Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s nod to do ‘Thani Oruvan’s remake is considered to be a wise decision by the movie buffs. Jayam Ravi played hero of the film while Arvind Swamy reprized the main villain role in the original version. Apart from Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy was also lauded by the audience for his cool and subtle performance as an antagonist.

As the makers have reportedly roped in Arvind Swamy as the main villain of Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’, some of the fans and anti fans expressed their doubts if Arvind Swamy’s character dominates Ram Charan’s role in the movie. Following analysis might give them the clarity on their doubts.

WHY THAT CRAZE FOR ARVIND SWAMY IN TAMIL NADU?:

After his reentry into Kollywood, Siddhartha character of ‘Thani Oruvan’ was the best one for Arvind Swamy. It must also be admitted that Jayam Ravi is not that big star in Kollywood like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith and Suriya to mesmerize the audiences dominating Arvind Swamy. Even then, Jayam Ravi got great fame with ‘Thani Oruvan’.

WHY ARVIND SWAMY CAN’T DOMINATE Ram Charan IN TELUGU REMAKE?:

As mentioned above Arvind Swamy’s character enters only after 50 minutes of the start of the play. Besides, hero and villains’ mind games and confrontation scenes will make mass audience go crazy on Ram Charan’s heroic acts. All in all ‘Rakshak’ ( tentative title) is expected to strengthen the super stardom of Ram Charan while Arvind Swamy maybe showered with numerous opportunities as a villain and character actor in movies.

A young and energetic hero seems to have no fear on Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Dictator’ such that he is all st to combat with Balakrishna with his new movie slated for release on the same day of ‘Dictator’s release.

This is not about Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’ we are talking about. This is all about young hero Sharwanand’s ‘Express Raja’ we are discussing. The makers have zeroed the movie’s release date as January 14. Incidentally, ‘Dictator’ is also slated for release on the same day. Sankranthi, now, turns more interesting with the entry of Sharwanand.

As we know, ‘Express Raja’s theatrical trailer has full of hilarious scenes among top comedians of Tollywood. Surabhi has done the female lead of the movie. Praveen has composed the music of the movie. Merlapaka Gandhi has directed the movie on UV Creations.

Being an extreme perfectionist in whatever the assignment he takes up, Mohan Lal is these days spending good amount of time to learn Telugu before joining the sets of ‘Manamantha’ to be shot in direction of Chandrasekhar Yeleti. Superstar Mahesh Babu who is presently working for Srikanth Addala directing Brahmotsavam is soon going to team up with Tamil star filmmaker AR Murugadoss for a full-fledged action entertainer. The Telugu-Tamil bilingual that will have Vijay playing male lead in Tamil version will be made of more than Rs 100 crore budget. Set in the backdrop of Mumbai, Murugadoss is ready with bounded script.

Mahesh usually likes to work with Telugu directors. But the Dookudu star gave nod to the project when Murugadoss, who claims to be an ardent fan of Mahesh Babu, narrated him an engaging script, which he is expecting to create wonders at box office.

Star hero films will have at maximum Rs 50 crore budget, although, Baahubali won’t come into the list. But, producers of Mahesh, Murugadoss film are spending such heavy amount on non-periodic or non-sci-fi thriller, believing in Mahesh’s market stamina, director Murugadoss’s integrity and his script. Mahesh’s last movie Srimanthudu made Rs 100 crore business worldwide for full run.

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is likely to play Mahesh Babu’s love interest in the movie that will have cinematography by Santosh Sivan and music by Harris Jayaraj.

Naga Babu’s son, fondly called as ‘Mega Prince’ by fans, Varun Tej is all set to do another movie under the direction of Krish. His previous movie with the same director, Kanche, has won him critical acclaim and proved his capabilities as an actor.

Varun Tej tried his hand at mass masala with Puri Jagannadh’s Loafer that didn’t give him the desired break. Now Varun is back to experimenting as his new film under Krish direction is a spy thriller. Krish has the knack of trying out different genres all the time.

After making a romantic drama in the backdrop of World War II, Krish is now trying another genre that is rarely touched in Tollywood. Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho had a grand audio launch a couple of nights ago. One of the major attractions during the audio launch was the yesteryear’s family hero turned macho actor, Jagapathi Babu.

Jaggu Bhai, with his speech, got NTR fans both excited and confused at the same time. Speaking at the audio launch event, Jagapathi Babu drenched NTR with limitless praises for his exceptional acting prowess.

Jagapathi Babu even said that he had to compete with NTR and act to his full experience to match up with NTR’s acting talent. Finally, Jagapathi Babu said to ecstatic NTR fans asking them to be ready for ‘Alludiki Prematho’ and that he will talk about it in the near future.

This got the fans totally puzzled as they started wondering if the Nannaku Prematho team is planning a sequel to the film with the title Alludiki Prematho or if both Jagapathi Babu and NTR are playing Mama-Alludu in Nannaku Prematho.

Well, whatever running down Jagapathi Babu’s mind, we will surely get more clarity once the film releases on January 13th.

Nannaku Prematho is back in the reckoning thanks to the trailer that was released 36 hours ago. What’s surprising is that the trailer of the film has got an astounding response. Already it has crossed one million mark. A feat that was accomplished only by S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali within 36 hours of the release of the trailer.

Directed by Sukumar and with NTR Jr as its main lead this film was one film that is much awaited for the coming Sankranthi season. NTR tweeted that he was clueless about film’s release and kicked up a small controversy but all this is a thing of the past now. The trailer has got a tremendous response.

The fight between babai and abbayi is getting tougher as the release day is approaching. Nannaku Prematho has Rakul Preet as NTR’s leading lady. NTR’s look has already been appreciated that he looks stylish. Others in the cast include Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad and Brahmanandam. The film is produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.

Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming film Killing Veerappan has courted yet another controversy as a petition is filed in Madras High Court seeking stay on the film’s release. Alleging that the film is based on “false” Operation of killing of dreaded smuggler Veerappan, petitioner Paneerselvi of a village in Salem district alleged that the “entire movie is filled up with false information which is nothing but creating law and order problems in Tamil Nadu.” Paneer cited the film’s trailer and stated that film is full of “false information”.

Ahead of film’s release in Telugu on Jan 1st, the petition seeking stay on release is definitely not a welcome thing. Clarifying on the news, producers stated that the petition can’t affect the film’s release. “We are following it up. Nothing to worry about. First of all the film is not in Madras jurisdiction. We’re not releasing the Tamil version as well. And alll allegations made in the petition are false,” said executive producer Sudheer Chandra in a statement.

Not long ago, makers have ironed out differences with Veerappan’s wife Muthu Lakshmi when the latter filed case against the film that it’s portraying Veerappan in poor light. After that controversy, fresh legal trouble seems to be emerging.

YSRCP’s firebrand Nagari MLA Roja kicked off a major political storm in the recent winter assembly sessions when she lashed out at the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and several other ruling party MLAs with alleged abusive language. Roja was even suspended from attending the assembly sessions for a year.

In her latest interview, Roja said that she neither insulted anyone nor used unparliamentary language and that the matter was blown out of proportion due to the over enthusiasm of TDP MLAs. Roja further said that despite the controversy, she shares a decent rapport with several TDP leaders.

Roja then revealed about her relationship with her Bhairava Dweepan hero and TDP’s Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna. Roja said that Balayya is a well behaved gentleman and that he admires and respects her so much that he doesn’t even treat his other heroines such way.

Roja revealed that Balayya always asks her about her’s and her family’s well-being whenever they meet each other in the assembly premises.
