Ratan Rajut, who came back in limelight after signing TV show ‘Jai Santoshi Maa,’ was allegedly molested on the sets.

Ratan who was a part of hits show called ‘Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya hi Kijo’ was a part of Bigg Boss also. Except for dramatic Swayamwar, she hardly could be in the headlines. But her latest show ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’ brought her back in news for her performance.

However, She was molested on the sets of the show by a light man. Ratan demanded an action, but her words apparently fell on deaf ears. She did not take it down and brought the shoot of the show to a halt. Eventually, the crew member was sacked and Ratan resumed the shoot. However, no one from the cast and crew has spoken out about the incident yet.

For a big movie to record biggest of collections, it’s the opening Box Office performance and first three days of shares would determine the overall range. This formula applies very well for big budgeted movies joined with star heroes. There is none other film in Sankranthi race bigger than ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and the reason is Junior NTR, Sukumar and BVSN Prasad forming a spectacular team.

Announcing the release date is not going to be the climax for a film. In fact, the real fight in current competition begins with securing of possible maximum number of release screens and then motivating Fans communities to propel the pre release buzz. For time being, nothing seems to be working on the part of Jr NTR with Nandamuri Balakrishna team giving their 101 percent efforts on release strategy of ‘Dictator.’

Reports are coming in about big names in Ceded and Krishna districts have accumulated huge number of screen count for ‘Dictator’ release and then giving a part of them to ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ making it very difficult for ‘Nannaku Prematho’ to get the volume it required. How far these influential equations would adversely affect Jr NTR Box Office calculations has to be wait and seen.

Entry of Dil Raju into Pongal race acquiring ‘Dictator’ theatrical distribution rights for Nizam region really made Balakrishna Fans go merry. In less than three to four days, Dil Raju’s name also getting attached to Sharwanand’s ‘Express Raja’ has sent a shocking wave because trade reports went against ‘Dictator.’ Yes, you heard it right. Eros International and Sriwass demanding high prices for ‘Dictator’ Nizam rights made Dil Raju to withdraw from the deal and bagged ‘Express Raja’ immediately.

Apparently, Dil Raju loves to play intelligent games betting safely on low or medium budget films with extra ordinary material. Of course ‘Dictator’ has the star value of Nandamuri Balakrishna and can be a big bet for Pongal but it doesn’t mean, other films have to be undermined.

Here comes big question from Nandamuri Fans circles on who is it dealing with distribution of ‘Dictator’ in Nizam now? If Dil Raju is really out of game, securing high number of screens can be a big problem for ‘Dictator.’ Let us see, what happens in next two to three days.

Tollywood’s macho man Rana Daggubati has become an overnight phenomenon nationwide thanks to the monstrous success of Baahubali and his menacing performance as the cruel Bhallaladeva. Rana won an immense fan adulation too  with the film’s gigantic success.

However, here are a couple of solo blockbusters which Rana did lose due to Baahubali. Apparently, director Anil Ravipudi first approached Rana for his blockbuster debut film Patas. Rana couldn’t accept the film as he was busy shooting for Baahubali.

And the second blockbuster which got everyone talking was Thani Oruvan, the smashing Tamil thriller which is going to be remade in Telugu by Rana’s close friend Ram Charan. While most of the credit for Baahubali’s success went to Prabhas and Rajamouli, the two missed blockbusters would have cemented Rana’s position as a solo star.

Sharwanand who bagged the much needed commercial success with Run Raja Run, once again stumbled at box office with Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju which did not work commercially but got critical acclaim. So he is trying his luck yet again with Express Raja on 14th. Here is the storyline of Express Raja as in rumour mills.

“A villain gang steals 75 Crore in the name of charity and converts it in to diamond. They tie it around a dog’s neck which reaches our hero, a dog hater. Sharwa hands it over to municipal authorities. But the villain gangs starts troubling him in all possible ways for the diamond. Finally he himself sets out to get the dog.

Rest of the story is what is in store for him in the journey”. The story does not have anything novel. The treatment and comedy should work out in such films to make it work with the audience. Lets see what Sharwanand has in store for this Sankranthi.

Rakul Preet Singh is the most happening heroine on Telugu film circuit. In a matter of just two to three years, she grew top in the ladder becoming a star heroine bagging excellent opportunities besides young star heroes. After ‘Venkatadri Express,’ never Rakul struggled to get the offers because luck favored her with Samanta, Kajal and Tamanna becoming monotonous as producers, directors and heroes were looking for new chemistry.

Thus the entry time of Rakul into big circles is coincidental with an upheaval shortage. Despite a truth that Rakup Preet Singh hasn’t enjoyed any hits in last year with row of failures in ‘Bruce Lee, Kick 2’ and average performances of ‘Pandaga Chesko, Current Theega,’ her demand did not show any dip. With ‘Nannaku Prematho, Sarainodu’ on sets, even Bellamkonda Suresh is reported to have approached Rakul for call sheets to act besides his son Sai Sreenivas in Boyapati Srinu directorial to be produced by Abhishek Nama.

At a time when Rakul is so busy romancing only star heroes, choosing Sai Sreenivas many not be a wise move but everything is a matter of remuneration and call sheets adjustment. So, Rakul kept the offer in pending along with quoting of Rs.1.5 Crore remuneration, said industry folks. Of course, that’s a huge among yet Bellamkonda can go for negotiations.

Kishore Tirumala, the writer cum director currently hogging the limelight with second directorial in Telugu ‘Nenu Shailaja’ is getting the rare applause with its decent success. These days along with direction, audience are also concentrating on who is into the writing department for some specific films and ‘Nenu Shailaja’ happens to be one such film which has got good importance for simple, straight and entertaining, emotional dialogue writing stuff.

Although Kishore worked as director and writer for a couple of Kannada and a Telugu film ‘Second Hand’ but none of them really kicked off with positive openings. It was the trust and belief shown by Sravanti Ravi Kishore on this failure director and the result is now encouragingly positive.

We now hear that, Kishore Tirumala is getting enormous calls from film industry people asking for stories and scripts. Although he isn’t committed for any other assignment till now officially, we need to wait and see… whom is he going to direct and who will be the producer?

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Vikrama Simha’ and ‘Linga’ turned out to be huge disasters at the box office. Rajinikanth needs to bounce back with his upcoming film ‘Kabali’. As we know, the Superstar is working for Shankar’s ‘2.0’ and ‘Kabali’ simultaneously.

Meanwhile, ‘2.0’ is being made as the India’s highly expensive film with an estimated budget of Rs.300 crores. Many Hollywood and Bollywood technicians are expected to work on this project. All in all, director Shankar as usually claims the credit of making such a dream project and Rajini comes as only next to the director.

However, ‘Kabali’s fate mostly depends on Rajini’s star power and the movie should be made with a comfortable budget. But then, ‘Kabali’ is also included with international stars like Taiwanese actor Vinston Chao and Malaysian actor Rosyam.. Eventually, the budget of the movie appears to touch the sky. We have to wait and see whether Rajini makes ‘Kabali’ a profitable venture nor does the movie becomes a cost failure. However, hopefully, the movie should be a huge blockbuster.
