance Minister D. Jayakumar had announced that the ruling faction has decided to keep out Dinakaran and his family out of party affairs.
Dinakaran had also announced that he would keep himself away from party affairs as desired by the ministers in the Chief Minister K. Palaniswami cabinet.
However, he said he would resign his party post only after discussing with Sasikala as it was she who had appointed him.
Sasikala’s election as General Secretary is also being challenged by AIADMK party men before the Election Commission.
“If the Election Commission decides on the validity of electing Sasikala as the party General Secretary then all other issues facing the party would automatically settle down,” an AIADMK leader on the condition of anonymity told IANS.
Director A R Murugadoss has finally completed writing the climax episode of “Spyder” starring Mahesh Babu.
As GreatAndhra.com reported earlier, Murugadoss came up with a new end for the movie, as earlier climax portion was not satisfactory.
To rewrite the climax episode, he stalled the shoot last week and postponed the movie from June.
The latest update is that he quickly rewrote the penultimate sequence, which reportedly has come out exceptionally well.
Mahesh Babu has given his nod to this newly written sequence. Hence, the final schedule will be commencing from 2nd May.
The team is confident of completing entire shoot by end of May. If everything goes smoothly, the movie may get a July release date.
Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad are producing “Spyder” in Telugu and Tamil languages with a whopping Rs 100 Cr budget.
The film will also be dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam languages. ‘Spyder’ is an action drama in which Mahesh Babu will be seen as a special police officer in Anti-Terrorism squad.
Biopics have always been sensational on Indian screen. Particularly, sport-biopic films like MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Dangal, Mary Kom were humongous at the box-office. Even, a biopic on Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is about to release in few weeks, while Tollywood filmmaker Praveen Sattaru is working on Pullela Gopichand’s life story.

And the film is going to release in a big way this Friday that this number is just a figure for it if all goes well.
Touted to be one of the biggest releases in India, even beating the likes of Salman Khan’s film release, Baahubali 2 is releasing in nearly 8000 screens across India. Releasing in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and many states in the North, the film is getting a massive release in single screens and multiplexes. Coming to pre-release business, the film got sold for 120+ crores in Telugu states alone, while including rest of all the territories local and global it made 350+ crores business. To recover this money, the film should collect nearly 700 crores gross from theatres.
Quick Math:
If ticket of Baahubali 2 is priced at an average of ₹ 200, then nearly 3.5+ crore people should watch the movie to collect 700 crores. If all the 8000+ theatres that are screening the movie register a single houseful show, it will be 24 lakh people watching. Per day, on an average, if 4 shows are screened, then 96 lakh people will watch the film. So if all the 8000 screens register 4-day total housefuls then 3.5+ crore people are likely to watch the film, making Baahubali 2 touch the targeted amount of 700 crores. Maybe say, 1 week is enough for the film to recover the investment, even if in case there are some drops here and there.
Hope the gamble starts on a good note and spreads happiness among all the parties involved. The key lies in Baahubali 2 getting a blockbuster talk on First Day from First Show and thereafter should register all housefuls.
PS: Some trade pundits say, screen count varies from 6000-9000 and final numbers will be known just a day before release.
