‘Bengal Tiger’ Becomes Biggest Mass Hit of This Year!
Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s ‘Bengal Tiger’ hit the screens today and received positive talk from all corners. Given the talk and Ravi Teja’s mass following at the box office is considered, the movie is expected to be a big hit at the box office.

Emotional RP broke into tears
Last night during a super hit musical show on a popular entertainment channel, noted music director RP Patnaik was extremely moved by a young singer’s heart touching rendition of Amma Ani Pilichina, a song based on mother sentiment.
Turning emotional, RP broke into tears and narrated an incident that took place sometime back in Guntur. RP was a chief guest at an old age home inauguration in Guntur. Several local politicians and villagers also took part in the inaugural ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, all the leaders and guests wished the old age home a grand success.
However, RP, during his speech, wished that the old age should not be successful, leaving everyone surprised. RP went on to explain that he does not want to see any parent being dejected by their children and taking shelter in an old age home like orphans.
RP further explained that parents sacrifice a lot in life to bring up their children and give them a better life and that the very parents need children’s support during their old age. RP also said that god may not be visible to us but the real gods who are visible in our daily lives are our parents. Quite a heartwarming and an important message to the society indeed.

Sushant no longer associated with YRF
Mumbai: When Sushant Singh Rajput bagged his first Yash Raj film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, the banner was eager to sign the actor for two more projects. Soon, Sushant’s next ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ was released, that had him in the titular role.
He was approached to be a part of YRF’s ‘Paani’ directed by Shekhar. To accommodate the film, Sushant opted out of Abhishek Kapoor’s next ‘Fitoor’. He was approached for ‘Ram-Leela’ before Ranveer Singh, but he rejected the film because of the YRF contract.
However, according to reports YRF has backed out, leaving Shekhar Kapur in lurch. The director had waited for three years for the film to roll and has now again met with a roadblock. Also, Sushant was promised Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’ but the makers decided to finalise Ranveer Singh instead. Sushant was apparently taken aback and hence decided not to associate with YRF anymore.
Baahubali Inspires Telangana Government
It’s really shocking, but the fact is, film piracy is a $1-billion market in India. Due to increase of smart phone users, piracy market has shifted online. There are 146 piracy websites in total and Rs 205 cr is the value of the top pirated site. Indian cinema is losing up to 30 per cent of their business to piracy.
Representatives of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) recently made a presentation to Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao, explaining Tollywood suffered Rs 361 crore losses because of piracy. Then the government set up country’s first anti-piracy unit – the Telangana Intellectual Property Crime Unit (TIPCU).
In fact, Baahubali inspired the government in setting up TIPCU. The SS Rajamouli directorial was uploaded online on the same day its release. TFCC tracked the key player of a film piracy racket at Jabalpur and arrested 10 others from his gang. It was later revealed that, the kingpin was an employee of a leading IT company. He used the company’s servers to store the films.
TIPCU’s main task will be to monitor online piracy and recommend blocking of websites. It will also prosecute the pirates and choke their revenue sources. The taskforce is expected to start work in the next few months. It will have representatives from cyber crime police, state IT ministry, internet service providers, the Telugu film industry, legal experts and financial experts.

The promot starts with the famous dialogue from ‘Karan Arjun’ ringing in the background as SRK and Salman make their entry. Coming face to face, SRK begins by saying, “Mei ab tak nahi bhula hoon teri koi baat,” to which Salman replies, “Aur teri har baat mujhe ab tak chubti hai,” and on they go. Building on their newly-established camaraderie, SRK is going to appear on an episode of the show to promote his upcoming film. And as all things King Khan, it’s going to be grand, thus calling for a special promo shoot for the episode. SRK will be promoting his upcoming film ‘Dilwale’ on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 9.
Shahid Kapoor starts shooting for ‘Rangoon’
Mumbai: The ‘Haider’ actor has started shooting for director Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ after taking a much needed break. Though the film’s shoot location has not yet been revealed, the star began shooting for the film on Thursday. After maintaining a beard for a long time, the actor shaved it off and just kept a sleek moustache, which is assumed to be his look in ‘Rangoon’.
‘Rangoon’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is a classic tale that is set against the backdrop of World War II. The director who wanted to work on this subject since eight years now, promises that the film will have the musical charm of Moulin Rouge, the romance of Casablanca and teh intensity of Saving Private Ryan.
In this love triangle, we’ll see Saif playing the character of a filmmaker, Kangana as an actress from the 40s and Shahid playing the role of an army officer. The makers of ‘Rangoon’ plan on releasing the film around October next year. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiawala.
Withdraw GO on mining, warns Jagan
Chintapalli (Visakhaptnam): Serving a stern warning to the TDP government against bauxite mining in the agency areas, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded the withdrawal of the GO which permits the mining activity in the tribal land. Addressing a large gathering in the agency area, the Leader of Opposition had called the bluff of Chandrababu Naidu on the bauxite mining and elicited the opinion of locals who were firmly against the mining activity which will have environmental, health and other hazards.
‘Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to the Governor in 2011 when he was in opposition stating that the state cannot carry out bauxite mining as it is hazards to the adivasis and after coming to power has written a string of letters to the Centre to get the second level of clearance which formed the basis of the GO no 97 allowing the bauxite mining. When there was strong resistance from the tribals, he first feigned ignorance of the Order and later said that it would be kept in abeyance. There could be no such practice like keeping a GO in abeyance and we demand that the GO should be cancelled forthwith and we will stand by the tribals and fight for their rights and see that the bauxite mining is not carried out,’ he assured.
There was an attempt by YSR when he was chief minister for bauxite mining but the decision was reversed and the formalities were stopped at the secondary stage, as he respected public opinion. But Chandrababu Niadu has no such respect for the sentiments of the locals. He has been blatantly telling lies that gram sabha had given clearance to the mining even as the former sarpanch, who belongs to TDP, has been categorically telling that no resolution was passed and no gram sabha was held on the issue. Chandrababu Naidu has filled the white paper with such lies and wanted to push through the issue, but we will not allow this to happen as it affects the very existence of tribals.
Chandrababu Naidu is avoiding setting up of Tribal Advisory Committee as 75% of the members should be tribal MLAs and YSRCP has won 6 of the 7 assembly seats reserved for adivasis. He fears that the proposal cannot be passed through the TAC, he said. When Chandrababu Naidu was Chief Minister earlier, he had cooked up the books and tried to give the mining rights to a Dubai based company but the Centre had prevailed and it was stopped. Later he tried to blame YSR though it was stopped in the secondary stage.
In 2011, YSR had died by that time, Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to the Governor that bauxite mining should not be carried out in the agency area as it would be detrimental to the environment which would be contaminated affecting the people living in the agency areas. After coming to power he made a U-turn. The Leader of Opposition has assured the tribals that he would stand by them and fight against the bauxite mining and demanded the Government to withdraw the GO permitting the mining activity in agency areas.
Jagan Fighting Against YSR Decisions!
The other day when YS Jagan openly promised to ban liquor, it became a big joke in political circles of the two states. Jagan’s amateurish statement led people to troll him on social networking sites. Political analysts too found it illogical.
Now Jagan waged war against the state government over the bauxite mining in Visakhapatnam. Holding a public meeting in Chintapalli of Vizag against the bauxite mining on Thursday, Jagan slammed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his government for giving permissions to bauxite mining.
But what’s shocking many is that the same decisions were also taken by the CM and father of Jagan Reddy, YS Rajasekhar Reddy. During the regime of late YSR, the liquor business grew manifold, touched new heights and numbers were all-time high then. YSR also gave permission to rampant bauxite mining during his tenure.

Tiger’s Pawan Kalyan Bhajana For Whom?
“Superstar Rajnikanth taruvata South India lo malli superstar evvaru raaru anukunnam. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan raleda?””Powerstar o party ki support chestey.. aah party elections lo gelichindi!!”
These are couple of dialogues written by director Sampath Nandi, that actually lift Powerstar to the sky. Probably after his exit from Gabbar Singh 2, this director isn’t expected to deliver so much about in his latest movie “Bengal Tiger” but he actually showered loads of praises on the Janasena boss.
It looked like a Bhajana on a whole with couple of scenes from Attarintiki Daredi getting spoofed in the film. Popular climax scene of Pawan’s AD was spoofed on 30 years Prithvi asks his brother to identify the acting talent in him. In another scene, Posani Krishnamurali is seen spoofing the ‘Look at my face in the mirror’ song of Pawan from Thammudu.
Getting hands crushed under the tyres, and making a granite slate broken on chest are some of Posani’s mimicking of Pawan for this particular spoof. Is this bhajana only to attract fans or Sampath has really shown his love for Pawan?
In another scene, Sampath has also prepared ‘Srimanthudu’ spoof for Prithvi, where the comedian utters parody dialogues of ‘Vaadni veedni dattatu teeskunta’. They sound fun, but serious lovers of industry hit films Attarintiki Daredi and Srimanthudu may not take it well.
