Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu, AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh Naidu will assume highest positions in Indian political arena in 2019. This prediction was made by TDP MLC Babu Rajendra Prasad. According to Prasad’s prediction, Venkaiah Naidu will become President of India, Chandrababu Naidu will become Prime Minister of India and Lokesh Naidu will become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after 2019 general elections.
He even challenged the media and public to make note of his predictions and see for themselves how they turned out to be real in 2019. He said these three Naidus are the future hope of India and AP, since all the other leaders and other political parties lack leadership skills, credibility and support of public. He said the Naidus are working day and night for the development of AP, which was reduced to a desert after bifurcation of United AP, losing capital Hyderabad and all other major employment sectors.

Chandrababu Doesn’t Know What To Do!
Poor Chandrababu. He doesn’t have a clue as to how to stop the jumping jacks from his party. More and more people are crossing the floor and are getting into the ‘car.’ Sayanna, who was a four time MLA, has joined the TRS recently. This has shocked Chandrababu to no end. To prevent another MLA Prakash Goud from crossing over, Chandrababu has offered him TTD board membership.
Prakash Goud has been talking to the TRS for quite sometime and is on record saying that he would join if the government gives adequate funds for his Rajendranagar constituency. But, Chandrababu should realise that even Sayanna was made TTD board member, but that did not stop him from leaving the party. If Prakash Goud too does the same, will he look for new MLA as TTD board member?

Ex-Minister Holds slippers for Rahul
The Indian National Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi and the party’s lawmaker from Puducherry have become subject for BJP and other opposition parties with their recent controversial act.
On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi visited flood-hit Puducherry. He was accompanied by V Narayanasamy, minister of state with the Prime Minister’s Office in the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government.
In a video, V Narayanasamy was seen holding a pair of slippers as Rahul Gandhi took off his shoes and walked barefoot in a flooded area. Then, this senior leader placed the slippers for Rahul who simply wore them without any protest. Speaking to media, Narayanasamy said that he had merely offered his own shoes.
“As a courtesy I offered my slippers as Mr Rahul Gandhi removed his shoes to walk barefoot in the water. Rahul carried his shoes throughout and he didn’t even let his security personnel carry them for him. I thought it was my responsibility that he (Rahul) has come to my state and should not get any injury. I am proud of it,” said Narayanasamy.
“He belongs to that school of thought that prioritises the dynasty. It does not believe in merit or age,” said BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli.
Chennai Floods: 17 Babies In 96 Hours
The waters have receded as of now, and people are slowly attempting to return to what is left of their homes in most areas of Chennai. If further flooding does not occur, then it may be safely assumed that the city has reached the post-impact phase of the disaster.
In a flood scenario like this, a Chennai based woman doctor worked for 96 hours to help deliver 17 babies at Apollo Hospital in the city. Dr Padma Priya camped at Apollo Speciality Hospital at OMR since last Friday to facilitate healthy delivery of 13 babies. Overall, 17 babies were delivered in the hospital during the flood time.
To overcome the challenges, consultant gynecologists and pediatricians at the hospital decided to stay at the campus to ensure that the newborns and their mothers were safe and healthy. ER and critical care surgeons worked round the clock to ensure quality medical care was provided to the patients.
“Despite financial problems owing to dysfunctional ATMs, expecting mothers and patients were given a warm welcome at the hospital and ambulances were deployed to bring in patients with emergency cases,” she said.
Hanuman Bridge To Sri Lanka on Indian Ocean
In a significant move that strengthen the bilateral ties between two neighbouring nations India and Sri Lanka, the Narendra Modi-led NDA government is all set to construct a bridge between two nations across Indian Ocean. The bridge is called as “Hanuman Bridge”. The Hanuman Bridge is built along the stretch of low-lying banks that connect India to Sri Lanka across the Palk Strait. The distance is estimated as 19 mile Palk Strait in the Indian Ocean.

His Sri Lankan counterpart, Ranil Wickremesinghe, who visited Delhi recently, is completley in favour of the bridge. In fact, Mr Ranil had proposed the construction of a land bridge across the Palk Strait when he was PM of Sri Lanka more than a decade ago. With this, both the nations are not lookin back and going ahead on this prestigious, historic significant of building bridge.
As per Hindu Mythology, in famous Ramayana lore, the story goes that Lord Rama had built this bridge (Ram Setu) with the help of Hanuman’s army Vanaras and walked into Lanka to rescue his wife-Goddess Sita from King Ravana. Still there are evidences, traces of this bridge on the ocean. Now Modi is going to do what Lord Rama did centuries ago and with the help of Sri Lankans!
Corroborating it, BJP said in a statement, “India and Sri Lanka plan to build a bridge across the Indian Ocean. They both are separated by the 19 mile wide Plak straits in the Ocean. This will help in developing inter connectivity and transport. The bridge is being referred as Hanuman Bridge.
The new Hanuman Bridge will improve the trade between the two countries, as well as exchange of commodities. It will also ease the lives of many Indian exporters. A reasonable fraction of India’s exports are shipped from the port of Colombo (Sri Lanka capital) mainly due to capacity shortage and lack of infrastructure in Indian ports.”

Telugu Desam Party senior leader and MLC Rajendra Prasad turned soothsayer. In a sensational prediction, Rajendra Prasad went onto predict that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will become Prime Minister of India by 2019. This is not all. He also added that BJP senior leader and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu will become President of India.
Talking to media persons YVB Rajendra Prasad said, “I won’t spare if anyone talk ill about Mr Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Venkaiah Naidu. Both are legends from our state. They’ll make all Telugus proud. In 2019, Chandrababu Naidu will become Prime Minister and Venkaiah Naidu will become President. Make a note of this.”
YVB further said that YSRCP has no moral right to criticise or point fingers at both Naidus. Lashing out at YSR Congress, Rajendra Prasad described Jala Deeksha as a publicity gimmick and alleged that the party has no sincerity.
U.S. Senators introduce law to cut H-1B visas by 15,000
Two American Senators have introduced legislation in the Senate proposing to cut the number of popular H-1B visas by 15,000 and that such a visa be given to highest wage earner first. The legislation in this regard was introduced by Senators Bill Nelson of the Democratic Party and Jeff Sessions of the Republican Party. “By cutting the number of visas available each year and requiring those visas be given to the highest wage- earners first, this bill directly targets outsourcing companies that rely on lower-wage foreign workers to replace equally-qualified U.S. workers,” Mr. Nelson said. Maximum 85,000 H-1B visas Currently every year a maximum of 85,000 H-1B visas can be issued including 20,000 for those who completed higher education in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The popular work visa has been given to a large number of IT professionals from India over the years. The bill proposes to reduce the number of visas available by 15,000.Prioritizing allocation It would also require the Department of Homeland Security to prioritize the allocation of these 70,000 H-1B visas to foreign workers based on their salary.
Mr. Nelson said the measure would help ensure that the H-1B visa programme was once again being used as it was originally intended: to attract foreign workers with highly specialised skills not found among the available U.S. workforce. Last month, Mr. Nelson and a handful of his Senate colleagues filed a separate piece of legislation to reform the H-1B visa programme. Advantage U.S. worker Specifically, it would prohibit any employer from replacing a U.S. worker with an H-1B visa holder, a media release said. It would also require employers to prove that they first tried to recruit American workers prior to hiring an H-1B visa holder and bar companies that employ more than 50 people from hiring any additional H-1B employees if more than half of their employees were already H-1B visa holders, it added. The H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialised fields.

New Delhi: The unthinkable has happened! The mother-son duo of Sonia and Rahul will actually appear in court to defend themselves. The High Court has said that prima-facie, there does exist criminal intent in the actions of the Gandhis in the ‘National Herald’ case and has directed them to appear before it on the 19th of this month. For decades, the Gandhi family has ruled India like it was their personal fiefdom and now the wheel has come a full circle.
Merely, the act of the Gandhis appearing in court will be in itself, a big victory for democracy. But what is the response of Sonia Gandhi to the charges framed against her? She says, “I am the daughter-in-law of Indira Gandhi. I am not scared of anyone. I am not disturbed.” What kind of an insane answer is that? She should refute the charges or provide evidence to the contrary. What does being the daughter-in-law of Indira Gandhi have anything to do with the issue in hand? Why take refuge in the legacy of Indira Gandhi when faced with criminal charges?
