In Andhra Pradesh, “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” has shattered all records including that of the the mighty movie “Baahubali” on the opening day.

Despite bad talk that started from the benefit shows, the film took great openings all over on the day 1.

In Andhra area, the movie has beaten the record set by “Baahubali’. While “Baahubali” collected Rs 11 Cr on day 1, “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” has raked in a whopping Rs 11.80 Cr. The movie has benefited hugely from high rates of benefit shows in many centers.

But the movie could not beat the records of “Baahubali” in Nizam and Ceded areas. Still, even in both these areas it has posted stunning figures.

The Kollywood film industry’s star couples are actor Suriya and Jyothika have joined hands with Poovellam Kettuppaar movie. After that movie both have acted together in Uyirile Kalandadu, Kakka Kakka, Perazhadan , Mayaavi, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal and after that both have joined hands and started their married life.

After their marriage Jyothika had a long break and after eight years she has made a re-entry through 36 Vayadhinile movie. She has acted brilliantly in 36 Vayadhinile and again she has decided to act in Tamil movies. Recently Suriya was last seen in the star cricket and he has told in the event that he and his wife Jyothika are acting in a movie.

Suriya didn’t say under which directorial they are acting and he has just told that they are again teaming up for their next project. Sources have said that “Kuttram Kadithal” movie director Brahmma has planned to direct a movie with her roles been highlighted in the movie.

Suriya is going to play a guest role in the movie which will be directed by Brahmma and after that very soon both will act together in a movie which may be directed by the director Brahmma. Keep watching for more updates.

One of the leading actresses down south, Samantha made her silver screen debut with Naga Chaitanya’s Ye Maya Chesave. Their pair was a super hit and both Sam and Chay appeared together in two more films, Autonagar Surya and Manam.

Yesterday, Chay tweeted a new poster of his upcoming film Premam as a Ugadi treat. In her reaction, Samantha not only retweeted Chay’s poster but also tweeted two ‘hearts’ to Chay. Rarely does Sam tweet about other films and this got people reading between the lines in her response to Chay’s film.

Sam’s excitement is clearly hinting that she is spilling the beans about her fondness for Chay. Also, this is not the first time that both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya displayed some PDA on Twitter. Well, let’s wait until the cat is out of the bag.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh had released earlier today amid huge fanfare. The movie however failed to reach the hype and expectations which are towering and ended up with the flop talk. Despite the talk the openings are still strong on the first day. However it has to be seen how the movie sustains in the long run.

The movie had seen a pre—release business of over 100 Crore. If the bad talk takes over from Monday, there is a danger of incurring at least 50 Crore. But there is no movie release until Sarainodu release on April 22nd, lets see if the movie can make use of this vacant space at the box office and minimize the losses as much as possible.

Sardaar Gabbar Singh has to cross the collections of the existing non-Baahubali industry hit, Srimanthudu to at least remain as a break-even venture. With this talk, it is definitely not easy. Pawan Kalyan and the movie team should extensively promote the film so that distributors and exhibitors remain on safe side with as less as possible losses.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh released yesterday amidst sky high expectations and a hype that was unseen for a Pawan Kalyan film. However, the film could not withstand the expectations and especially the ridiculously wafer thin storyline disappointed the fans to no limits.

At the end, Pawan ended the movie with a ‘Raja Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ title card, hinting that the Gabbar Singh franchise may be extended in a sequel. The same feat we saw at the end of Baahubali, where the makers included a title card of Baahubali The Conclusion.

Naturally, this got the disappointed Power Star fans, who are still in the after shocks of watching Sardaar, freaking out about an impending threat in the future in the form of Gabbar Singh 3. Fans are still unable to digest the boring and done to death story and screenplay written by Pawan and they are now worried that Pawan may don the writer’s hat once again.

Instead, fans want Pawan to leave the job to his writers and directors and concentrate only on his acting. Let’s wait and see what’s in store for these diehard fans.

Different factors can promote a movie until Friday morning, but only a good script can take it forward from then. Now that Sardaar falls flat due to its age old writings and pale presentation, we need throw a microscopic view on points that can save the film.

Though Pawan Kalyan seems to be the only strength of the film with his presence, he himself seems to be the biggest weakness for Sardaar with his writings and weak screenplay. Sardaar is a movie for a particular set of fans, who can enjoy every act of him on screen and they can push the film upto some extent. But his screenplay and story were so disastrous that most of the audience were worried about Pawan’s choice of writing even after his adieu to acting in near future.

While Pawan’s acts in this movie might have given him a perception that people watch him anyway sans peppy story, the reviews at this moment and collections after the full run might ridicule his perception to core. Wish Pawan watches his own Sardaar once again to know the fact that his writings are killing the movie and his stardom is struggling to save it. Powerstar is a hero with shotguns in Sardaar, but sure a villain with pen behind it!

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s next project under the direction of Srinu Vaitla was supposed to have its launch on Ugadi day but that did not happen. We are said that there are some problems for the project as Varun Tej is not totally satisfied with the script delivered by Vaitla and asked for few changes.

In a recent interview, the actor was asked about his next project, he did not mention Srinu Vaitla’s name but only said it will be announced very soon. That means, the project may be in doubt now. Both – Srinu Vaitla and Varun Tej are looking forward for this film as both of them desperately needs a big hit.

Varun Tej’s last film, Loafer is a big flop while Vaitla’s career is at cross roads with two back to back disasters with Aagadu and Bruce Lee. t is emerging that Lavanya Tripati and Hebah Patel are finalized as the heroines in the film. The film will have Mickey J.Meyer composing the music. The young music director previously scored music for Varun Tej’s debut film, Mukundha.
