Kannada director Pawan Kumar had won accolades for his writing and making for super hit film Lucia, which was later remade in Tamil as Enakkul Oruvan that was dubbed in Telugu as Naalo Okkadu. The Kannada director’s latest creation U-Turn is gearing up for release and it is creating curiosity among film buffs, owing to attention-grabbing trailer.

Latest we heard is actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has watched special screening of U-Turn and she has expressed her enthusiasm to star in Telugu and Tamil remakes of the film. Pawan Kumar will direct the remakes, which will go on floors sometime this year. U-Turn is a female oriented mystery thriller that stars Shraddha Srinath in the lead role.

Samantha hasn’t acted in a heroine centric film till date, so she is showing interest to star in U-Turn remake ever since she has watched the special show. Other details about the remake version are yet to be known.

Meanwhile, Samantha is working for half a dozen films in Telugu and Tamil. Her upcoming Telugu movies Brahmotsavam and A.Aa.. are slated to release in summer.

We all know that Megastar Chiranjeevi announced his Prestigious 150th project title – ‘Kathilantodu’. It is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kathi in the direction of VV Vinayak. When Chiranjeevi announced the title, there is a huge uproar from all quarters including fans that the title is not good.

Some felt it sounded like a dubbing title while others felt it is not up to the stature of Chiranjeevi who now has a different image being a politician. However we have reliably learnt that Chiranjeevi is in favour of Kathilantodu and opines that the bad feedback will slowly die down and people will get used to it.

It is emerging that the film will go on floors this month itself. Ram Charan and his mother, Surekha will be producing the film on their new banner, Konidela Productions. Vinayak previously directed a blockbuster with Chiranjeevi, Tagore and fans will need nothing less than that for this prestigious film.

It is known that Chiru may not attend ‘Sarinodu’ pre release function. This is a new twist to Bunny. The reasons are not yet known but rumors are heard that Chiru is getting ready for his right hand surgery. Gossips are also heard from mega compound that Chiru is going to Delhi on some important work on the same day.

On the other side, fans are eagerly waiting for Chiranjeevi’s 150^thmovie. In a casual meet with fans, Chiru said that the movie name will be ‘Kathilantodu’. It is known that fans didn’t like this title and said Chiru. So he again fell in search for the title of ‘Kathi’ remake.

To give the same name, Kalyan Ram’s movie is registered with the same name which is a flop. It seems ‘Sarainodu’ pre release function is being planned as a grand event with an expenditure of 1 crore. So Allu Aravind requested Chiru to reschedule and attend the function so that the movie gets good craze and fans will be delighted.
