From the last few months we have been hearing about Pawan Kalyan doing Tamil blockbuster, Vedhalam Remake. The actor himself clarified about the news in his latest interviews after Sardaar Gabbar Singh release.
The actor confirmed that he was approached for the remake project but has script issues. “The project came to me. But the script have to be tweaked to suit the sensibilities of Telugu Audience. Currently, I can’t confirm when the project will go on floors,” Pawan Kalyan.
The Powerstar also revealed that he currently have two projects in hand. One with his Kushi and Puli director SJ Suryah and other with his friend, Trivikram Srinivas. On the other side, Sardaar Gabbar Singh lost its steam at the box office even in the first weekend of its release.
The movie should signs of fall on Saturday and Sunday. The real test will begin from today as the working days begin. The movie has to beat the collections of non-Baahubali industry hit to be a break-even venture.
After a sensational day one across the world, the happiness bubble for the fans and distributors of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh bursted quickly on its day two. Theaters across the Telugu states and even in overseas witnessed only 70-80% fulls, which raised deep concerns among the trade circles.
As if this disastrous is not enough, Sardaar is facing yet another major challenge in the form of Jungle Book. This Hollywood visual extravaganza has took the theaters across the country by storm and minted more than 9 crore share on its opening day, while Sardaar’s North Indian collections were a shameful 45 lakhs.
After opening to more than 90% to housefuls on day one, Jungle Book has witnessed a big jump on day 2 as the film collected more than 10 crores share across the country, while Sardaar failed to go houseful in almost all the multiplexes and single screens in Telugu states, leave alone the Northern circuit.
Jungle Book’s advance bookings at mullet multiplexes in Telugu states over the weekend are phenomenal with almost 95%-100% occupancy, while Sardaar is struggling to get even 50% fulls. Alas, nobody might have expected that even a small film like Jungle Book would beat Sardaar.

Just now all the parties confirmed their alliances and yesterday DMK announced their election manifesto. ADMK is still yet to reveal their manifesto.
Now in this case, Tamilnadu Telugu Yuvasakthi leader Kethireddy Jagadeswar Reddy announced that Telugites are going to contest in Tamil Nadu General Assembly elections under TDP (Telugu Desam Party).
Telugu language safety commission in Tamil Nadu is planning to contest with Telugu leaders in elections in order to find a solution to all the problems faced by Telugu people. Telugu people face various troubles in Tamil Nadu and the most among them is imposing ‘Tamil’ on the students at schools.
Telugu yuvasakthi leaders Kethireddy Jagadeswara Reddy, U.Pinchalaiah, B.Govardhan, K.Mohana Krishna, S Balaji along with many other Telugu association leaders met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief N.Chandrababu Naidu. They met him during his tour of Chittoor and they submitted a requisition letter.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi dreamed of becoming CM of united Andhra Pradesh and launched his own political party Praja Rajyam. However with his dreams dashed, he joined Congress and satisfied his ego by becoming RS MP and became Union Minister. Now with his party voted out of power, is now just RS MP and hailed as AP leader. Even now he is having the dream of becoming CM.
However it is comingout that efforts are on to turn him CM candidate in the 2019 general elections. With caste politics playing important role in Andhra Pradesh, plans are on to draw political mileage with Chiranjeevi. According to speculation TDP-BJP will part ways and Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena will join hands with BJP.
Chiranjeevi will join Jana Sena and he will be promoted as CM candidate. He is planning to take on Chandra Babu Naidu and YS.Jagan and so he will lead Jana Sena,BJP combine. Since Kapu votes play kery role, all parties are trying to cash in to them.
YSRCP president Jagan is claiming that he will become next CM and Congress is planning to make Chiranjeevi as APCC chief. However Congress became non entity and sources say the moment TDP-BJP alliance break, political equations will change quickly.
Accolades always boost any person but in politics many people try to curry favours by indulging in false praises. Politicians should be careful about them and be grounded or else they will soon crash land.
Now many are wondering why Jagan Mohan Reddy, leader of the opposition and president of YSRCP, is allowing flatterry and falling into their trap. Even on Ugadi forecast readings, many were surprised at Jagan enjoying the words of astrologer Marepalli Rama Chandra Sastry.
He compared Jagan as South Indian political super star and that too when two more of YSRCP MLAs are planning to join the ruling TDP. Many are of the opinion that such flattery is not suiting anyone and infact embarrassing all.
People are wondering whether Jagan fall in their trap and over estimate himself. His actions in the coming days may throw light on it.
April has come but no trace of Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie going to the sets. Many muhurthams have been changed so far for various reasons.
The latest news is that the movie will only be launched in May. Reason is that some changes are now being done to the script of “Kaththi” by Vinayak and his writers team.
After the release of “Sardaar Gabbar Singh”, Chiranjeevi reportedly felt that if the second half is not gripping and entertaining, the film would face huge problems. So he asked his team to re-look at the screenplay especially the post interval episodes.
Hence changes are now being done to the script. Chiranjeevi has taken this film as a matter of prestige. He wants this movie to be a big blockbuster as it would give enough boost to his political career.
“Kaththilantodu” is the title being considered for this remake of Murugadoss’s “Kaththi”. Nayanatara has been approached to play the female lead. Vinayak is the director and Ram Charan will be producing the film in association with Lyca Productions.
Just a day ahead of Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s release, Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai quite excitedly tweeted about her son Akira sharing his birthday on April 8, which also happens to be Sardaar’s release date. Pawan fans were highly elated with the coincidence and they all wished Akira on his birthday.
But the real shocker has come from none other than Akira’s father Pawan Kalyan himself. During one of Sardaar’s post release interviews tonight, when the interviewer asked Pawan if he wished Akira on his birthday, Pawan shocked everyone by saying that he forgot that it was Akira’s birthday on April 8.
Not stopping here, Pawan then said he doesn’t even remember anything about his children’s studies and which class they are studying in. Naturally, Pawan’s insensitive replies have hurt his fans who can’t believe such a sensitive person like Pawan forgetting the most important details about his children.
