After his earlier movie ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ becoming a huge success, he is fixed that his next film too has to begin with B. So he chose ‘Babu Bangaram’. But, film pundits feel the name uninteresting.

They think the name is old fashioned and would not interest the viewers, particularly the youth. Many have even reportedly suggested to Maruthi to change the title. But, Maruthi is sticking to Babu Bangaram for obvious reasons. Let’s see if his sentiment works out and prove trade pundits wrong?

Advance bookings are not so encouraging indicating low interest of cine goers towards this film. All odds are against Raviteja, hope he pounces on the box office like Bengal Tiger to set it on fire.

The political union of Chandrababu Naidu and Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna has led to detachment of Nandamuri Harikrishna from the TDP. 10 years, riding on the back of discontentment of the people, the TDP has eventually came into power after 2014’s general polls.

With this it has been evident that there will be no more ‘Dictator’ship of Balayya on Ntr. Latest reports reveal a startling demand of Bollywood’s petite beauty Shraddha Kapoor. Apparently, his doting daughter of Bollywood Villain Shakti Kapoor was recently approached by the Mythri Movie Makers and the ABCD 2 actress’ shocking demand left them speechless.

Shraddha reportedly demanded a whopping 3.5 crores to romance NTR in the film. This is easily the highest ever remuneration quoted by any actress to act in Tollywood. So far, Nayanthara reached the 2.5-3 crore figure that too after giving a hat-trick of blockbusters. Anushka too is in high demand with 2 crore offers.

In a major relief for Bollywood star Salman Khan and millions of his fans, the Bombay High Court has acquitted the actor when it said that Salman Khan cannot be convicted in the 2002 Bandra hit-and-run case. The prosecution has failed to establish its case against the appellant accused (Salman Khan) on all charges, the court said.

Adding further, the Justice Joshi said that the prosecution has also failed to bring evidences on record to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Salman was driving and under the influence of alcohol and also, whether the accident occurred due to the tyre bursting before the accident or after the incident.

The court has also made scathing remarks against the Bombay police for the kind of investigation it carried out against the Bollywood star. The police have made special arrangements for Salman to attend the court before the final verdict was announced.

Several months ago, a sessions court convicted Salman of all charges in the case and awarded him a 5-year jail term. The actor was later freed on bail and he moved the Bombay High Court.

There is a proverb- like father like son. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s 9-Year-Old son Mahadhan is also very much crazy about films like his dad. Ravi Teja had waited years for right break and today he is enjoying star hero status. His son Madhavan who is interested in films is also willing to become an actor like his dad.

When asked the same during one of promotional events of Bengal Tiger, Ravi Teja replied, “Yes, my son is also mad about films like me. He not just watches lot of films, he also follows all styles. This generation kids are too fast. Let’s wait and see what happens in future.”

There have been speculations that, Bengal Tiger’s story was actually penned for Pawan Kalyan. But, it was made with Ravi Teja since the Power Star wasn’t too convinced with the script. “No, it is just a rumor. Sampath narrated this story line even before ‘Racha’. In fact, he registered Bengal Tiger title for Pawan Kalyan.

But, he thought the title would apt for this movie as well.” Meanwhile, Bengal Tiger has hit the cinemas today. Ravi Teja hopes the film will provide hat trick hits for Sampath Nadi who had already delivered two hits with Yemaindi Ee Vela and Racha.

Talking about his film Bengal Tiger, which is releasing this Friday, Ravi Teja says, “It’s not an extraordinary story, but a regular story with a commercial package.” “Director Sampath Nandi narrated this story to me nearly three years back. But both of us had commitments and that’s the reason it happened now,” says Ravi, adding, “Basically, Sampath is a good writer and I like his dialogues. So when he came up with this subject, I told him to develop it.” Talking about the title Bengal Tiger, Ravi says, “Usually people say that the Bengal tiger is an intelligent animal, thus we used that title. Nothing more than that.” The actor is romancing Tamannah and Raashi Khanna in this film. “This is the fist time both these actresses are working with me. It was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed thoroughly. Tamannah is already a proven star and Raashi Khanna is an upcoming actress, but both have passion and dedication towards their work. Very nice to work with such positive people and we became good friends,” says Ravi. In a song sequence, the actor lifts both the actresses. Asked about the feat, he says, “When I am in front of the camera my energy levels are always high. It was a momentary thing and when I did it, my dance master immediately says ‘yes’. We didn’t practice for that particular scene, I just did it spontaneously,” says the actor

He adds that he is never nervous before his films release. “Once a film releases, I don’t go deep into the result, I concentrate on my next project. I never dig into the past to analyse the reasons for a success or a failure,” he says. There have been reports that Ravi had blamed director Surender Reddy for the debacle of Kick 2. The actor clarifies, “That is all false news. I never blame anyone for any of my film’s failures. Ups and downs are common in the industry. I always maintain good relations with all my directors and other actors,” he says. He adds that some people enjoy spreading negative news. “Suri (Surender Reddy) and I are good friends and we will definitely work in the near future,” he says. He adds that he always keeps his professional and personal relationships apart. “If both get mixed then problems arise. I generally don’t like to talk about my private life in public. I don’t like comparisons too, because people have their own style. If my presence is required then I will do my part, otherwise I don’t come out. I don’t do anything for publicity. I do my part of social service, but I don’t want to talk about it and I don’t need publicity for it,” he says.

When asked about expanding his market into other languages he says, “Thanks to Rajamouli and his Baahubali, the Telugu market has opened up in other languages. It is just the beginning and now we have to cater to those audiences and the kind of subjects they like. Generally the Tamil audience’s taste is completely different. I am interested in doing films in other languages and it all depends on the right scripts,” he says. The actor says that he now wants to do an intense film and he is discussing the same with writers. “Yes, many young writers are meeting me and discussing ideas. I always wants to encourage new talent,” he says, adding that he is open to multi-starrers too.
