While promoting his latest production, Band Melam, featuring the lead pair Roshan and Sridevi, writer-producer Kona Venkat revealed that he, along with KS Bobby, narrated a story to Hrithik Roshan. Kona added that Hrithik was reportedly impressed and “shaken” by the concept. Known for his strong Bollywood connections, Kona’s claim, if it materializes, could mark a significant moment for Tollywood.
However, industry insiders note that simply making comedy films with action and drama is no longer enough. Filmmakers like Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla, who once thrived with such formulas, have struggled to maintain relevance. The success of this potential Bollywood project will likely depend on the strength of the script and fresh storytelling.
Trump Says US in Strong Position as Military Campaign Against Iran Escalates
US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States is in a commanding position in its military campaign against Iran, with senior Iranian leaders increasingly being targeted. Everybody that seems to want to be a leader, they end up dead,” Trump said.
