In a sudden shock for all the fans, popular playback singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan suffered two heart scares this morning and he was immediately admitted to a hospital in Delhi. In a statement issued by Shankar’s spokesperson, the 48-year-old singer complained of uneasiness in his chest and his doctor advised him to get admitted to a hospital for a couple of days.

The spokesperson also confirmed that doctors treated Shankar for cardiac arrest in the ICU. Shankar’s condition is stable at the moment and he will soon be flying back to Mumbai. Shankar Mahadevan was to perform in Gujarat, but the show was cancelled following Shankar’s health condition.

A leading English news daily reported that when contacted, Shankar replied saying, “All is well…am absolutely fine now…Thanks.” Shankar won four national awards for his soulful renditions and he is also one of the most sought after music composers, along with his band members Ehsaan and Loy Mendoza. Shankar was to perform in Hyderabad later this month.

Ravi Teja who launched a new movie around the time of Dussera has not begun shooting for it. Although he is free except that his Bengal Tiger is due for release this weekend, the actor has postponed his plans of joining the shoot to next month. Ravi Teja who lost weight recently has now hired a nutrition who is overseeing his intake of food to be back in good shape in healthy manner.
