Shankar Thanks Pawan Kalyan
Jabardasth fame comedian Shakalaka Shankar is a diehard fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan. He performed few skits dedicating them to his demigod. His hard work and long wait is paid off with Pawan Kalyan giving him a chance to star in his upcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
Pawan Kalyan did another favour to Shankar by introducing the comedian’s brother Varahala Babu to films with a small role in his film. Shankar thanked Pawan Kalyan stating, “I thank Pawan Kalyan and Sardaar team for giving my brother Varahala Babu a chance in the film.”
Apart from Shankar, Sardaar team has roped in several other Jabardasth artists in their film. Apparently, Pawan Kalyan’s brother Naga Babu, judge of Jabardasth show, might have recommended them to the makers.
Interim, Sardaar shooting is fast progressing in Hyderabad in a village set where the production unit is caning crucial sequences on the lead cast. The Bobby directorial is all set for a grand release on April 8th.
After Mom, Daughter Tribute To Baahubali
Baahubali fever was throughout the country, before and after release of the film. The kilkil language was one of the special add-ons for the film. Pop singer Smitha tribute Baahubali team by releasing a special song on Kilkil- titled Baha Kilikki.
Baha Kilikki went viral on net and the video has crossed 1 million views. Now, Smitha released her daughter Baby Shivi’s version of- Baha Kilikki which is again doing rounds in social platform. The song is as cute as the little one Shivi. Like her mom, Jr Smitha is also a daring doll.
She crooned the peppy track like an experienced and well trained singer. The last few lines, Shivi seen singing flawlessly is pleasant to watch. Smitha used to sing pop albums and also sing songs in films. After her marriage, she took break and now she is ready to enthral her fans again. What’s more, she is encouraging her little daughter Shivi to become a singer!
GHMC Shocker: TRS Lost Deposits In 15 Divisions
In the recently concluded GHMC elections, the ruling TRS party created history by winning 99 seats out of 150, and trounced its rival parties. However, the complete details of the election results released by the election commission shocked many of the TRS cadres and sympathisers, who are celebrating this historic victory.
Out of the 150 seats it contested, TRS lost deposits in as many as 15 divisions showcasing the anti-incumbency prevailing among the GHMC voters. On the other hand, the MIM party, which contested in limited seats, saw 10 of its candidates losing deposits.
While TDP, which stood second in 86 divisions lost deposits in 36 divisions, its alliance party BJP lost its deposits in 20 divisions. Congress’ situation is pitiful to say the least with as many 126 of its candidates losing deposits. Lok Satta and BSP lost their deposits in 25 and 55 divisions respectively. Low voter turnout is said to be the main reason behind these shocking figures.
Allu Hero Surprise Entry in Supreme!
Sai Dharam Tej-starrer Supreme is in news for all right reasons. The film has been making good noise of late. The latest is that Mega hero Allu Sirish would be seen in a surprising cameo in Supreme. Towards climax, there’s a scene where Allu Sirish arrives and enthralls mega fans.
And it’s heard that there’s some connect with film and it’s not forced. Featuring Sai and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, the film directed by Anil Ravipudi of Pataas fame turned out to be hot cake.
The film’s total rights were sold to Abhishek Pictures and adding more masala to it, producer Dil Raju is again trying to buy the film’s theatrical rights for Nizam from Abhishek. And the negotiations are going on. If all goes well, the film will be released sometime in March.

After gaining fame as one of the hottest anchors in the Telugu TV circuit, Anasuya turned a successful actress and increased her fan base and popularity. Unfortunately, with fame, Anasuya also got a lot of abusive comments from cyber jerks about her outrageous dressing style, being a married woman and a mother.
Even though she was taken aback by the rude comments on her fashion and profession, Anasuya didn’t budge and gave a fitting retort to her trolls and abusers in a stern post on her Facebook page. Anasuya clarified saying that whatever she does on screen, TV or during events is strictly her profession and that it is nobody’s business.
The hot beauty further said that she is thankful to god for having an understanding and supportive husband. Anasuya then suggested her ‘frustrated’ abusers to keep her at bay if they didn’t like her and advised them to concentrate on their lives and prosper in their careers.
Lastly, Anasuya even apologized to her abusers if their feelings are hurt with her comments. Soon after her post, Anasuya was flooded with numerous supportive messages and compliments from her fans, to which Anasuya expressed her heartfelt gratitude.
Nannaku Prematho Going Japan
Young Tiger Jr NTR is sometimes called as Thalaivaar by his fans. Like the original thalaivar Rajinikanth, NTR also has good fan base in Japan and in fact his fame is mounting up for each film in the country. With continuous requests from Japan fans, NTR and his makers have decided to release Nannaku Prematho in Japan.
The Sukumar directorial will have theatrical release in Japan on February 14th in few centres with Japanese subtitles for convenience and for easy understanding of local fans. It is also heard that, Japanese dubbed version of Nannaku Prematho would release sometime in summer.
Dil Raju will be releasing the film in Japan in association with a local distribution company IndoEiga. Nannaku Prematho is a very special movie for young tiger Jr NTR since it was his 25th film and made him to 50 crore club, director Sukumar as his dad was inspiration to make it and music director Devi Sri Prasad who dedicate the album for his dad Sathyamurthy died when the film was in its last stages.
Nannaku Prematho film unit hope, the father-son bonding and the emotional elements will connect well with Japan audience too.
Trailer Talk: A Riveting Thriller Every ‘Kshanam’
The theatrical trailer of Kshanam has been launched by Mahesh Babu and Samantha just a while ago. Produced by PVP Cinema, Kshanam is directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu. Actor Adivi Sesh, who plays a central role in the film, also co-wrote the script.
This riveting kidnap drama also has Anasuya and Adah Sharma in crucial roles. The trailer starts off in the US showing a suave Adivi Sesh as Rishi. Rishi left India because of his ex-lover Swetha. He gets a call from Swetha, which compels him to come back to India on a mission.
Swetha requests Rishi to trace her kidnapped daughter. Rishi sets out on his journey to know the whereabouts of Swetha’s daughter and in the process, he meets Anasuya, a cop, who helps him in his mission.
A flashback shows Rishi’s deep relationship with Swetha, before it again comes back to the gloomy present, which now involves goons who are tipped to eliminate Rishi. After a series of flashy investigative shots and Rishi coming face to face with the goons, the trailer ends on an interesting note with Rishi asking Swetha if she really has a daughter. Kshanam is slated for a March 4 release.
Salary Hike? T-MLAs Want 3 Lakh Per Month
Telangana cabinet has sent a note to the Telangana Chief Minister Office seeking huge hike for the legislators of Assembly, Council. Apparently, MLAs and MLCs of the new state of Telangana are demanding a whopping 216% hike in their salaries.
From Rs 95000 per month, T- legislators want salaries to be hiked to at least Rs 3 Lakh. Calling the present salary as ‘grossly inadequate’, already request regarding the same has been submitted to the CMO and CMO would likely to take an appropriate decision on this soon.
Corroborating the demand, Deputy CM of Telangana Mahmood Ali in a TV interview stated that the state government will consider reasonable hike in salaries of MLAs, MLCs.
This is not all. Much to the shocker, Mr Ali has dubbed the MLAs and MLCs as ‘poor’. If salaries are hiked as per the latest demand, this wound cost public exchequer extra Rs 35 Crore per annum.
Nani Thigh Slapping Moment
Hero Nani playing Balayya fan in his upcoming film Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha is common knowledge by now. And latest buzz is that Nani slaps his thigh in the film. Nani essays the role of Krishna Gaadu in the film who is a coward.
Apparently there is a scene in the film where Nani has to fight a lot of goons and there is a funny moment and there he’s slap his thigh. It’s not imitating anyone but only done for banter. Shot extensively in Hindupur, Uravakonda and surroundings of Anantapur, the film’s story has connection with Nani being Balayya and his Balayya tattoo in the film.
Nani’s next would be with director Mohana Krishna Indraganti who directed Nani’s debut right years ago. Nani say’s it’s going to be most commercial film in Mohan Krishna’s career and says he can’t reveal more anything as of now as it’s too early to talk about.
Babu’s Grand Plans For Viraat
Thanks to the efforts of AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Vizag will soon get INS Viraat, the oldest active aircraft carrier in the world, once it is decommissioned by the Indian Navy at Mumbai in the next few months.
As per the senior officials at the AP tourism department, Babu edged out a tough competition from Karnataka to get the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi’s nod to make Vizag as the final resting place for INS Viraat. And Babu already has grand plans for INS Viraat to make it a major tourist attraction. Initially, the officials wanted to turn INS Viraat into a museum.
However, after realizing that it won’t be enough for revenue generation, plans are now being chalked out to set up spacious conference halls, luxurious 5 star and 7 star hotels and resorts in 500 rooms on the aircraft carrier.
While Kakinada and Vizag were in race to host INS Viraat, Vizag stole the advantage with prospects of better revenue thanks to its airport connectivity. Also, Vizag being the headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command, getting any sort of technical help from the navy becomes easier, opined the AP tourism department officials.
INS Viraat is a conventional steam propelled ship which was commissioned into the Indian Navy on May 12, 1987. The ship spreads across an overall length of 227 metres and 46 metres breadth and it is capable of carrying 30 aircraft.
Case Filed For Actress Vulgar Talk In Temple
Adult star Sunny Leone is regularly hitting headlines for both good and bad reasons. The actress herself feels as an introvert that is making her not making any new friends in industry. But, entire industry backed the bombshell when she was trolled in an interview.
Coming to the actual point, an FIR has been filed against Sunny Leone, her Mastizaade co-stars Vir Das, Tusshar Kapoor and director Milap Zaveri over an objectionable scene in the film. In the scene in question, Sunny Leone and Vir Das are shown to be promoting a condom brand inside a temple.
As per the complaint filed by advocate Gaurav Gulati, the actors were seen discussing about condom inside a temple. It may be recalled that, the same advocate previously lodged cases against SRK and Salman for entering temple wearing shoes while shooting for Bigg Boss 9.
Mastizaade is an adult comedy where Sunny Leone was seen in dual roles. The film was initially slated to release in May 2015, but it was postponed for almost six months by the Censor Board owing to its sexual content. The movie had good openings with 19 Cr on first 2 days, but it ended as a flop due to poor reviews.
