Other day we have already shared how Rajamouli’s wife Rama feels about Yama Donga movie. She stated that the film’s run at box office is due to presence of Jr NTR is what she thinks. Well, that led to some crazy discussions in Film Nagar yet again.

Not just Rama, many often say that Yama Donga has run due to NTR and his dances, dialogues, acting, expressions etc. At the same time they attribute the success of Magadheera to Ram Charan and his humongous mega fanbase. But putting a hero first than Rajamouli is surely hurting the director’s hardcore admirers.

Yes, the success range of these films multiplied due to heroes but those heroes alone didn’t brought the success. And to answer all such critics, Rajamouli has made Eega, a film without a hero and with a fly as a hero” an admirer commented.

There was always buzz that Rajamouli made Eega to make everyone believe that he could do wonders even without star heroes and Rama’s latest comment added fuel to it. Some say, “NTR and Charan helped the director to bring out the fly that redefined use of visual effects in Telugu films”.

Recently with “Satamanam Bhavati” fetching National Award, Mega coterie has decided to honour producer Dil Raju and team. Other day we have Megastar Chiru, Allu Arvind, Allu Arjun, Kalyan Ram and also hero Nani turning up at an event to appreciate this Sharwa starrer directed by Satish Vegesna.

Of course, Satamanam Bhavati is a wholesome entertainer and it got all the necessary elements. But, the film has got Dil Raju’s push and hence such a reachability even though it competed with biggies like Khaidi No 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni. In this appreciation meet, all the guests, especially the mega family, has blatantly forgotten about the achievement of a small film “Pelli Choopulu”.

Carved out by a debutant Tarun Bhaskar, produced by a a no-theaters-in-hand producer Raj Kandukuri, featuring non-stars like Vijay and Ritu, “Pelli Choopulu” became a big hit and it also won Best Regional Film national award. At the same time, director Tarun won Best Dialogue Writer award also, which is first of sorts a Telugu movie. Also if we look at returns-again-investment angle, Pelli Choopulu made crores from the budget invested and also made 1 million dollars from the Overseas market.

Onlookers felt that Megastar got one-sided to only one coterie when it comes to appreciating Telugu cinema. Even other heroes have also limited their praises to Satamanam Bhavati. It would have been very well if a big family like Mega Coterie invited Satamanam team, Pelli Choopulu awardees and also Janata Garage choreographer to shower their appreciations.

When quizzed, producer Raj Kandukuri says, “A pat on the shoulder for a small film like Pellichoopulu will give a boost to many to make such films”. He also asked, “Even to appreciate a film, do you look at the size of the production and producer?”. While speaking to us, producer Raj is on his way to collect BN Reddy Award for the film.

All-round appreciation is coming from all quarters, say audiences and media, appreciation from film-industry is lacking for a film like Pelli Choopulu, which is really unfortunate.

While it’s not a big deal about it as cinema lover got accustomed to watching superstars like Salman Khan who haven’t got married yet, it looks like Prabhas is also treading the same path. Other day during a press interaction, when quizzed about his marriage, Prabhas said simply “No Idea”. Earlier there used to be some words like this year, next year ending, after this, before that and so, but not words like ‘no idea’ surfaced. Definitely, this is a shocker coming from the Baahubali star.

Ram Charan has surprised his wife and best friend Upasana on the weekend. The actor took time off from his hectic shooting schedule in Rajahmundry and flown down to Hyderabad just to spend quality time with Upasana and his family in the weekend.

“Lonely eve. Missing mr.C. Hectic shooting schedules in the Rajamundry heat,” wrote Upasana earlier on her Instagram page on Friday evening sharing a lone pic of her. And Charan indeed surprised her by making it to the home for the weekend.

Charan is going to return to Rajahmundry on Monday to resume the film’s shoot where special sets have been erected to shoot for over a month.

On other hand, the film marks the first-time collaboration of Sukumar and Charan. Since Sukumar has so far dealt with stories against urban backdrop, there have been apprehensions on how the director is going to showcase Charan in a film set in village milieu. Another apprehension is that Charan would be seen as partial hearing-impaired guy this he hasn’t tried before. We have to wait and see how the film shapes up.

Six Time MLA and TDP leader Devineni Nehru passed away at a private corporate hospital in Hyderabad in the early hours today. He admitted to the hospital last week and was undergoing treatment.

Devineni Rajasekhar who was called Nehru during his 35 year political career suffered heart attack and passed away. He along with his son recently joined TDP after the Congress suffered major defeat in 2014 election. Nehru was the senior most leader in Krishna district. He played key role in Congress as well as TDP during his political stint in the district.

On hearing the tragic incident, followers and relatives of Nehru rushed to Hyderabad. Body will be shifted to Vijawayada to perform final rights.

The felicitation event, organized by producer Allu Aravind on Sunday, for team Shatamanam Bhavati – producer Dil Raju, director Satish Vegasna and Sharwanand, was attended by Megastar Chiranjeevi as chief guest, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Nani, Kalyan Ram, Allu Sirish and others from film fraternity.

While everyone was expected guests at the event, Kalyan Ram dropping by at a Mega event has grabbed many eyeballs and actor-cum-producer wished both Dil Raju and director for the national award. He said, ‘It’s a privilege to see the great gesture of Allu Aravind garu honoring other producer from the industry.’ Kalyan Ram further added, ‘what Chiranjeevi garu said is right…we must appreciate Aravind Garu and Allu Arjun Garu for organizing this event.’

‘After watching Shatamanam Bhavati, my wife also asked me to do a film like that rather than movies involving high amount of violence. So, I wish to be part of such films in the days to come,’ revealed Kalyan Ram, who’s now producing ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ with NTR.

The hot beauty recently revealed how she had to convince and soothe her mother when she felt uncomfortable watching her daughter in shoot for some hot and bold love-making scenes. While shooting for the intimate scenes including hot romance, high skin show and jaunty kissing involving Sana Khan, her mother had an awkward moment and she used to fight with the director to chop off those scenes, said the actress.

‘Since I’m from a traditional family, it was a very difficult and embarrassing moment for my mother and she had no courage to watch me shoot for those scenes. Later, I convinced and conveyed my parents that it’s part of our job and also, requested my director to keep place sparsely populated while shooting bed-room scenes.’ – revealed Sana Khan in one of her recent interviews.
