They thought ‘heavy weight’ Anushka Shetty would bulldoze her way to the box-office with her Size Zero. They even made the producers of Bengal Tiger to postpone their release so that Size Zero will have a free run at the box-office. Yet, all Size Zero could get was a big zero. The film couldn’t manage big openings. Despite her heavy weight, Anushka couldn’t simply carry the weight of Size Zero. After an ordinery first weekend, the film simply vanished from the radar.

‘Tanu Nenu’ was completely ignored, while ‘Kumari 21 F’ has zoomed into the second week with steady collections. It has succeeded in getting a super hit status. In the full run, the film is likely to get a share of Rs 15 crore. Sankarabharanam is released this week. Though a small film, the release has been planned big. With Nikhil getting into bigger league, the film has done a business of Rs 11 crore. If it gets a share of 12 crore, the film can be safely called a hit.

In announcing the birth of his daughter, Facebook Inc Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, declared they would donate 99 percent of their worth, the vast majority of which is tied up in Facebook Stock valued at $45 billion today.

In doing so, Zuckerberg and Chan did not set up a charitable foundation, which has nonprofit status. He created a limited liability company, one that has already reaped enormous benefits as public relations coup for himself. His P.R. return-on-investment dwarfs that of his Facebook stock. Zuckerberg was depicted in breathless, glowing terms for having, in essence, moved money from one pocket to the other.

However, Mark clarified that, he and his wife would receive no tax benefit from setting up their new charitable endeavor. “just like everyone else, we will pay capital gains taxes when our shares are sold by the LLC,” posted Zuckerberg on his Facebook page.

The entity called the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, would focus on areas like education and disease, he indicated the efforts would be similar to charity he and his wife had already supported.

Responding to a comment he would pay “zero tax” for the initiative’s investments that was made in reply to his Facebook post on Thursday, Zuckerberg denied that was the case. “Please don’t spread inaccurate information,” he posted.

Muzaffarpur: An FIR was today lodgedagainst Bollywood star Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district on a court directive for their controversial remarks on “intolerance.” Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha lodged the FIR against Khan and his wife at Town police station in Muzaffarpur district under sections 153 (Wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc), 153B (Imputations, assertions prejudicial to national-integration) and 154 (Sedition) of IPC.

The FIR was registered on the direction of the chief judicial magistrate, Muzaffarpur district, Sushma Trivedi, on a complaint filed by Ojha last week charging the actor with hurting the sentiments of the people by claiming that an atmosphere of intolerance prevailed in the country. Khan had, during a function in Delhi recently, courted controversy by saying that Kiran Rao was considering whether to move out of the country with their child due to the prevalence of an atmosphere of “intolerance.”

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif, who was present at the GQ Fashion night raised her concern over the recent Chennai floods. She said that she was very worried about the people stuck there and although not much can be done in a natural disaster, people should do every bit of relief work for the victims. When asked if she has any message for the flood-gripped city, Katrina said, “I do. My mom lives very near in the area…actually today I was very worried about it because someone had called me from there. Unfortunately natural disasters are not something that we can really do much about.

But I think if there are any groups or relief work that is happening, everyone should do their bit for sure.” Chennai, Tamil Nadu and neighbouring state Puducherry, have been receiving heavy showers of rains, which resulted in the disruption of flights, trains and left several areas inundated.
