Srirastu Subhamastu Fails Yet Again
Makers of Srirastu Subhamastu hoped that their film would do well in the second attempt, but the US audience didn’t show any interest in watching it on second release. This film has been turned down by the overseas audience when it was first released on 4th August.
As the film has been doing steady business in the Telugu states, the makers believed that it will be received by the US audience if they release it again. They have claimed that they are rereleasing it on public demand, but the US audience didn’t pay attention to it despite no notable releases during this weekend.
Srirastu was able to collect only a few thousands of dollars in its rerelease while Pelli Choopulu added more than $ 30K to its tally in its fifth weekend. Srirastu is more or less a safe venture in India but it is a big failure in overseas.
