Son’s Stroke To Tollywood
Recently, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ Speedunnodu released amidst high hopes after it was sold at astonishing prices. The film failed to collect at least half the investments to its buyers. Incidentally, even Sai Sreenivas’ debut film, Alludu Seenu, ended up as a colossal disaster and sent his father and once a top producer Bellamkonda Suresh packing.
Suresh is still reeling under the huge losses incurred with Alludu Seenu’s failure. However, there are many more such producers who failed to sustain their sons’ careers but instead went into hibernation after the films tanked heavily. Veteran giant Dasari failed in launching his son Arun Kumar with Greeku Veerudu.
The list goes on with the likes of MS Narayana’s son Vikram, Brahmanandam’s son Gautham, EVV Satyanarayana’s elder son Aryan Rajesh to name a few. AM Ratnam, once a top producer down south, too had to undergo the dark phase when both his sons, Ravi Krishna and Jyothi Krishna, gave him a series of shocks when all their films tumbled at the box-office.
Also, MS Raju, who made matinee idols out of Mahesh Babu and Prabhas, tasted a huge disaster when he launched his son Sumanth Ashwin with Thuneega Thuneega and it kept him out of limelight till now.
Even Mohan Babu took a break from production after most if his films featuring his sons failed to click at the box-office. And this Friday, Dialogue King Sai Kumar will test his luck as he produced his son’s Garam, hoping that this film will pull him out of his flop streak.
Teja’s Villainy Life To Angry Hero
Dashing director Teja is specialist in designing villain roles. In fact, Teja presents his villains more powerful than his heroes. The director’s new invention for his next film is angry hero Rajasekhar. Yes, the senior actor will be playing a negative role in Teja’s new picture Aham. Teja is planning to rope in a well known face to play Rajasekhar’s romantic interest in the picture.
Other details about the project will be announced soon by the makers and Teja is presently busy fine-tuning the script. Rajasekhar essayed negative roles in his starting stages of career and later he chose to do only protagonist roles. His current form is unimpressive with flops.
It’s been long time since he scored a considerable hit. Although Rajasekhar first hesitated to do negative role in Teja’s film, he accepted it when the director narrated him the story and the character’s importance.
If this film clicks, then Rajasekhar would continue doing antagonist roles in few more pictures. On the other hand, Teja who is going through tough times is wishing to enjoy success with Aham that will start rolling soon.

Nagababu Recommendations To Pawan
Mega brother Nagababu is busy these days with reality shows and serials in small screen, although he is appeared on big screens on the odd occasions. Good thing about Nagababu is he is encouraging his TV show artists by recommending them to his younger brother Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
Why would Pawan refuse the recommendations, when they are coming from his brother! In Sardaar Gabbar Singh, almost most of the popular artists from Jabardasth like Shakalaka Shankar, Sudigali Sudheer, Venu Wonders etc. will be seen essaying hilarious roles as police constables.
In fact, most of these Jabardasth artists are Pawan Kalyan fans and they are thanking Nagababu for recommending them to their favourite star. Besides Sardaar, the Jabardasth actors are doing few other films in Telugu.
Especially, Shakalaka Shankar has become popular in no time because of his superb comedy timing. Coming to Sardaar, the film is going on at brisk pace with its shoot. Directed by Bobby and co-produced by Pawan Kalyan in association with Sharrath Marar and Eros International, Sardaar is due for release on April 8th.
Nagarjuna keeps Dil Raju waiting
Dil Raju has been hunting for a hero to take up Yevado Okadu since Raviteja walked out of it due to creative differences. Raju believes Nagarjuna will be apt for the lead role. He actually wants to cast Nagarjuna because the King is having a dream run at the box office lately.
However Nagarjuna is not in a hurry to sign up movies as the solo lead. Nagarjuna is currently focused on Akhil’s career as the young hero failed to leave a mark with his debut. Nag wants to make sure that Akhil’s second film is in safe hands before he gets busy with this next film.
Although Nagarjuna has shown interest in working with Dil Raju, he is yet to give a nod to Yevado Okadu. Dil Raju is waiting for Nagarjuna’s approval and in the mean time he is releasing Oopiri starring Nagarjuna and Karthi in Nizam.
Nagarjuna’s Manam and SCN have collected more than Rs. 10 crores share in this region. So the producer is hoping Oopiri to complete the rare hattrick for Nag. Dil Raju is releasing this movie in Nizam on percentage basis.
Acid Test For Sunil
After being a star comedian, Sunil moved on to the lead roles. Though he started on good note with films like Andala Ramudu and Maryada Ramanna, he eventually lost the steam. Of late, Sunil has been completely written off.
Especially after his duds like Mr Pellikoduku, Bhimavaram Bullodu, Sunil is going through lean phase. The situation too is no different within the industry. While his next Krishnashtami is all set for release next week, there’s no much craze. It’s an acid test for Sunil as he has to prove himself again.
In addition to this, poor promotions of the film are dampening Sunil’s chances to bounce back. Producer Dil Raju, as usual, is not spending much for the film’s publicity. Also, the delay in the film too not favouring conditions. Hope Sunil will soon overcome this and will be back with a bang.
