Remember Srija, the younger daughter of Megastar Chiranjeevi? Few years ago, she eloped with a guy called Sirish Bhardwaj and even made allegations against her own father. But later, she got divorced and came back to her father. Srija was living with Chiranjeevi since then. Recently she flew to London to pursue Masters.
And surprisingly she also got enrolled in Belly dance course with India’s Got Talent lead Choreographer Mehar Malik. It is not clear if Srija got enrolled in this case due to her personal interest or if she has any plans to debut in to films. We know that recently Nagababu’s daughter, Niharika made her filmy debut.
Watch-ing over your child’s health
Helyxon, a start-up in the IIT Madras Research Park founded by Vijai Shankar Raja and Vanniyarajan, has developed a an app-based temperature device, called the 98.6 Fever Watch, that can monitor your child’s health at home even while you’re at work.
Ideal for children up to the age of 12, the fever watch is a wearable device using an ultra low power system-on-a-chip that comes with a watch strap and disposable patches to stick under your child’s arm for real-time temperature monitoring. The strap could be used for older kids, who might like to wear the device like a watch. Parents simply download the app and sync up with their smart phone via Bluetooth, to receive minute by minute updates on their child’s health anywhere, anytime.
Diseases like dengue, malaria and typhoid are diagnosed using fever patterns that the app shows a graphical representation of, which you can easily share with your doctor. Priced at Rs 4,999, the 98.6 Fever Watch can be ordered from Helyxon’s website or other e-commerce sites. The app is available for free download for Android and iOS.
U.S. flies straight into Korean standoff
The United States deployed a B-52 bomber on a low-level flight over its ally South Korea on Sunday, a show of force following North Korea’s nuclear test last week. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un maintained that Wednesday’s test was of a hydrogen bomb and said it was a self-defensive step against a U.S. threat of nuclear war. North Korea’s fourth nuclear test angered both China, its main ally, and the United States, although the U.S. government and weapons experts doubt the North’s claim that the device was a hydrogen bomb.
The massive B-52, based in Guam and capable of carrying nuclear weapons, could be seen in a low flight over Osan Air Base at around noon (0300 GMT). It was flanked by two fighter planes, a U.S. F-16 and a South Korean F-15, before returning to Guam, the U.S. military said in a statement. Osan is south of Seoul and 77 km from the Demilitarised Zone that separates the two Koreas. The flight was “in response to recent provocative action by North Korea,” the U.S. military said.
“The United States remains steadfast in its commitment to the defence of the Republic of Korea [South Korea] and to maintaining stability on the Korean Peninsula, to include extended deterrence provided by our conventional forces and our nuclear umbrella,” said U.S. Lt. Gen. Terrence O’Shaughnessy. After the North’s last test, in 2013, the United States sent a pair of nuclear-capable B-2 stealth bombers over South Korea. At the time, the North responded by threatening a nuclear attack on the U.S.
U.S. is also considering sending a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to waters off the Korean peninsula next month to join a naval exercise with Seoul, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported without identifying a source. However, U.S. military officials said they knew of no such plan.

Roles of Prabhas Seenu, Shakalaka Shankar and Saptagiri will be hilarious. Makers of ‘Express Raja’ weren’t worried about the heavy rush during Pongal season as they obtained good number of theaters (400) and about 90 locations were booked in USA.

Ramcharan Managing both Remakes
Disastrous run of ‘Bruce Lee’ has not only affected Mega Power Star’s stamina as star hero in Tollywood but also put a question mark on charisma of Chiranjeevi who made a cameo comeback through the same film. The time has come for both father and son to re-approve their Box Office power with respective films getting ready to go on sets very soon.
As per reports from Mega camp, Ramcharan is leading the teams of both ‘Thani Oruvan’ Telugu remake and ‘Kaththi’ remake. We do know about Charan accepted ‘Thani Oruvan’ remake in Surender Reddy direction while Chiranjeevi’s milestone 150th film is ‘Kaththi’ remake in VV Vinayak direction. Ramcharan is associated with both, one as hero and one as a producer.
In less than three to four weeks time, Ramcharan is planning to see both of them been launched. Pre production works are going on under guidance of Charan and he is said to be quite busy locking the overall cast, cerw.
Dictator Poses Challenge to Nannaku Prematho
What’s that key element making Balakrishna ooze in enormous confidence with regards to his latest outing ‘Dictator’ releasing on 14th of this month? Unlike many movies which come and go from Balayya, this one seems to be a different ball game and there are rare qualities which might make ‘Dictator’ spring a sudden surprise at Pongal Box Office.
On the other hand, a section of critics and media are overtly aligned towards ‘Nannaku Prematho’ may be because of combinational advantage in Tarak and Sukku. At the same time, Balakrishna is not a new generation hero who can win the acceptance from youth and metro audience as easily as Tarak does. Withstanding all such disadvantages, ‘Dictator’ is raring to get into the competition.
‘The real commercial potentiality of Telugu films lies down in B, C and D order centers. Metros or top class A centers can make only a mediocre share of total business. Balakrishna and ‘Dictator’ can pose a real threat for Jr NTR and ‘Nannaku Prematho’ in these regions. In fact, Balayya is a force to reckon in mass centers. If ‘Dictator’ gets positive response in these areas, it can catch like a fire to destroy the class touch in NTR. Moreover, Balayya coming like an underdog can be a major advantage,’ said an analyst.
Jr NTR Ready To Do Babaiki Prematho
Are there really any differences between Nandamuri family members especially between Jr Ntr and his babai Balakrishna? At a moment when both their films ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Dictator’ respectively are colliding at Box Office in Pongal season, the scope for gossipmongers to increase their coverage is causing a big concern among Fans.
However, the reactions from Balayya and Tarak are truly amazing which explains the warmth still keeping them intact. ‘There is no planned competition going on for the coming Pongal season. I want my movie ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and every movie including ‘Dictator, Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Express Raja’ to become hit films.
Unlike media members reporting on me having opinion differences with Babai Balakrishna, there is nothing of such sorts. I’ve done ‘Nannaku Prematho’ with Sukumar and if someone comes forward with a strong story element on Babai sentiment, I am open to do ‘Babaiki Prematho.’ As an actor, I always strive to give my best,’ NTR said at the interview.
Anjali Reacts on Fresh Marriage Rumours
Heroine Anjali has responded on the latest gossip doing the rounds that she’d be marrying director Omkar. Shocked and stunned with this rumour, Anjali said, “I haven’t heard of this rumour yet. In fact, I have never met or spoke to Omkar. So, the rumours about my marriage are baseless.” Ask her whether she would be doing the sequel of Raju Gari Gadi, Anjali said that she is not aware of it so far. “I heard these rumours when I was shooting away in abroad. No one has approached me so far,” Anjali added.
Whether Anjali disappointed with the failure of Sankarabharanam? Anjali replies, “Usually whenever my film fails, I feel bad and don’t come out. With Sankarabharanam, am happy with the way my role was received well. I got several appreciations for Munni role. Even media praised and several critics lapped up my performance. I wanted to do different in Sankarabharam and I did it. Am happy. But when I was narrated the film initially, it sounded good.”
Talking about her past controversies, Anjali says that it would take sometime for her to completely recover from them. “I’m very sensitive so I definitely get upset with controversies surrounding me. Since I came from normal background, I am not used to controversies. Whenever a girl is celeb, controversies do come into her life,” says Anjali.
Ask her who are all Anjali’s family members and with whom she maintains close relation? Pat comes reply. ” I have a mom, two elder brothers, one elder sister. I’m the youngest of all and so, am close to all. 10 Yrs, 13 Films & 4 Hits
“10 Years..10 Beautiful years of my life!Ur Love made me what I am today.Will try & give back as much as I can & entertain you until the end!” This was Ram’s tweet to his fans this morning as he got highly emotional as he announced his completion of a decade in Tollywood.
On 11th January 2006, Ram made his acting debut with Devadasu, along with the sultry Goan siren Ileana. The film, directed by YVS Chowdary, was a runway hit and paved a grand red carpet for Ram’s career in Tollywood.
The young actor who was still in his teens at the time of his debut film’s release, went on to earn the tag of Energetic Star for his high voltage performances.
In these 10 years, Ram acted in 13 films, but tasted success with only 4 films – Devadasu, Ready, Kandireega and Nenu Sailaja, which is still running successfully. After facing a series of flops, Ram reinvented his strategy and bounced back to limelight with the refreshing hit of Nenu Sailaja.
Niharika To Romance Akkineni Hero?
The Mega and Akkinenis are two of the most popular and powerful film families in Tollywood. The last time a Mega-Akkineni association happened on the s silver screen in a big way was way back in 1996, when Pawan Kalyan and Supriya made their debut in Akkadammayi Ikkadabbayi.
Now, if the ongoing buzz is anything to be believed, yet another Mega-Akkineni association is on the cards. Apparently, Akhil will be romancing the Mega girl Niharika Konidela in his second film. The buzz further says that the film will be directed by none other than SS Rajamouli’s son Kartikeya.
Even though the buzz seems to be highly superficial, one cannot rule out the possibilities since Akhil and Niharika have already worked together in a short film which was directed by Kartikeya. And if the film indeed materializes, no doubt that it will be the most awaited project in Tollywood.
Dil Raju Says He Is a Fan of Pawan Kalyan’s
‘Kirshashtami’s audio launch event, held at GIET, Rajahmundry, was a huge success last night. Dil Raju is producing this movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations. Addressing to the students of GIET, Dil Raju said hero Sunil was a fan of Megastar Chianjeevi while he was a fan of Pawan Kalyan’s.
” Not only in mega events but also in all other movie functions we are hearing the chants of Pawan Kalyan’s name. If Sunil is the fan of Chiranjeevi garu I am the fan of Pawan Kalyan. I hope you all make ‘Krishnashtami’ a big success,” said Dil Raju.
Sunil thanked the producers for supporting him giving an opportunity to work in their banner. Meanwhile, Sunil broke the vutti arranged at the venue. The movie has Nikki Galrani and Dimple Chopade as heroines. Vasu Varma has directed the movie.February 5 is the scheduled date of release of the film.
