Dictator Will Not Be Left Free
For some time, it was said that Dictator will be released along with Nannaku Prematho. Then the talk was that Dictator will be the solo release for Sankranthi in 2016.Though Nannaku Prematho was being readied for Sankranthi, it is being said that the film needs to complete talkie part for another 20 to 30 days.
Well, then there will be post production work and all that will take time. So, the film is more or less out of the race and it was thought that Dictator would be the sole release this coming Sankranthi.
However, now it is being said that since there is lots of free space in January, many medium films are being considered for release at the time.
Talk is that Krishnashtami starring Sunil and being produced by Dil Raju is one such release. Also, in the race is Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana.
So looks like Balayya will not be the only one in the Sankranthi race next year.

Nagarjuna begins shoot for Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu-3
King Nagarjuna is currently shooting for his TV show, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’s third season. Nagarjuna had allotted his date till this month end. After that he will resume the shooting of his Oopiri and will completely wrap it up.
Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu-3 will have 60 Episodes that season. Nagarjuna is likely to complete the shooting of 30 Episodes by this month-end and will be shooting remaining after completing Sankranthi.
On the other side, Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana is likely to see light for Christmas or Sankranthi. While Oopiri is being planned for February 5th, the next year. Nagarjuna is also playing a cameo in Akhil and also in Srikanth son, Roshan’s debut movie, Nirmala convent.
The Bet On Akhil: Can He Win?
In a few hours, the first ever Premiere of Akhil Akkineni’s debut flick “Akhil” is going to be screened. It’s time to talk about the pre-release business of the film, and how much recovery from box office would make distributors breathe easy.
In Andhra Pradesh, the film got sold to various distributors for around 17 crores, while Ceeded fetched 6+ crores and Nizam is being released by producer Sudhakar Reddy (Nitin’s father) himself, whose value could be accounted to 10 crores nearly. That makes the film sold out for 33 crores in Telugu states alone.
Overseas rights are sold for nearly 4 crores and Karnataka rights also fetched the same amount. Including the 2 crores that was obtained by selling Malayalam and Tamil distribution rights, Akhil managed to grab Rs 43-44.5 crores from theatrical rights.
So, the film has to fetch anything above 44.5 crores to be termed as a hit and Akhil needs to get a smashing opening with 30+ crores weekend to make it big.
Who Will Be Acting As Rana’s Wife In Baahubali 2 ?
We reported earlier that there will be new characters to be added in Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 as the first part became a phenomenon worldwide. To cash in on the craze surrounding the movie, the makers have rewritten the script. In the sequel, we will be seeing more characters than what we saw in the original like Rana’s wife role.
Rana played the character of Bhallaladeva, the younger brother of Amarendra Baahubali played by Prabhas and he was shown setting eyes on Devasena (Anushka). In the first part, there wasn’t any mention of Rana’s wife.
In the changed script, we are going to see one romantic duet between Rana and his wife and some extra scenes for his love life.
At present Rajamouli is scouting for the perfect heroine for this role though Lavanya Tripathi was considered. No heroine has been finalized yet.
Rana reportedly suggested couple of Hindi heroines. Rajamouli who decides everything about his movies will be auditioning them next week, we are told.
Details of ‘Akhil’ Film’s Benefit show
Debut hero Akhil’s ‘Akhil’ is all set for a grand release tomorrow in record number of centers world wide. Meanwhile, a benefit show of the movie will be screened in Mallikarjuna theater of Kukatpally at 4:30 am on November 11. Akkineni fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie while the movie lovers are curious to watch the performance to be shown by the debut hero.
Meanwhile, USA premieres of ‘Akhil’ film will be screened today itself. Aakash Movies is distributing the movie in the US and movie will be screened in 168 theaters across the US. Sayesha Saigal pairs up with Akhil in this romantic and action entertainer.
VV Vinayak has directed ‘Akhil’ film. The movie was produced by hero Nithiin o Shresht Movies. Thaman and Anup Rubens have scored the music of the movie. Senior musician Manisharma has composed the background score of the movie.

First ticket of Akhil purchased by Aunt
The first ticket of Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil was purchased by Nagarjuna’s sister, Naga Suseela for 1000 Rupees. This happened during the special show of the movie to Nagarjuna and Nithin families on last Friday.
Late Legend ANR used to consider Naga Suseela as the family’s lucky charm. Both the families are super delighted with the movie output and are in all praises for Akhil’s performance in the first movie itself. We are said that Nagarjuna did not attend the show due to other commitments.
Akhil is all set for a sensational release tomorrow as Diwali Special. The Overseas Premieres are happening tonight. The hungama of Akkineni fans is touching peaks as they are very excited about Akhil’s debut movie.
Pro BJP Media Shameful on Bihar Results !
Ever since the BJP led NDA stormed back into power at center after 2014’s general polls, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, strategically maintained friendly terms with leading news channels and newspapers at the nationwide and at the regional level. Incidentally, a leading newspaper of AP turned out to be biased towards Modi. An opposition party’s Media house has also extended its support to Modi as the head of the party wishes to form coalition with the BJP at the center.
Eventually, there has been no proper Media to magnify the blunders being committed by the Union Government. Although the BJP government got little shocker with Delhi poll results, pro BJP Media seems to have not realized with the negative wave on the government.
Since Media could not predict the pulverizing defeat of the BJP in Bihar, exit poll results also betokened the hung or little majority of the BJP in Bihar. At the end of the day, it appears Bihar defeat was not actually the defeat of the BJP, but it was the BJP pro Media’s defeat.
Karthi becomes Special guest for Nagarjuna this Diwali
Nagarjuna and Karthi’s bilingual multistarer film. Oopiri is currently being canned in Hyderabad. The makers are planning to release the movie on February 5th, the next year. The movie unit only have one day break for Diwali and so Nagarjuna had invited Karthi to his house to celebrate the festival with them.
And so Karthi along with his wife Ranjini will be at Nagarjuna’s home this Diwali. Oopiri is inspired from French film, Untouchables. The movie was extensively shot in the never before seen exotic locales of Paris, Lyon and Belgrade, Nagarjuna will be seen as a patient suffering from a deadly disease while Karthi will be his care taker.
Tamannah is the female lead. The film is having music by Gopi Sundar of Ustaad hotel. Potluri Vara Prasad is producing the film under his PVP Cinemas banner.

Nara Lokesh Emerges Power Center in TDP
Ever since Nara Lokesh elevated to the post of General Secretary for TDP National Committee and ex-officio member of the politburo, party’s highest authority on Sep 30 this year, things are swiftly changing in the party. After serving in the gross roots as party welfare fund coordinator and playing pivotal role in record membership drive of the party, the scion and heir apparent of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who has been a backroom boy in TDP, is soon emerging as new power center in the TDP.
Stanford-educated Lokesh is taking crucial decisions in the party and having series of meetings with the top brass and asking them to focus more on strengthening the party which holds sway in AP and Telangana. The move is aimed at expanding the base of the party and want to go national. Recently TDP won two seats in the Andaman municipal elections, and likely to contest the next general elections there.
