NTR’s Donation To Woo Balayya & Babu?
Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho is gearing up for the censor test today. The film will hit the screens on the 13th of this month and expectations on this film are humongous among his fans and trade circles. NTR also took it prestigiously and has kick started the promotions by appearing in Nag’s hit game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.
Even as NTR joining hands with Nagarjuna, another Sankranthi contestant with his Soggade Chinni Nayana, made headlines, it is NTR’s generous donation of his prize money that touched the show’s participants.
Our exclusive close source has confirmed that NTR won a whopping Rs. 12,50,000 in the show. NTR then announced that he will donate half the amount to Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital and the other half to the NTR Trust.
Interestingly, Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital is under NTR’s babai Balakrishna’s supervision, while the NTR Trust is being run by the TDP forces under the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s authority. Is NTR trying to send signals to both Balayya and Babu calling for an end of all the differences between them through his noble gesture?
Pawan Kalyan Asked To Lead New Alliance!
NDA alliance parties (TDP, BJP) tried to bring Power Star Pawan Kalyan to campaign in the GHMC elections, since the Jana Sena Chief and his party is not participating in the polls. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan played key role in TDP winning maximum of seats in last general elections in Andhra Pradesh.
When Pawan Kalyan smoothly refused their proposal of campaigning, NDA allies have decided not to disturb him. Now, latest speculation is a new alliance party leaders are planning to meet Pawan Kalyan with a request of leading the alliance parties from the front.
Loksatta, CPI, CPM, Maoist Communist Party, Aam Admi Party and Most Backward Classes Joint Action Committee (MBC-JAC) have formed new alliance named ‘One Hyderabad for Clean Politics’ to participate in the polls with lone intention of fighting against corruption.
Presently, the alliance is preparing a common agenda and a manifesto. As per a grapevine, Loksatta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan is trying to get support of Pawan Kalyan for the new alliance and also to take lead of it. JP is expected to meet Pawan Kalyan to discuss about this.
However, Pawan Kalyan who is presently shooting for Sardaar Gabbar Singh may not accept the proposal as he wants to focus only on films for now. Let’s see what will he say?
KTR Plans For Telugu Rashtra Samithi!
TRS, the single largest party in Telangana, is often hailed by its leaders as the torchbearer of Telangana’s identity and self respect. As the party is gearing up for the upcoming GHMC elections, its prominent leader and the state’s IT minister KTR made a few interesting comments about his party.
Recalling some of his recent experiences following his father and Telangana CM KCR winning the hearts of Andhraites in his Amaravati visit, KTR revealed that an AP minister joked that KCR’s following among Andhraites is higher than the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
KTR then jokingly said that they are planning to rechristen TRS’ name from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Telugu Rashtra Samithi. Not stopping here, KTR further said that he has already decided to contest from Bheemavaram if at all his party spreads its roots in AP.
KTR joked that winning from Bheemavaram is quite easy since just a poll promise of legalizing cockfights (kodipandalu) is enough to make the voters give him a thumping victory. Meanwhile, KTR’s funny jibes at AP CM and its people have not gone down well with a section of people.
Huge set for Janatha Garage
Young Tiger NTR’s next film, Janatha Garage will go on floors after the release hungama of Nannaku Prematho. The makers are getting a huge set erected for the movie at Saradhi Studios for this purpose. Art director AS Prakash is supervising the set construction.
The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016.
The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well.
Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.
Tarun hopes on a comeback
Actor Tarun who once raced in to Top league with several youthful love stories, is out of form completely in recent years. After a lot of gap, the actor is doing a film in the direction of Ramesh Gopi. Oviya is the heroine in this film.
The film titled ‘Idhi Naa Love Story’ is a unique love story which stresses on the importance of loving a girl effectively and not about how much time, she is loved. Tarun has pinned high hopes on this film to make a comeback. Today (January 8th) is Tarun’s Birthday.
The makers have released the First Look Posters of the film on this occasion. SV Prakash is producing the film on his Ram Entertainments banner.
Record release for Nannaku Prematho in Nizam
Young Tiger NTR’s latest offering, Nannaku Prematho is all set for a sensational release on 13th of this month. Only in Nizam, the movie is releasing in a sensational 400 screens on the release day. The makers are currently busy getting the first copy of the film ready.
They say the censor will take place on Monday. Nannaku Prematho is being planned for 13th release as Sankranthi Special. The makers will kick-start promotions once they complete the censor. According to the rumour mills, the movie is 2 hours 40 minutes long.
Creative director Sukumar is wielding megaphone for this movie which has Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead. Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu are playing important roles. BVSN Prasad is producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.
Nagarjuna Pays Huge For NTR’s Answers
Earlier we reported that, young tiger Jr NTR is going to attend Nagarjuna hosting prominent game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu third season as special guest. The episode featuring NTR was already shot and it will be telecasted in MAA TV for Sankranthi.
As per a source, NTR has answered 12 questions overall and has won 12.5 lakhs prize money in the show. It is also heard that, Nagarjuna has been stunned with NTR’s skillfulness and thanked him for taking part in the show. Now, NTR fans are waiting eagerly to watch this episode on TV.
In fact, NTR has participated in the show to promote his upcoming film Nannaku Prematho which is also slated for release for Sankranthi on January 13th. It will be double treat for Nandamuri fans during this festival, watching Nannaku Prematho on screens and also enjoying Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu special show in TVs.
Generally, film stars attend several TV shows to promote their movies. Nagarjuna’s MEK is one of the popular shows, so NTR attended the show to endorse his Nannaku Prematho and also to test out his general knowledge skills.
It may be recalled that, NTR was original choice to play one of the lead roles alongside Nagarjuna in Vamsi Paidipally directing Oopiri. However, he walked out of the project owing to some reasons and was then replaced by Karthi. NTR might have missed an opportunity to act with Nagarjuna, but he got to spend some time with the senior actor. Let’s wait until Pongal to enjoy the show!
Dil Raju’s ‘Equal Justice’ In Nizam
All eyes are cast on the epic box-office clash between the titans this Sankranthi. The four biggies, NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, Balayya’s Dictator, Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana and Sharwanand’s Express Raja are testing their luck this festive season, with nearly 150 crores riding on them.
As usual, the Nizam battle will also be closely watched by fans and trade circles. The leading distributor in Nizam, Dil Raju, will be playing a crucial role this Sankranthi. Nearly 700 screens in Nizam area are under Dil Raju and the producer has reportedly distributed these theaters equally to all the four films.
Interestingly, Dil Raju has not allotted more screens even to Express Raja, which he bought for a fancy price and releasing in Nizam. While cornering Balayya by taking away his theaters is ruled out, Dil Raju has NTR’s dates and he will produce his next film. The hotshot producer also shares a close rapport with Nag. This altogether made him give away his theaters equally to all the four films.
