Usually, Naga Chaitanya is seen attending major Tollywood events alongside his wife Sobhita Dhulipala. Ever since their marriage, the couple has made joint appearances at several prominent industry gatherings.
However, at two recent high-profile events, Sobhita’s absence caught everyone’s attention and has since become a talking point. The pre-wedding celebrations of Allu Sirish were held on a grand scale, with several Tollywood celebrities in attendance. Members of the Akkineni family reportedly arrived together, but Sobhita was not seen at the venue. Chaitanya went on stage alone to convey his wishes to Sirish and Nayanika.
A similar situation unfolded later at the wedding reception hosted for the industry by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Once again, while Akkineni family members were present, Sobhita did not attend. Chaitanya greeted the couple and left shortly after.
At a time when actors like Rana Daggubati, Ram Charan and Nani are often seen attending events with their spouses, Chaitanya’s solo appearances have fueled fresh speculation.
Earlier, rumours had circulated about Sobhita’s pregnancy after some media outlets speculated about a visible baby bump during one of her saree appearances. However, those reports were later dismissed as baseless. Sources close to her have strongly denied the pregnancy rumours, clarifying that she is not expecting and has even signed a few new film projects recently.
For now, speculation continues in industry circles. Many believe the gossip will subside only when Sobhita makes her next public appearance. Until then, discussions around the Akkineni family’s daughter-in-law are unlikely to fade.
