Pawan Off To Meet His Murdered Fan’s Family
Power Star Pawan Kalyan has left for Tirupati this morning to meet and condole the family members of his die-hard fan Vinod Royal, who was murdered in Kolar, Karnataka by another star hero’s fan a couple of nights ago.
Pawan is reportedly disheartened about the tragedy and he is expected to address his fans and request them to maintain peace and harmony with other heroes’ fans to put an end to such unfortunate fan wars forever. Meanwhile, Pawan’s fans demanded a CID probe into the case.
Vinod Royal hailed from Tirupati and he was a huge Pawan Kalyan fan since many years and even participated in many Jana Sena party related activities. On the fateful day, he visited Kolar to participate in an organ donation drive attended by Telugu actor Suman.
During the event, Vinod shouted praises for Pawan and vowed to extend the organ donation to Tirupati. This angered another Tollywood star’s fan Sunil. Other guests calmed them down, but both the fans again fought on the same night at a hotel, where Sunil’s friend Akshay Kumar stabbed Vinod to death.
Chay Following Akhil’s Sentiment
The suspense over the release date of Naga Chaitanya’s Premam has finally ended and the makers have confirmed that the film will release as a Dasara special, while they are yet to decide on the exact date of release.
Premam’s unit also revealed that the video teaser of the chartbuster song Evare, originally Malare from the Malayalam version, will be released on August 29th to commemorate Nagarjuna’s birthday.
Furthermore, the film’s audio album will be released on September 20th on the occassion of Chay’s granddad ANR’s 3rd birth anniversary. Incidentally, Chay’s brother Akhil’s debut film Akhil too had its teaser and audio album launch on dad Nagarjuna’s birthday and granddad ANR’s 2nd birth anniversary respectively last year.
Call it a coincidence but looks like Chay is following Akhil’s sentiment. Strangely, just like Premam, even Akhil was supposed to release for last year’s Dasara, but was delayed due to technical issues. After all these coincidences, fans will only hope that Premam will not repeat Akhil’s fate at the box-office.
Yet Another International Honour For Baahubali
Released in July, 2015, India’s biggest motion picture, the SS Rajamouli’s epic magnum opus Baahubali The Beginning, attained reputation and box-office success across the globe.
In yet another international acclaim, Baahubali will be screened at the upcoming BRICS summit which will be held from September 2nd to 6th in New Delhi. Apparently, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s suggestion during the last summit that films be screened for the delegates at every BRICS summit.
Baahubali is one among the four films selected from India to be screened at the BRICS. The other Indian films include Baji Rao Mastani (Hindi), Cinemawallah (Bengali) and Thithi (Kannada). Four films from each of the participating four countries would be screened at the summit.
BRICS it the acronym for an association of five major emerging national economies – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Originally called BRIC with only the first four countries, it was later renamed as BRICS with the controversial inclusion of South Africa in 2010.
NTR to Miss Premier Records Again
Young tiger NTR Jr is one of the top heroes in overseas market alongside Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. But, like the other two, he has been unable to score premier records courtesy bad release dates.
Makers of ‘Janatha Garage’ have announced that the much awaited action entertainer will hit screens on September 1, Thursday. Owing to the imminent national bandh on September 2, makers took this decision. The September 1 release date looks very good in the two Telugu states as Janatha Garage can leverage a holiday-in-disguise-of-bandh on its second day. Alongside the four day weekend, the film will also enjoy a holiday on Monday, Sep 5.
But, the scenario in US is entirely different. Thursday release means the film will have its premieres on Wednesday itself. NTR’s last release ‘Nannaku Prematho’ missed the premier record and collected only $355K from premiers as it was screened on Tuesday. NTR is likely to miss the premiere record again with a Wednesday release. Janatha Garage has a perfect combination to rewrite record books by the end of its full run. But, premiere record is an impossible feat.
Baahubali with $1,382K and Sardaar Gabbar Singh with $616K are sitting on top.
When Mahesh Praised Mega Star
Few days back, the first look of Mega star Chiranjeevi’s prestigious 150th film ‘Khaidi No.150’ was released to thunderous response. The entire social media went gaga over the first look and many celebrities too celebrated the ‘Boss Is Back’ moment.
Of them, Super star Mahesh too was said to have praised the first look. It is known that Mahesh attended the birthday bash of Chiru with his wife Namrata few days earlier. He was reportedly very impressed with the first look and said that it reminded of ‘Tagore’ Chiranjeevi. The first look of ‘khaidi No.150’ was designed by Anil and Bhanu who earlier made first look posters of hit films like ‘Oopiri’, ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Sarrainodu’, ‘Gautami Putra Saatakarni’, ‘Premam’ and many others.
Also SS Karthikeya, son of Rajamouli worked on the teasers of Chiru’s 150th film. The film is said to have completed almost 50% of its shooting and is gearing up for a Sankranti release. There are a lot of expectations riding on the film and hope makers doesn’t spoil them.

With a view to felicitate Sakshi Malik, the Bronze medal winner from Haryana, CM Manoharlal Khattar arranged a public meeting in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. While appreciating the other medal winner PV Sindhu, the BJP CM wasn’t smart enough to remember her name and ended up asking other members on stage. On top of that, he added that Sindhu was from Karnataka (who’s actually from Hyderabad, Telangana).
Previously, CM Khattar announced 50-lakh cash reward to PV Sindhu from Haryana state government and it’s now weird to forget her name at a public gathering. Thankfully, Khattar didn’t misread her name.

NTR Avoids Pawan, Fans Happy
Fans of young tiger NTR are happy as the film’s release date has been preponed to September 1st, avoiding September 2, which happens to be Pawan Kalyan’s birthday and considered by many as a bad omen in the wake of the ‘flop birthday sentiment of 2016’.
Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ released on April 8, which happens to be Bunny’s birthday, and flopped. Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ released on May 20, which happens to be NTR’s birthday, and it also flopped.
When makers of NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’ had postponed the film’s release date from August 12 to September 2, a section of fans started worrying. They had a bad feeling that the bad omen will repeat as the release date also happens to be Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.
However, after makers of ‘Janatha Garage’ preponed the action entertainer to September 1st owing to the nationwide bandh on 2nd, fans are now relaxed as the movie has somehow avoided the bad omen of coinciding with birthday of a celeb.
