I Felt Like I cheated Mahesh : Sukumar
Super Star Mahesh Babu believed in Sukumar and gave him a chance to direct him. Infact, many top directors are waiting to direct Mahesh and Sukumar was considered lucky before 1 Nenokkadine happened. But the result was otherwise.
Though 1 Nenokkadine was considered a cult classic and path breaking movie, it cannot cater to all sections of audience. Movie has received huge negative acclaim which resulted in disaster result. Mahesh Babu has no regrets doing 1 Nenokkadine and even considered this film as more special.
Sukumar on the other side hasn’t responded about the movie’s result since then. But in the recent media interaction for Nannaku Prematho release he did talk about 1 Nenokkadine and Mahesh.
He felt guilty and cheated Mahesh. “I much more dissapointed than anyone with the result of 1 Nenokkadine.
Mahesh and his producers believed in me so much and invested huge but I didn’t reach expectations and delivered a failure product. I felt like I cheated Mahesh. I will give a path breaking hit to Mahesh, If he considers giving another chance to me” said Sukumar.
Mokshagna Gives 8/10 Rating!
Not many know that Nandamuri Mokshagna has a rare quality of judging movies. Mokshagna is apparently his dad’s critic where he objectively analyses his dad’s films. Mokshagna in the past has rated his dad’s films after watching them and incidentally the films fared at Box Office as per Mokshu’s predictions.
Mokshagna in the past rated 6/10 for Legend. And the movie turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in Balayya’s career and the film went onto rake in moolah. Moksha, however, didn’t like Balayya’s Lion and the movie didn’t fare well at the ticket windows.
The latest is that Mokshagna has immensely liked Dictator. Soon after watching the film, Mokshagna expressed his pleasure and said his rating for the film is 8/10. With this total unit of Dictator were more than happy.
Balakrishna too happy that Mokshagna liked Dictator very much. Directed and co-produced by Sriwass, Dictator is all set for release on Jan 14 on the eve of Sankranthi.
Considering that Sriwass teamed up with Mass hero like Balayya after Loukyam success, expectations on film are way too high. Let’s wait and watch how many new records Dictator going to set.

KCR Became CM, Thanks To Sonia!
AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana state Congress party affairs Digvijay Singh has said that the Congress leaders have to work hard to come to power in the 2019 elections and GHMC elections were the starting point to them. Addressing the Congress activists at Chintal Basti here on Tuesday, Digvijay Singh called upon the party activists to undertake door-to-door campaigning and use social media — Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp etc. He said TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao would not have become Chief Minister in his life if AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi had not conceded Telangana State.
Alleging that KCR, who touched the feet of Sonia Gandhi after the creation of Telangana State, had ignored the contribution of Sonia, Digvijay Singh said the former was only doing two things — agriculture and business. Finding fault with KCR for neglecting farmers’ suicides in the State, Digvijay demanded that KCR tell where from he got Rs 7.5 crore for Ayutha Chandi Yagam. Stating that the Congress was the only party that would protect the Telangana people from KCR and TRS, Digvijay Singh alleged that MIM, RSS, Shiv Sena and BJP were resorting to politics of provoking communal differences.
TPCC Working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that the TRS party, with the fear of GHMC elections, brought MLCs from Warangal, Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar as ex-officio members to win the Mayor post. He alleged that the MIM and BJP were communal parties and they will rake up communal riots and asked the voters not to cast their vote to those two parties.
Pawan Disappointed His Fans!
The Jana Sena Party, founded by Power Star Pawan Kalyan, is understood to have decided to opt out of the contest in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections in support of the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata Party combine. It may be mentioned that Pawan Kalyan, while getting his party registered with the Election Commission, declared that his party would contest the GHMC elections.
It has triggered high hopes among his fans, who had reportedly submitted applications for the corporator seats in the GHMC elections. Some of the fans have even started campaigning in advance. However, Pawan has remained tight-lipped over the contest in GHMC elections and he remained elusive for his fans on the pretext that he was busy shooting for Sardar Gabbar Singh film.
Even though the notification process commenced on Tuesday, there was no clue from Pawan on the contest in GHMC polls. Inquiries revealed that he had told his close friends that the time was not ripe for his party to take a plunge into full time election politics. Moreover, it involved a lot of money and a structured party organization. So, it is better to stay away from polls at present, he told his followers.
Sankranthi Biggies Are With That Channel
Except for one film, satellite rights of other Sankranthi releases are with one channel. Gemini TV has acquired satellite rights of NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, Balakrishna’s Dictator and Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana, while Maa TV has bagged the rights of Sharwanand’s Express Raja.
Usually, Maa TV shows keen interest in buying big league films, wherein Gemini TV is second biggest competitor. Now, Gemini TV changed its strategy and has stunned one and all by bagging all the big releases coming out for the festival, that too by shelling out massive prices.
They invested 6.25 crore on Dictator, 6.5 crore on Soggade Chinni Nayana and 10.25 crore on Nannaku Prematho. Overall, Gemini TV spent Rs 23 crores on these three films, whereas Maa TV invested only 3.25 crores to purchase Express Raja satellite rights.
Interestingly, all the Sankranthi releases with different genres are targeted largely at family audiences, so such huge demand for satellite rights of these films.
In fact, competition was heavy for the three big films. Few other channels were also in the race, but Gemini TV picked them providing fancy offers to the producers.
Don’t Blame Pawan Kalyan!
The latest controversy erupted between actor Pawan Kalyan and Attarintiki Daredi producer Bhogavalli Prasad has left the movie buffs in great shock. Following the footsteps of Pawan, director Trivikram too lodged a complaint seeking his remuneration of Rs 2 Crore from Prasad. The whole episode, naturally, turned out to be can of worms between NTR fans and Power Star fans.
While few die-hard fans of NTR are blaming Pawan Kalyan over the timing of the controversy, fans of Pawan Kalyan are going all out in favour of Pawan. Many are questioning what’s wrong if Pawan asks his own and hard-earned money? Even after waiting for over two-long years (Attarintiki Daredi released on Sep 27, 2013), with Prasad not paying the amount, Pawan and Trivikram decided to act against Prasad.
According to reports, Prasad had apparently promised Pawan and Trivikram that he would pay the balance amount even before the release of his next film Nannaku Prematho. When Pawan’s staff tried to reach out to BVSN Prasad, Prasad reportedly didn’t respond.
This seems to have saw the ire of Pawan and Trivikram. Also at a time when Pawan, Trivirkam have option to move Producers’ Council against Prasad and could ask Council to not to release Nannaku Prematho until their dues are cleared, they both chose otherwise.
Sources in the know say that Pawan and Trivikram are professional and they didn’t have anything against Nannaku Prematho but all they’re fighting is for justice. Even Pawan fans don’t want to leave the issue.
Talk has it that Pawan fans are equally angry on the whole episode as many are dragging Pawan into wrong books. They’re of the opinion that unless and until injustice is meted out to him in person, Pawan won’t act in such way. Let’s see, where this whole controversy is heading to.
