Pawan’s Fans Showing Stars To YouTube
The second teaser of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s summer entertainer, Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been released this afternoon as a Sankranthi gift for fans. The trailer, although looks similar to the first one, still manages to pack a power punch as it showcased Pawan at his massy best, walking in slow-mo in a lungi.
But now, a huge suspicious difference between the number of views and likes the teaser received on its official YouTube channel is spoiling the euphoria to a large extent. Until a while ago, the teaser clocked more than 18k views. But the number of likes is a shocking 23k. This left many wondering if it was even possible to get nearly 4k more likes than the views.
While anti fans have been ridiculing Pawan’s fans enthusiasm in registering fake likes, many are also wondering if it’s a technical blot YouTube has been stuck into due to heavy traffic. Whatever it may be, Tollywood stars’ fans have of late been giving a really hard time to YouTube with their crazy fandom.
In the past too, YouTube witnessed some similarly unbelievable statistics for the trailers of Baahubali and Nannaku Prematho.
Settlers Developed Hyderabad, Not Locals
Stating that the Hyderabad city was developed only because of ‘Settlers’, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhary has asked IT Minister K T Ramarao, who threw a challenge to the Opposition parties that he will tender his resignation in case TRS party failed to grab the Mayor post, to take up election campaign only after tendering his resignation to his minister post.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Renuka demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tender an apology to the settlers for using filthy language towards them earlier. She said insecurity developed among the settlers when KCR stated that he would raze the Ramoji Film City with one lakh ploughs and also when KCR demolished the Ayyappa Society buildings.
Renuka said everyone was observing that Congress party alone was standing by the settlers’ cause. Finding fault with the TRS statement that it will provide protection to the settlers, Renuka said the Constitution was giving protection to the settlers and there was no need of giving special protection by the TRS government. She pointed out that the TRS party special love towards settlers was only because of GHMC elections.
Renuka also hurled a challenge at KTR that the latter has to make the MLAs, who joined TRS from other parties, to win again by offering resignation to their present positions if he had guts. She alleged that the TRS government has totally failed in extending the fees reimbursement, 104, 108 medical services. The KCR government’s achievements are farmers’ suicides and attacks on hapless women, she quipped.
Chiru To Get Elevation In Cong?
The Kapu phobia seems to be haunting even the Congress party, with the Telugu Desam Party as well as the YSR Congress party vying with each other to woo the powerful community in the coastal Andhra. While TDP is making every effort to appease Power Star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan to retain its hold on the Kapus, the YSR Congress party has also started wooing the Kapu community by roping in veteran director-actor Dasari Narayana Rao.
Apparently realising that it would be the biggest loser in the race, the Congress party bosses are breaking their heads to do something to attract at least part of the vote bank. At present, the only strong Kapu leader with the Congress party who can secure some votes for it in the elections is megastar-turned-Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi.
There were reports in the past that Chiranjeevi is not happy in the Congress party and that his brother Pawan Kalyan is trying to bring him into the Bharatiya Janata Party. In a bid to prevent the damage, the Congress high command is said to be contemplating elevating Chiranjeevi’s position by giving him a prominent position in the party.
Sources said Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi suggested taking Chiranjeevi into the Congress Working Committee during the proposed reshuffle of the AICC and the CWC in the coming days. That would be a big recognition for Chiranjeevi at the national level and it would help the party regain the confidence of Kapus. May be, the party feels Chiru might fetch some seats in Andhra Pradesh in the next elections.
Is Jagan Committing A Mistake?
The decision of the YSRCP to stay away from the GHMC polls has evoked mixed reactions from the common public. After a meeting at ‘Lotus Pond’, it was decided to stay away from the polls and the reason given was that the Party wanted to concentrate on strengthening itself from the grassroots level in Telangana and Hyderabad.
As of now, they have a very weak network in Hyderabad and contesting the polls would do the Party no good. Perhaps, the Warangal by-poll result also factored in the decision of the party. A lot of expenditure would be incurred by the YSRCP if they had decided to field candidates and it would have been in vain. Hence, on the face of it, some analysts feel that it is quite a wise decision by the Party.
They opine that there is no point in throwing good money after bad. However, die-hard fans of YSR feel that Jagan should contest at least in some constituencies where the party is capable of putting up a strong show. That way, the ideology of the YSRCP could be propagated to the public and having a token presence at least in the GHMC Council would not have been such a bad thing for the party after all.

He then worked on each character in the film including the Villain, the Heroine and other key characters. The look and feel, the color and tone of the film was then freezed.
With all the ground work in place the team went ahead to create the town of Rattanpur and a very authentic set has been erected in Hyderabad where the shooting is presently in fast progress. Sharwanand Compromised For Nagarjuna
Director Merlapaka Gandhi made banging debut with Venkatadri Express which provided huge profits to its makers. The director’s second film Express Raja starring Sharwanand released today. The talk in Film Nagar circles is that, Gandhi actually prepared the story for Sushanth.
As per this buzz, after the success of Venkatadri Express, Gandhi committed to do a project with hero Sushanth. Gandhi was paid Rs 25 lakhs as advance, out of total remuneration of Rs 75 lakhs. He worked on a script for seven months and narrated the story to Nagarjuna and other Akkineni family members. They refused the script, since they had some issues with it.
Then, Merlapaka Gandhi approached Sharwanand with same story without even informing Akkineni camp. Sharwa was very much impressed with it. The young hero who already had committed to do another film with UV Creations Banner after the decent hit of Run Raja Run, had introduced Gandhi to the producers who were also pleased with the script.
According to the same buzz, when Nagarjuna got to know about this, he demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore for leaving the production house and also for breaking their contract of making film under Annapurna Studios Banner. Sharwa who had mediated the deal had accepted to pay the amount from his remuneration. So, he did Express Raja for almost zero remuneration.
However, this is just a speculation in Film Nagar, because neither Akkineni camp, nor UV Creations had made any announcement on this!
