Dressed in a white one shoulder gown paired with a bandana, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star posted several pictures from the wedding, including pics from the ‘haldi’ ceremony. Sonam will be next seen in Neerja Bhanot’s biopic, Neerja.

Mumbai: Top Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra says she works 16 hours a day to get recognition and money and has no time to enjoy life. The national-award winning actress has become a household name not only in India but globally too with her American TV show ‘Quantico’. “Success is not a destination…. Success is a journey. You are successful if you are consistently successful,” Priyanka said in an interview here. Asked whether money matters, Priyanka said, “I do make money as I work very hard for what I do. I don’t sleep at night, I work 16 hours a day, I don’t have weekends or Birthdays or Diwali.” On whether Hollywood would be the next step, the 34-year-old actress said, “I have an agent in America since five years but I do work on my own terms.

I am a star here in Hindi cinema so I don’t want to do anything for the heck of it. I have no desperation to prove a point to someone. I would do films there if it excites me.” Earlier Deepika Padukone had revealed that Priyanka was the first industry friend she made in Bollywood. To which Priyanka added, “We had common friends… We used to meet for movies and dinners.” So is it possible to be friends with contemporaries, the ‘Mary Kom’ star said, “I can be friends with most of my colleagues I work with.” Priyanka and Deepika will be seen as Kashi Bai and Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Also starring Ranveer Singh as Peshwa Bajirao, the film releases on December 18.

New Delhi: From ‘Student of the Year’ to ‘Dilwale’, Varun Dhawan has made some interesting career choices and the actor is happy that his audience has always supported him. “I am growing with my audience. When I made my debut I was 24 and they have grown up with me. They are with me with each choice of mine. I have been lucky that children took a liking to me. The youth and the kids, they come and support me,” he told PTI in an interview. Varun made his debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 film and then went on to star in ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ but it was Sriram Raghvan’s experimental thriller ‘Badlapur’ that helped him garner critical acclaim. In ‘Dilwale’, slated to release on December 18, Varun stars as the younger brother of SRK. The actor reveals he was the first one to come on board the Rohit Shetty-directed movie. “I met Rohit sir a couple of times as I am a big fan of his work. I heard that he was making a film where he needs an actor of the senior generation and another from the junior one. And then I got the script. I was the first person to be offered this role, even before Shah Rukh sir,” said Varun, adding he will not hesitate to call a director if he liked his work.

“I will not do ‘chamchagiri’ but if I like a director, I will tell him that I like your work and I want to work with you. I would do that.” The actor says ‘Dilwale’ set had become like a family as they shot for 150 days. “You are bound to get attached as you are shooting for 150 days. No workshop can get this kind of chemistry unless you have a bond. It was like a real family, we got along so well. Shah Rukh sir called me on the first day and said, ‘if there is anything you ever need you call me’. He has always been there. He is just there for everyone.” ‘Dilwale’ is already one of the most anticipated films of the year and Varun is hopeful that the film will be appreciated. “It is not about money or success in those terms always. Sometimes, even to be appreciated is important. People think the effort is less in popular commercial cinema but that’s not true. There were very difficult action scenes. I am standing on a monster truck and jump from there. I look happy doing it but it is not easy.” Varun will be next seen in ‘Dishoom’, which will be directed by his brother Rohit Dhawan. John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna also star in the movie. “We have a big schedule in Abu Dhabhi in January. The movie has a lot of cool action.”

Sampath Nandi after the success of his Racha with Ram Charan was supposed to work on Gabbar Singh-2. He worked on the movie script for about 2 years but was later shown door from the project. Finally he managed to convince Raviteja for Bengal Tiger and is banking on the film for success.

In an interview, he was asked about how he felt after losing Powerstar’s project. For which Sampath Nandi said, “These kind of situations are very common in film industry. It was my dream to do a film with him, but due to some unexpected situations the project was shelved.

I felt very bad for some time but moved ahead in life”. Interestingly, Sampath Nandi’s first two films – Yemaindhi Ee Vela and Racha were big hits. Bengal Tiger which will release this Thursday will complete the hat-trick if it goes on to become a hit.

Tamil Star Hero and Superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush bagged the much needed success in Telugu with Raghuvaran B.Tech. Since then one after the other, all his movies are being dubbed in to Telugu.

His recent Tamil film, Thanga Magan is being dubbed in to Telugu as Nava Manmadhudu. The movie had finished its Telugu dubbing works as well as censor formalities very recently. The makers are planning to release the movie on December 18th.

They will begin the promotions of the film with the audio release event of the film on 11th of this month. Dhanush is expected to attend the event. Samantha and Amy Jackson are the female leads.

All eyes are on Chiranjeevi’s niece Konidela Niharika who is making her debut with Oka Manasu. Ramaraju is the director and Madhura Sridhar is the producer of the film, which will have Naga Shourya as the lead actor. The film’s shooting is currently going on and according to a source, the first schedule was completed recently.

Much before her debut, Niharika was already popular on television with her reality shows and she has also acted in a few short films. “She is a bundle of talent and is giving an extraordinary performance in the film. She will be a good actress in the future,” says a source from the unit.

We have been hearing about a possible sequel to Nikhil’s Karthikeya from various media sources from the past few days. Finally here is a clarification about the project from Nikhil himself. In an interview, he said, “The second part will start from where it was left off in Karthikeya.

We want to make this a genuine franchise. So will not be calling it ‘Karthikeya 2’. We will retain the title ‘Karthikeya’ and will add a tagline to it”.

Chandoo Mondeti who directed Karthikeya will wield megaphone for this sequel project. He is currently directing Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam. Karthikeya sequel will begin after that.

Several years ago, Puri Jagannadh launched Bollywood starlet Neha Sharma along with Ram Charan in Chirutha. However, Neha couldn’t manage to make a decent career in Tollywood and moved back to Bollywood. Years later, Neha’s sister Aisha was supposed to make her Tollywood debut with Ram’s Shivam but was dropped later.

After several months long wait, Aisha finally signed her Tollywood debut film in the form of Puri Jagan’s Telugu-Kannada bilingual “Rogue” that will also mark debut of producer CR Manohar’s son Ishaan as hero. But the much expected turning point is said to be Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, Premam remake, where Aisha was roped as leading lady for third and final love episode of the hero.

Aisha, however can’t live on these dreams for a long time as Majun unit is heard replacing her with Regina Cassandra. However, looks like Aisha’s Tollywood dreams are short-lived once again. As per the latest reports, the Majnu unit has replaced Aisha Sharma with Regina Cassandra.

Apparently, the makers screen-tested Aisha and Naga Chaitanya and come to a conclusion that Aisha looked too young opposite Naga Chaitanya. Hope Aisha’s bad luck in Tollywood will end soon after “Rogue” release and this selecting-and-dropping phenomena would scrap off.

After sizzling in a meaty song in SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali, there’s no looking back for Nora Fatehi. Though she is also seen in NTR’s Temper & Ravi Teja’s Kick 2, it’s Baahubali that brought her national recognition. Now the latest is that Nora is joining TV reality show Big Boss.

Nora is joining as a wild-card entry in the 9th edition of Big Boss. With the show being hosted by Salman Khan, the usually popular show got more attention.

Touted as India’s most popular Reality TV Series, the show follows the Big Brother format. Many see Big Boss as an easy entry into Bollywood. Let’s see whether Big Boss would overturn Nora’s fate or not.

Probably no other heroine would have made such a dashing entry, preparing to dance on the stage at an audio launch. Hot Mumbai model Disha Patani however stunned mega fans with her curvaceous waist movements at “Loafer” audio launch. If she’s Puri Jagan heroine, there will be loads of tempting glamour poured for the screen.

Otherwise our director will not be getting that kick as he knows what sort of commercial elements should be tapped from the leading lady. Same is the case with Disha Patani if the song teasers of Loafer are anything to go by.

And her stunning glamour show mixed with amazing moves at audio launch are stunner. Of course, it became tough to take eyes of her slim waist. Excited by her looks and dances, Mega fans declared her name as “Ileana 2” as they kept shouting it whenever she made her presence on the stage.

We have to see if she will click like an Ileana or not. Loafer is set for December 17th release, as per producer C Kalyan.

Energetic Hero Ram had mixed results in 2015. He had an average Pandaga Chesko at the start and Shivam which released in the second half of the year is an outright disaster. The movie just managed to collect 6.68 Crore share Worldwide in its full run bringing heavy losses to all those involved in the trade.

Ram in fact will have a pie of this losses as his uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is the producer of this film. And he has taken a share in the project as his remuneration.
