Nandamuri Balakrishna’s highly awaited 99th film Dictator is all set for its censor scrutiny tomorrow and the film’s theatrical release will be in a grand scale on the 14th as a Sankranthi treat for fans. The film has been made with a whopping 35 plus crore budget and it is one of the most stylishly made Balayya films.

During one of the promotional interviews, Balayya revealed that Dictator is a grand film and everything about it should look huge and flamboyant. He then revealed how he lent his gold coated playing cards to the film’s director and asked him to use them in one of the scenes.

Balayya revealed that a friend had gifted him the gold cards and that he never used them at home. Apparently, his wife even wondered what would he do with the cards in the shoot. Even the film’s unit was thrilled when Balayya gave the gold cards to senior Bollywood actress Rati Agnihotri to shoot a powerful scene.

Finally, Balayya said that he thinks that deep about his films and that he attained this habit from his dad and legendary actor NT Ramarao.

Sunil is busy these days with quite a few projects. While his Krishnashtami is set to hit the screens soon, the actor is busy with another film directed by Akkella Vamsi Krishna.

Sunil has also signed another film, Veedu Gold Ehe, directed by Veeru Potla, produced by Anil Sunkara of AK Creations. The makers have roped in Richa Panai of Yamudiki Mogudu fame as the female lead for the film. Shooting will start soon. Sushma Rajis playing the other female lead in the film.

Interestingly, Sunil did not have a single release in 2015 and three of his films will now release one after the other in the New Year, starting with Krishnashtami.

While Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is releasing on April 29, Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh is also being readied for an April release. With the two big stars of Telugu cinema arriving in the same month, it will be a feast for Telugu film lovers.

Both stars will resume shooting for their respective films in a few days and they want to complete as soon as possible. With Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu has beaten Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Daredi, which had become the number one Telugu film a few years back. Pawan Kalyan will thus want to regain his spot and will go all out with Sardar Gabbar Singh.

Brahmotsavam is being directed by Srikanth Addala while K.S. Ravindra is directing PK’s film. The overseas market is going to be the key this time for both actors.

The shooting of Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0 (Endhiran 2) starring superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and others commenced recently in the city. Seems like the team is trying to retain some of the technicians who worked for the prequel Endhiran, which released in 2010.

AR Rahman, who worked in the first project, has been roped in to score music for this film too, which is expected to hit the screens in 2017. Yet another Oscar award winner, sound designer Resul Pookutty is the latest addition to the movie. The technician who had worked for Endhiran was a part of Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan too.

An excited Resul who was in Chennai on Sunday morning to discuss about the project with Shankar had tweeted, “In Chennai, one of my favourite city… After the floods everything looks calm, initial meeting with @shankarshanmugh for #endhiran2.”

After a narration of more than four hours by the director, Resul confirmed his inclusion in the project, and officially announced the same. “#Chitty here I’m with you for the 2.0 version! Excited by your sheer vision and power @shankarshanmugh #Robo2.0.”

King Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’s censor formalities have been completed today. The movie received U/A certificate from the members of the censor board. Censor members felt that the movie was a family entertainer.

‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ is slated for release on January 15 as a Sankrnathi gift for the audience. As we know, the movie is releasing amidst huge competition from other big ventures like ‘Naannaku Prematho’, ‘Dictator’ and ‘Express Raja’. Even then, 65 centers in Ceded area have been confirmed for the movie’s release.

Ramyakrishna and Lavanya Tripathi have paired up with Nagarjuna in the movie. Hamsa Nandini and Anasuya will be seen in key roles. Anup Rubens has composed the music of the movie. The movie has been directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna on Annapurna Studios.

Dil Raju’s judgment in either production of super hit films or picking the right movies for distribution in Nizam area is never questionable. He is today ruling the distribution and theater network in Nizam area with backhand support from Allu Aravind, Bunny Vaas and others. As per official reports, Dil Raju has just bagged the Nizam theatrical rights of Sharwanand’s new movie ‘Express Raja.’

Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by UV Creations, the film is said to be a stylish comic caper with a hit verdict written all over. Before bagging these rights, UV Creation heads are said to have arranged special premiere show for Dil Raju soon after completing the Censor formalities. Thoroughly enjoyed with the way product has come out, he immediately agreed to distribute the film in Nizam area.

Of course, we all know that Dil Raju showed enormous respect towards production standards maintained by UV Creations in their past films and went on praising Vamsi, Pramod for producing highly commercially valued movies at ‘Express Raja’ audio function recently held. Though the Nizam deal would have been signed between either parties much earlier but now it is officially revealed out.

Comedian turned hero Sunil has been going through lean phase. The actor is pinning many hopes on his upcoming entertainer Krishnashtami that is being made under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. Usually, Dil Raju films will have good expectations among family sections. Likewise, buzz surrounding Krishnashtami is also encouraging, regardless of Sunil’s recent flop record.

Promotional song notifies that, Sunil worked hard on dances and stunts. Interim, Krishnashtami is in last leg of shooting. Makers are looking for appropriate date to release the movie.

Suspense still prevails over the release date of Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’. Reports are that the movie’s shoot got wrapped up earlier this morning. Yet, there a balance part of post production which is expected to be completed in a few days.

Although, the makers have earlier locked the release date of the movie as January 13, due to possible delay in censoring, the movie will have options like 13th or 14th or 15th of this month for its release. Whatsoever, the movie is surely going to be released for this Sankranthi itself.
