As we reported earlier, the film got its censor formalities completed and received U/A certificate without a single cut. Racy screen play of 2 hours and 14 minutes is likely to be an advantage for this historical magnum opus.

PM Modi is extremely popular for his daring decisions. Once he decides he will not care for a hoot even for one second. People still cannot forget his surgical strikes on Pakistan which shocked entire world and the blackmoney strike which made opposition parties run for cover.
Now many are wondering whether PM Modi demolished the dreaded don. It is known that Indian intelligence agencies for long have been trying to arrest dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim for many attacks inside the country.
Many times they failed due to lack of evidence, non cooperation from enemy nations like Pakistan. Many times they tried to get his bank accounts seized but failed to do so. Now it is comingout that PM Modi demolished dreaded don.
BJP proudly claimed on its twitter handle that UAE seized Dawood Ibrahim’s properties worth Rs 15000 crores. If this happen then it is another feather in PM Modi’s crown.
BJP tweeted ‘Major diplomatic success of PM Modi: One of India’s most wanted criminals, Dawood Ibrahim’s properties worth Rs 15,000 crore seized in UAE’.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150 is set for a humongous release on the 11th amidst huge expectations. The film is directed by VV Vinayak, who had earlier directed Chiru’s super hit film, Tagore.
VV Vinayak, in an interview recently, revealed a few amusing tidbits about the making of Khaidi No.150. After Chiru assigned Vinayak the job of directing the movie, Vinayak watched the Tamil original Kaththi and felt that the Telugu version needed comedy.
A few days after Vinayak narrated the full adapted script to Chiru, the Megastar had called him and said, “Vinay, I want Brahmanandam”. Even before Vinayak could fathom Brahmi’s presence in the script, Chiru went on to suggest that Brahmi’s character should doubt him while his character always lands Brahmi’s character in trouble.
Immediately, Vinayak created a separate track from Brahmi and he now says that the comedy scenes featuring Brahmi and Chiru have come out superbly. Incident, both Vinayak and Brahmanandam need a solid hit to resurrect their careers and let’s hope that they will get the much needed hit this Sankranthi.
Veteran hero and former union minister Rebel Star Krishnam Raju is likely to become new Governor of Tamil Nadu. According to the reports, the BJP led union government has reportedly taken a decision to appoint Krishnam Raju as the 20th Governor of TN state, which is politically facing perplexing situation at the moment.
Krishnam Raju stood as one of the big heroes during 1970s. Having made hie debut with ‘Chilaka Gorinka’, Krishnam Raju launched his own banner Gopikrishna Movies and produced good number of successful movies.
He was elected MP of Lok Sabhar in 1998 and he rendered the services as a union government between 2000-2002. The Rebel Star is said to be the staunch loyalists of PM Modi and union minister Venkaiah Naidu. As we know, Young Rebel Star Prabhas is the nephew of Krishnam Raju.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unexpected announcement of demonetization has devastated the common people state governments alike. But the biggest loser due to demonetization is Amaravati, the dream capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Until the currency ban, land rates in Amaravati were astronomical. In the capital city’s epicenter Tullur, 1 acre of land used to cost at least Rs.3 crores as against Rs.8 lakhs before Amaravati was made the state’s capital.
The situation is equally similar in Velagapudi, the prime hub of AP government, where Chandrababu’s dream buildings for Secretariat, Assembly, High Court and other administrative buildings were supposed to come up in the coming few years. Even Undavalli and other surrounding areas are in similar condition.
The severe cash crunch situation that is rattling the realtors and common people who cannot afford huge investments has resulted in the land rates in Tullur nose dive to Rs.60 lakhs. Even though the land rates are down by huge percent, no one is ready to buy the lands, literally leaving investors in tears.
Ample flow of cash is key to the flourishing of any real estate business and demonetization has badly hit this cash flow in Amaravati and as a result, private party investments have dried up completely, further resulting in issues like no new real estate ventures, lack of companies and prevailing unemployment.
On the other hand, realtors are also of opinion that the situation will not subdue in the coming few years. In this scenario, even the AP government will find it to going ahead with its plan to build the ambitious administrative buildings in the capital.
Actor-turned-politician Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju is likely to be appointed as the new Tamil Nadu Governor. If all goes by reports, Krishnam Raju will be the 20th Governor of Tamil Nadu succeeding the incumbent C Vidya Sagar Rao who is acting as additional incharge to Tamil Nadu.
Krishnam Raju share good bond with PM Narendra Modi and his association with BJP top brass including Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said to be favouring him to bag the top post of Tamil Nadu.
Considering that Tamil Nadu is undergoing difficult phase post demise of CM Jayalalithaa and swift political developments, Krishnam Raju to be appointed as TN Governor is raising curiosity.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is reportedly behind Vangaveeti producer Dasari Kiran Kumar. Speculations are rife that Jagan could had been backing Dasari Kiran so that the Kapus would once again take on TDP government in AP.
Apparently, Dasari Kiran Kumar share good rapport with YS Jagan & his family. His bonding dates back to former CM YSR and YSR said to had promised Dasari Kiran UDA (Urban Development Authority) Chairman post which is on par with Cabinet rank. However, with sudden passing away of Rajasekhar Reddy, this couldn’t happened.
Since then Dasari Kiran said to have been in touch with Jagan and regularly meeting him once in a while. Rumours have it that Jagan could had been morally pushing Dasari to make film on Vangaveeti. But RGV said to have spoiled the sport and struck a fine balance between Vangaveetis and Devinenis groups. With this Jagan’s plans have gone haywire.
This aside, Jagan had also supported Mudragada Padmanabham’s agitation against TDP government which led to the violent agitation in Tuni.
Jagan has been voicing against TDP government every now and then and tried his best to bring all who’re opposing government under one stage. But he failed miserably.
Whether these rumours have any base or not one is not sure, but these have gripped film, political circles for sometime. Only Dasari Kiran & Jagan know how Vangaveeti happened.

Balakrishna’s historical 100th film Gauthami Puthra Satakarni completed the crucial censor formality a while back in Hyderabad. As expected, Censor members have lauded the film for its awesome visual brilliance, Balayya’s powerful performance, amazing re-recording (sound mixing) and extra ordinary VFX before awarding U/A certificate fixing the runtime at 2 hours 15 minutes.
To remind here, Krish and Balayya have wrapped up the magnum opus in very short time span. Shooting four mind-blowing war episodes or re-creating the ancient historical time period was a challenge.
Anyways, the film has reportedly come out with top quality and Censor members could not stop pouring the appreciations, lauding the team work.
This is what can be called a dream run where a hero beats his own records by self. Aamir Khan needs a meager Rs.36.42 Crores from ‘Dangal’ to beat the highest lifetime business of his own film ‘PK.’ As per official trade sources, ‘PK’ lifetime business is Rs.340.8 Crs while ‘Dangal’ total till 4th Jan is Rs.304.38 Crs.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film on wrestling emerged as 2016 top grosser crossing Salman Khan ‘Sultan.’ Despite demonetization, ‘Dangal’ delivered a strong statement to entire world that quality entertainment in India is always sale-able.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s landmark 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni has been censored. The regional CBFC board has passed the film with no cuts. The film has been certified with U/A.
The two-hour fifteen minute film will boast grand visuals and battle scenes dominate most of its run-time.
Scenes involving Shriya Saran and Balakrishna and Hema Malini, Shriya Saran are going to be highlights besides the battle episodes and performance of Balakrishna, say the sources close to the film’s unit. Also, the film’s makers feel that the movie is going to be the pride of Telugu cinema.
Touted to be a historic epic, the film chronicles the life and times of India’s mighty warrior Satakarni and Satavahana dynasty. Director Krish has zeroed in on ensemble cast to make it more engaging.
Now that the censor issue has been resolved, the film is all set for release on Jan 12th. Given that it’s clashing with Chiru’s Khaidi No. 150 at the BO, all eyes are on both these films.
After wrapping up long schedule in Ahmedabad, Mahesh Babu has went for winter holiday with family to Switzerland. The actor has just returned from the short trip and will be joining the shooting of the film from Jan 7th in Hyderabad.
A massive set is erected in the city to accommodate the shoot of Mahesh-Murugadoss film. It’s learnt that the set is very crucial for the film as the major portion of the shoot would be done in it.
For the first-time, Rakul Preet Singh would romance Mahesh and the film is tipped to be an action drama. Although reports are rife that the film is tentatively titled as Sambhavamai, it’s heard that Mahesh & Murugadoss have kept the option open and still looking for a better title.
Meanwhile, rumours have it that Mahesh would make it to Khaidi No. 150 pre-release event which we learnt that there’s no truth in them as Mahesh would be busy with shoot of his film.
Telugu actress Hema has said that she will support the Kapu movement led by Mudragada Padmanabham and added that she won’t back off even if Telugu film industry banishes her.
Speaking on the sidelines of Kapu Women Meeting in Kakinada, Hema questioned AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over his alleged negligence on Kapu reservation issue. She demanded that Naidu should fulfill his election promise of Kapu reservations that was mentioned in his party’s manifesto.
Without beating around the bush, Hema questioned why TDP leaders from other communities who are opposing the Kapu reservation now, remained silent when the top brass of TDP had highlighted Kapu reservation issue in the election manifesto.
She concluded that she will support the Kapu agitation irrespective of what tollywood has in store for her.
It is known that Hema contested the 2014 general elections on Kiran Kumar Reddy’s ‘Jai Samaikyandhra’ party ticket and lost the elections to TDP candidate.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, ‘I don’t know’ when he was asked if the emerging reports of 97 per cent of banned notes returning to banks. The Reserve Bank of India has also said that it was yet to collate the reports of counting.
After the December 30 deadline to deposit the old notes was over, some reports emerged saying that 97% of banned notes in circulation returned. If it was true, it would be a huge setback for Modi govt. which expected to flush out at least 30 per cent of the notes in circulation, gauging it as black money.
“Now that the Scheme has come to an end on December 30, 2016, these figures would need to be reconciled with the physical cash balances to eliminate accounting errors or possible double counts etc. RBI has already initiated this process and till this is completed any estimate may not indicate the actual amount that has been returned,” the RBI said in a statement on Thursday.
So far, neither the government nor the RBI has officially disclosed how much of the banned notes have been returned.
A film released with below par expectations emerged as a sensational blockbuster in Telugu last year and it is Vijay Devarakonda, Ritu Varma starrer ‘Pelli Choopulu’ from debutant director Tharun Bhascker backed by D. Suresh Babu. After a stiff competition to bag the remake rights in other regional languages, Gautham Menon bagged the Tamil rights.
Hiking up the zero star cast value in ‘Pelli Choopulu,’ the talented film maker reportedly roped in Tamanna for female lead in Tamil version. To be directed by Menon’s long time associate Senthil Veera Samy, very soon the project would be rolled onto sets.
It would be interesting to see Tamanna getting into Ritu Varma shoes because both of them are poles apart when it comes to stardom. To all our known information, milk beauty had a dream run last year with ‘Oopiri, Dharma Durai’ and ‘Abhinetri’ while ‘Queen’ is one more ambitious remake signed and there is also ‘Bahubali 2’ set for release in this year. Indeed, a promising lineup.
Who else other than Mega Star Chiranjeevi know about the pulse of Telugu audience? His vast experience of working with wide variety of directors on diverse subjects and 149 films seniority to his credit as hero, definitely Chiranjeevi has got the sharp knack about ups-downs in screenplay and the kind of entertainment needed to be catered for our viewers to garner a positive Box Office result.
Accordingly, Chiranjeevi analyzed Tamil hit ‘Kathi’ story, script in comparison with plenty of stories heard from writers and finally took the decision to go for remake in the name of ‘Khaidi No 150.’
Latest we heard from Mega camp is, Chiranjeevi personally got onto the job of editing the censor version of ‘Khaidi No 150.’ He chopped off all comedy episodes which have become speed breakers diluting the honesty, depth in concept. Without any discrimination, Chiru cropped the final copy completely devoid of Prudhvi comedy and decreased the length of Brahmanandam, Ali episodes thus keeping narration crisp and sharp. Let us see, how far this final trimming looks on screen from Jan 10th midnight?
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni suddenly became a hot cake in the trade. Khaidi No 150 will also release for Sankranthi. Both the films are not keen on letting go the huge holidays advantage Sankranthi season brings and so the clash became imminent.
Previously, when Balayya and Chiranjeevi clashed for Sankranthi, the former always had a upper hand. So, Chiranjeevi wants to change that. The Team is currently waiting for the Tax Exemption update from both the state governments which will give the much needed push for the movie
The film was sold expecting Tax Exemption in both the states. The Pre-Release Business will be cleared only when there is a clarity about the Exemption and so the makers are tensed. Already the movie’s Pre-Release Business is complete to the tune of the highest ever in the actor’s career and the makers are sitting comfortably with a Table Profit.
Stage is set for the grand gala pre-release meet of Khaidi No. 150 at Hailand in Guntur and all roads are leading to this mega event.
The curious point being talked about now is the entry of mega star Chiranjeevi at the function. In the movie, the entry of hero into the scene is planned in a big way. But, how would Chiranjeevi’s entry would be at the pre-launch meet? Here is the exclusive update.
According to reliable sources, Chiranjeevi would land on the stage in an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO), which is commonly referred to as flying saucers, which are spotted in the sky and are believed to be used by extra-terrestrial living creatures to land on the earth surface.
So, mega star also will turn into an extra-terrestrial living being to land on the stage of the Khaidi No. 150 pre-launch meet.
Arrangements are being made to create the effects of the UFO on the stage. It remains to be seen whether this UFO would be made to fly in the air and land on the stage with the help of ropes or through any other technology.
Whatever it might be, it would be a memorable mega entry for Chiranjeevi to project his return to the film industry in a grand way after a gap of 10 years!
Arrangements are in full swing for the pre-release meet of Khaidi No 150, which is expected to be attended by all heroes from the Mega family.
While Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Teja announced that they were taking a break from their shootings of their films – Mister and Winner – to attend the gala function, Allu Arjun too is getting ready to appear on the stage. Only hero who is left out is Pawan Kalyan and there are indications that he, too, might attend the function.
According to the gossip doing rounds in the film circles, Pawan’s presence has not been confirmed well in advance only to avoid problems from his fans.
Since there is no bigger event in the near future with regard to mega family, there is every possibility that Pawan would attend the function. Other say everybody from the family, except Pawan, would be there at the function.
Sources close to the event, however, made one thing clear without any specific reference to Pawan that all Mega heroes would come within one frame on the stage.
In fact, the idea of calling veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao as the chief guest too the function was given by Pawan himself. So, it is learnt Pawan’s entry would be announced only at in the last minute and till such time, there would only be specualtions.
There is also talk that if Pawan does not come to the function, there would be chaos from his fans who would raise slogans in support of power star. So, it is better if Pawan comes to the function and efforts are on in this direction, said sources.
Young tiger NTR Jr, who is gearing up for a commercial entertainer in the direction of Bobby, is reportedly planning to act in yet another experimental film.
After resurrecting his career with ‘Temper’, NTR has done the most unconventional film of his career, ‘Nannaku Prematho’, to win class movie lovers. The reward for his efforts came in the form of ‘Janatha Garage’ as the class audiences have also embraced this film.
Post Bobby’s film, NTR has already committed to work with director Trivikram Sreenivas for a film, which is expected to be a perfect commercial entertainer laced with family emotions.
After these two films, NTR has reportedly lined up critically acclaimed director Vikram Kumar’s experimental film. Vikram has already become a brand with films like Manam and 24. The duo has reportedly held discussions during the ‘script listening spree’ of NTR before finalizing Bobby’s project and decided to work for a film in 2018.
In fact, Vikram Kumar planned to work with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun but as the two actors are super busy, he seems to have decided to go with NTR, who is also looking at content-rich films rather than mass masala entertainers.
