If huge number of films are coming up from the same star hero every year, what will be the problem? There’s nothing a problem, but film industry will flourish big time. That’s not happening however, in the biggest camp of Telugu Industry from where half-a-dozen heroes are sizzling on Telugu screens. Yes, it’s the mega camp.

Forget about Pawan Kalyan who is still to touch his 25th film even after 20+ years of presence in Film Industry, even other big mega heroes are also treading in same path. After 8 years of his entry in Tollywood, Megastar’s son Ram Charan wrapped just 9 movies. Allu Arjun is little better as he has done 16 odd films in 12 years of his career.

But the speed at which these three are doing films is not so exciting when compared to iconic Chiranjeevi. They may say that in these modern days, it’s not possible to act in 3-4 films in a year. However, the younger brigade of mega heroes might prove these senior wrong.

In 2 years of their entry, both Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej have seen 3 films of them making news. And these heroes a couple of projects lined up too. Maybe if they continue this speed, soon they will be overtaking Ram Charan and Bunny first, and then Pawan Kalyan later.

The Power of Jua, mentioned as tagline explains the fantasy connection between hero and Jua, which means Sun in African language.

Alongside all these advantages, presence of writer Kona Venkat and comedians like Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Sapthagiri also make it a laughter riot. This is the big day not just being Diwali celebrated by the people, but also for Akkineni fans who have been eagerly waiting for the grand release of Akkinenis’ scion Akhil’s ‘Akhil’ film for a long time. The movie is releasing in record number of screens world wide.

Here is one more interesting news that makes Akhil fans to be cheered a big time. As per reports Akhil was paid a remuneration of Rs.7 crores for the project which is an all time record for any debut hero till date. This also marks Akhil’s craze at his very debut film.

A special benefit show of ‘Akhil’ is being screened today at Mallikarjuna theater of Kukatpally in Hyderabad at 4:30 am. The movie gets released in the US in 168 locations. Sayesha Saigal has played love interest of Akhil in this film. VV Vinayak has directed the movie on Shresht Movies owned by hero Nithin.

Putting speculations to rest, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th film, Dictator, is all set for release on Jan 14, 2016 on the eve of Sankranthi. Barely two months left, focus has been shifted to Balayya’s up next and much-awaited 100th film. Touted to be landmark in his 41-year-old career, Balakrishna’s 100th film has been subject of discussion.

It’s been in headlines sometime now and if the latest reports are anything to go by, Balayya’s 100th film is going to be a sequel for his classic Aditya 369. Tentatively, titled as Aditya 999, acclaimed director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is going to helm the sequel as well.

Though it’s buzzed in the past that the successful combo of Singeetam and Balayya repeating again, however, things didn’t materialise for various reasons. It’s learnt that Balayya is now seriously contemplating to work on Aditya 999.

Starring Balayya in dual roles, the scientific fiction film also features ensemble star cast like actress Mohini, Amrish Puri, Tinnu Anand, Silk Smitha besides then child actors Tarun, Raasi.

Revolving around a time machine, the movie was a blockbuster during those times and set cash registers ringing then. Apparently it collected over Rs 9 Crore through theatrical release in 1991. After 24 years, Balayya is going to do sequel for it. Eros International is going to produce the film.

“Loafer” trailer made two things clear. Mass offering of Varun Tej and glamour treat of Disha Patani is going to be huge. Since the trailer’s release, Puri Jagan’s new girl is no doubt being chased by many Telugu makers. Apparently the stroke of glamour is a key ingredient for many commercial hits and that’s where Disha Patani got connected with everyone.

Her scorching wet treat in a rain song and glamour in other songs stood highlight alongside Varun’s massy looks. Here comes the shocker however. Some reports are coming out that this young lady got petrified with Telugu film industry and is not showing interest to work here.

It’s no longer a secret. Nagarjuna Akkineni and Akhil share screen space in the latter’s debut which has hit the screens today ending prolonged wait. The father-son duo is seen shaking legs giving a treat to all Akkineni fans. Nagarjuna, Akhil and heroine Sayyeshaa grooved to the song ‘Akkineni Akkineni’ much to the delight of fans.

Even in his 50s, Nag matched to the steps of young pair Akhil, Sayyeshaa. Also, the film has several references to Nagarjuna and ANR whose legacy Akhil is carrying forward. There are dialogues on Nag’s Cycle Chain act in Siva which received well by crowd and even see Akhil mimicking his veteran grandfather ANR in a song.

However, contrary to rumours that producer-actor Nithiin would also be seen in the film, neither Nithiin nor Pawan was there in the film anywhere. VV Vinayak, who successfully launched several heroes in the industry, is launching Akhil as well. Stay tuned for more updates.

Energetic Hero Ram is a very disappointed man post the super failure of his recent release, Shivam. He had two releases this year – Pandaga Chesko and Shivam both failed to make a mark on the audience or the box office.

Ram is mulling serious changes for his next film, Harikatha so that he will be back to winning ways. The movie unit is already reshooting some portions of the film and is even planning to change the movie title. ‘Nenu..Shailaja’ is the new title in consideration.

Keerthi Suresh is making her Telugu debut with this movie. Kishore Tirumala, who penned dialogues for Raghuvaran Btech is turning in to a director with this film. Senior Producer and Ram’s Uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil had released in more than 160 locations for the Overseas premieres of the movie. The movie had collected $74,805 at 12 Midnight PST which can be considered average for Tuesday (working day) Premieres.

The movie is expected to collect $85K finally from the premieres. The collections there are expected to increase tomorrow as there is a holiday due to Veterans day. However the talk of the movie is also disappointing and weak reviews have started emerging.

We will have to see if they impact the overseas collections. Back home, the movie released in more than 800 screens in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Akhil is likely to take a superb opening, highest for a debutant, going by the advance bookings.
